Mistyfalcon shifted backward as the snake lunged, though needle-sharp fangs clamped down onto his foreleg anyways. Mistyfalcon hissed as the snake withdrew, blood dripping from the tiny puncture wounds. Mistlepaw had also missed, but it seemed like the snake was no longer interested in fighting.
"Are you alright, Mistlepaw?" He asked, noting the splash of blood across her fur. Much more noticeable than on his own dark pelt. "That snake wasn't a venomous one... We best go see Basilpaw anyways." Better to get the wounds looked at properly rather than risk infection.
