Call for Blood [SkC vs WC]

Very little emotion was evident in Briarthorn's eyes as she stalked alongside the rest of her Clanmates, embracing the night better than any of them would ever be able to. It was almost as if her pelt blended into the dark, and she was certain this would give her an advantage over the WindClan cats that resided within their camp. At Wolfstar's signal, she charged forward, throwing every bit of her weight forward with little regard for those surrounding her. She soon spotted a frantic she-cat and ran toward her, bowling her over and managing to catch her off guard, enough that it gave her a significant advantage.

Briarthorn used Jumping Strike on Sunnyskip, dealing -10 damage (7+3 for Sunnyskip not being focused on Briar, and the ShadowClan passive negates the WindClan passive!) and using -6 (Beechface) Stamina Points.

Heart pounding in her little chest, Kitefire had settled uneasily at the fringes of Windclan's camp. Supposedly, there was purpose; supposedly, this was how she would prove herself. Flypaw had been brought along as well. She stuck close to her son, to the little tom whose life she wanted to preserve so much more so than her own. Out here, the sound carried and didn't bounce. In some ways, it made things easier for the eternal cocking of her head, in other ways harder. There was a shallow breath expanding and contrasting her lungs.

It had been impossible to rest, drawing the warmth of her kit. She had been fixing to prod him, whisper some words of encouragement, when the entrance became alive with a sea of bodies. A cold dread froze her frame as she drew herself to her paws. Kitefire stepped in front of Flypaw, the words little more than a solemn plea, "Keep yourself safe. Use your claws. Do not hesitate." With that, she whisked away and found her first opponent. For once, she was thankful for the deafened side, which dulled the growing screeches. She launched herself forward and fought the chill in her veins. As long as Flypaw survived, that was all that mattered.

As the noise came from outside, Amberfluff ran outside as if she was propelled by a spring. Chaos erupted everywhere, the loud yowls of cats ringing through the air. She stood still for a moment, fighting to stop her head from spinning at the sounds and pelts flashing by, before steadying herself. Her eyes locked onto a slender, grey tabby cat standing a bit more at the back. She sprang into movement, striking out for her newly-locked-onto opponent.

In hindsight, Amberfluff probably should have aimed for one of the higher ranks. But then again, her own attacking prowess wasn't much, and she didn't want to try and fight one of the stronger cats. Instead, she aimed for the cat that drew her attention first and snapped at them with her teeth.

Amberfluff uses Snap on Birdsong for 9 HP of damage, using 7 SP!

Yarrowpaw hissed back, a rage he’s never felt before filling him like a wildfire, or a raging flood. How dare Wolfstar, Leader of SkyClan attack a mere apprentice! Cloverpaw was just an apprentice, a healer, not a threat to him! Yarrowpaw sprang into action, poised and ready for battle, when another apprentice jumped in front of the two, blocking Yarrowpaw from getting to Spottedpaw. Hissing and spitting, the two challenged each other for what felt like ages, before Yarrowpaw finally sprung onto the other apprentice, knocking her to the ground.

Yarrowpaw uses Leap-and-Hold, dealing 6 damage and costing a lot in stamina. Spottedpaw is STUNNED 2 turns!

Despite all of Spottedpaw's training, nothing could have prepared her for this. The screeches of cats fighting, the flurry of bodies and fur and blood all around her. She froze, her back arched, head low, paws wide-set and defensive. For an eternity the two stared at each other, until finally the other apprentice dashed in, leaping and pinning her to the ground. Spottedpaw writhed in fury as his claws sank into her pelt. She ducked under him, twisting to gain her paws underneath her again, and shoved upwards, trying to break his hold on her as she raked claws across his haunch.

Spottedpaw used Duck-and-Twist against Yarrowpaw, dealing 5 damage and costing 4 stamina. The pin is broken.

Lichenblaze had hardly entered camp when a flurry of claws came at him. He got a whiff of RiverClan scent and snarled, yet his ears rang with the noise of battle and he reeled on his feet. How dare RiverClan interfere in a battle that wasn't theirs?

As Wolfstar gave the signal, Nighthaze charged ahead with the rest of his clan. He was hesitant to choose a target, but saw a lone cat not yet engaged in the fight and ran quickly towards her. His mind echoed sorries as his paws thundered against the earth, uneager to fight, but knowing he must. When he was close enough, he pounced, lanky legs outstretched, along with unsheathed claws. He gave her an almost sympathetic look as he began his fight, sorry for what was about to commence.

Nighthaze used Jumping Strike, dealing 5 + 3 - 1 (7) damage, and using 7 - 1 (6) stamina.

Lilacstar was appalled as she watched the SkyClan leader charge at Cloverpaw. She had been expecting the raid, but to go after RiverClan's medicine cat??? That was cold, even for the brute of a leader. Well, if he was going to take out their medicine cat, she could do the same to theirs.

Charging at Beechface with anger in her eyes, she leapt at the medicine cat, bowling her over. Rolling with the medicine cat, and landing in some extra hits while she was at it.

"Sorry about this, but your leader decided to attack a medicine cat apprentice. The medicine cat of a Clan wanting to protect innocent cats at that. I heard you were after the cat, Dawnhawk, right? You should tell your leader he is gone. This little battle is pointless. You cats have nothing to gain. Leave, now."

Tawnyflare patrolled the edge of the battlefield, eyes scanning, calculating, for the chance to strike. And there was plenty of cats she wanted to attack, too. But considering those cats were on her side, she was pretty sure that would be frowned upon. No fighting RiverClan today sadly, although she secretly cheered on any SkyClan cat going after RiverClan. She was pretty sure even Fawnstep would claw her throat out if she chose to defect now, and this would be such a pitiful reason to do so anyway. She could go after RiverClan any other day without consequence, after all.

A she-cat was rushing Birdsong, and she yelped at the sensation of teeth sinking into her flesh. She lunged forward in retaliation, aiming to sink her teeth into the she-cat's tail and pull her backward.

Birdsong used Tail Yank on Amberfluff for -14 sp dealing -4 damage. Amberfluff is stunned!

Yarrowpaw spit harshly when Spottedpaw wiggled out of his grip, claws flying as the two apprentices wrestled it out on the hard packed earth. The hawk was nothing compared to this; yowling, screeching, claws and teeth flying everywhere as the three clans battle. YarrowpW wishes he was with the hawk again. Anything other than this, watching his mate bleed out as he himself is fighting for his life. His newfound family’s life.

Hissing, Yarrowpaw backed up a few paw steps before pouncing again, snapping viciously at Spottedpaw’s leg. His scar burnt with the effort, pink skin still stretched taut and new, but he ignored it, biting down as hard as he could.

Yarrowpaw uses Snap, costing 7 in stamina and dealing 6 in damage.

A Skyclan cat was upon her soon enough, and Swiftspirit whirled, slashing at him with unsheathed claws. She had to fight through the tiredness, now was not the time for mistakes.
