"If any cat here is delusional it's your clan! I never said my clan didn't have flaws, and StarClan never even was mentioned! If SkyClan wants to blame us for Dawnhawk, then think again! We didn't raise him. We aren't the reason he's the monster you say he is. You cats are the real monsters here." She growled, preparing to swat at the gray she-cat again, but Rainypaw ran away instead.

Brookpaw's chest puffed in satisfaction as she beat Rainypaw, the pathetic weakling giving up. She was pathetic! Still, her shoulder stung a bit, and she turned, scanning for  Smallbean. It would be best to get patched up before dashing out into battle again. "Smallbean!" She yowled, running up to him, "Mind patching me up before I go destroy some more of these weasel hearts?"

Watching the she-cat run gave Silverlight satisfaction and reassurance that she was no longer being injured or was going to injure others. She did leave him with a parting gift that consisted of a few extra injuries but he brushed them off and turned away to assess how the rest of the fighting was going. He did attack her first after all.

He couldn't see his mothers from where he was but he prayed to StarClan that they were doing somewhat well. He noticed Muddyleap speaking to an unfamiliar tom not far from him and Sunnyskip was giving her all and seemed to be doing well for now. His green gaze scanned the rest of what he could spot amongst the chaos and it soon landed on the RiverClan leader who was duking it out with SkyClan's leader. His eyes narrowed into slits. He was the one who orchestrated this attack on WindClan, the one who had severely injured two apprentices, one of them being RiverClan's medicine cat apprentice. Wolfstar had no shame nor regard for StarClan's rules. A twisted leader that Silver was beginning to feel desperate to sink his claws into. He was crazy wasn't he? Thinking about jumping into a fight between two very experienced leaders... It was like he'd lost his mind...

He definitely was crazy. He most likely got it from his mother. It was too late to reassess his life choices as his paws bounded over to Ivystar and Wolfstar, intent clear in his head. He was going to lend aid to the she-cat that was providing WindClan some as well. She may not even know who he was or even care but on a battlefield, it didn't matter. Allies had to help allies and Silverlight was ready and determined to be a good one.

He kept up his speedy momentum and leaped at Wolfstar, eyes locked on the target. He put his all into that and managed to bowl the leader over. He didn't give the tom a chance to recover much when he struck him hard across the face with fervor and merciless claws and jumped to Ivy's side, stance tense as he watched his moves carefully.

The sight of another cat launch herself at her sent Amberfluff hissing even more. Why can't the universe just let her avenge her mate? Tail lashing, she sprang at the newcomer, not even taking the time to identify that Mountainheart was someone from the RiverClan side. She simply could not be bothered to care about it. She lashed out with her claws, hitting whatever of the other cat that she could hit. This cat had quite a large surface area, Amberfluff noted. Good, easier to hit.

The hit had landed, and Sunnyskip scrambled to her paws when she had the opportunity. Lilacstar had preached about war being on the horizon at the claws of SkyClan, but she had not actually expected it to happen. Before she could fully turn to face her opponent, sharp teeth caught her tail and she yowled in pain as it was tugged sharply. Stars erupted across her vision as she stumbled pulling her tail away from the other cat's teeth and holding it close to herself.

Mountainheart started to turn back so she could smile at Beechface, but she couldn't have done anything stupider. No sooner had she looked away from her opponent than white-hot pain seared through her flesh. She was caught off guard, and could only let out a weak yelp as claws raked through her fur. A particularly deep gash from her ear to the bridge of her nose sent blood gushing into her left eye, blinding it. She braced herself to stay standing, woozy from the sudden blood loss. Acting before her tiredness had time to get the better of her, she jumped onto Amberfluff and used her immense weight to knock her to the ground and keep her there. Instinctively, her claws unsheathed and nestled themselves in her shoulders, though she didn't have enough fighting experience to do anything useful with them. "I'm sorry! I'll let you go once you stop fighting!" She didn't realise that the cat she was pinning would of course let herself go, being leagues more experienced than her.

