Dream of a Starling [CLOSED]

With most of the kits having become Apprentices, Dreamfire found it a lot more relaxing. The current kits were a lot easier to keep an eye on, and the Permaqueen wasn't too used to how peaceful her days had become. In fact, she found herself thinking that the days were getting a little boring, which was surprising considering how constantly annoyed she had been during the Waterlily kits' Nursery time. You only really miss something once you lose it.

Dreamfire stretched herself out at the entrance of the Nursery, enjoying a ray of sunlight shining down upon her, before shifting back to her paws and looking towards the camp entrance.

Starlingpaw had just returned from a hunting trip, dull tired eyes looking not to far ahead of him as he trotted in with a bird and a squirrel hanging from his jaws. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and let the prey drop from his jaws ungracefully. He slumped down next to the pile, yellow eyes scanning the camp before noticing Dreamfire looking at the entrance, in a somewhat bored manner. With a click of his tongue the apprentice picked up his bird again before padding over, and dropping it near her.

"Here. It looks like you might need this." The dilute tortie said. And some company. But he wasn't going to say it out loud. He wasn't going to show that he wanted to be the one to provide it. He sat down again, looking a little more dignified than he had a few moments earlier. "Bored?" He asked, shoving his tiredness to the side so he could chat with the Queen.
