Dewlight nodded at Birdaong's response, turning to Turtlefur as he added his piece. She smiled at his reassurance. "I trust you won't." She purred, taking in the warrior's excitement. As he purred, she looked back to Birdsong. "Well, Birdsong, you can come with us now, or if there's anything you need to do, Turtlefur can meet you back here tomorrow at sunhigh to escort you to our camp. Whatever is best for you." She mewed warmly. She wasn't sure what, if any, final things Birdsong may need to do, but she wanted to give her the chance and time to do it.

"Thank you, Turtlefur." She grinned. She didn't think it had truly been in doubt beyond her own anxieties, but to hear him vouch for her, she was still grateful for it. Cloverheart. The name wasn't familiar to Birdsong, but she had to assume that this was Riverclan's medicine cat. She would hope that there weren't many like Beechface. Turtlefur seemed adamant that they weren't similar, and the thought brought a smile to her face. As for needing to be taught to swim and break the ice... "I'll do my best to learn, if you don't mind birds and squirrels showing up on the fresh kill pile more often at first." Fresh-kill was fresh-kill, though Birdsong would understand if the Riverclanners had different tastes. She herself had only tried fish for the first time recently, and while she'd liked it, she could also see why the older members of Skyclan had not. The same reactions were bound to happen with any cat eating prey outside the norm, though.
Dewlight spoke again, and Birdsong dipped her head in thanks for the offer. "Nothing remains for me as a loner. I can go with you now." Tornshadow would understand, Birdsong was positive. After the initial excitement of leaving had died down, she hadn't been shy about questioning whether or not she had made the right choice. Tornshadow would understand.
