It had been a bit since Birdsong had been accepted into Riverclan, and she'd quickly reacclimated to clan life for the most part. Riverclan specifics, on the other hand... Well, she'd been raised in a forest, and the more open territory along the river was far less familiar to the she-cat. Turtlefur had agreed to help teach the former Skyclanner in Riverclan's ways of doing things, and she was grateful for whatever help she could get.
Birdsong sat near the entrance of camp, rising to her paws as Turtlefur approached. "Hey, Turtlefur" She mewed, "Ready to go?" She wasn't sure she was looking forward to learning to swim when it was so blasted cold outside, but she'd do what was necessary. She couldn't stick to solely being in the beech copse forever. It wasn't quite cold enough for the water to have frozen solid, but it was cold enough that even Birdsong could feel the chill beneath her long, fluffy fur.