Beechface watched in grim silence as Mountainheart and the Windclanner fought, wishing that she could leap in to help. For now though, she sat, eyes drifting back towards Lilacstar's still body. Starclan wouldn't be foolish enough to resurrect the leader if she was in immediate danger... Right?

Swiftspirit winced as Bearspirit bowled over the apprentice who had been sputtering apologies to her. The poor thing might not have meant to cause as much injury as he had, but this was war and she hadn't been expecting to escape it unscathed. Bearspirit turned to her with a look of... very obvious concern, and she grimaced. Pale blue eyes scanned the clearing, picking out Smallbean's frame.

"He's... over there." She managed, though Bearspirit was probably going to have to shoulder some of her weight. Swiftspirit was bleeding... Probably more than was healthy.

"Look, just stay down, I don't want to hurt you any more than necessary." Birdsong hissed at the Riverclan-smelling apprentice, fangs snapping at her shoulder in response. She hated the scent of blood filling her nose, she hated hearing the yowls and screeching of battle around Windclan's camp. She had to stay, though, she couldn't just run.

"You really are foolish, Wolfstar." Ivystar spat, grimacing at the feeling of claws sinking into her skin, yet growling at the tom despite the pain. "I led my Clan here because it is in their best interest, for reasons you will remain unconcerned with. Disregarding that, however, should I not be concerned with the violence you so rashly incite against a Clan that doesn't even harbor the tom you're searching for? Would your time not be better spent searching for the one who actually wronged you?" She mewed, dashing backward to give herself space to prepare for her next move. A simple glance toward Silverlight portrayed her thanks for the assistance, and a twinge of worry for the tom for jumping between two leaders was plaguing the back of her mind. However, there was no time to ponder such things or ask the tom to step back- they were in the thick of a battle. So, with a growl, she darted forward and roared, "If that's how this is... Then consider this me doing SkyClan a favor and knocking some sense into your useless, idiotic head!" Rearing up onto her hind legs, Ivystar braced herself and brought both paws down on Wolfstar's head, smashing it into the ground with a sick crunch.

Briarthorn panted as she approached the stunned she-cat once more, keeping her claws unsheathed as she padded toward her. Lifting herself up onto her hind legs, she brought her claws down and raked them down Sunnyskip's side, watching as droplets of crimson blossomed from the fresh wounds. "Come on, aren't you going to attack me? Or are WindClanners really that cowardly?" She growled, taunting the she-cat.

His cheek stung as the other apprentice's claws raked across his face and he yelped a little, shaking the pain off. "What? What're ya talkin' about? W-We didn't know he was a criminal, he made himself look different!" Sunpaw cried, recoiling from Bumblepaw. Now this tom was being mean, so Sunpaw mustered up his courage and growled back, swiping at him. "I-I'm sure Lilacstar did what she could t'protect us, a-an' Dawnhawk isn't even here anymore, she made him leave!"

Once again, the RiverClanner's weight had him pinned. She was a more experienced warrior than him, it was obvious; he was emotional and reckless, and she countered him easily. As much as he hated to let her win, his energy was fading. Should he go down in battle and keep his pride, or flee and risk losing his dignity? Either his dignity or his life.

As he thrashed under her, there was a break in the fighting and his eyes locked on the fallen form of Newtpaw, bloodied on the ground. No...he couldn't let his apprentice die here. Summoning some of his remaining strength, Lichenblaze attempted to free himself from the pin, kicking at the molly wildly to get her off. "I'm no coward...but my Clan needs me. I will not be dying today!"

Claws raked across her shoulder and she growled, tail lashing. The scent of blood only fueled her battle-rage, but she could see in the older tom's eyes that he didn't want to be there either. He was simply doing his duty, as was she. Not to mention, he was much more experienced that her. Feeling a shock of fear, she delivered wild slashes, claws flailing.

"You have no idea what you've done," she spat, slashing at him again with unsheathed claws. "Dawnhawk is a murderer, and you kept him in your camp! You should know the damage he has caused!" Oh, if only she knew the damage that was yet to be caused...

Shrikestorm couldn't move. He had been pinned by his opponent, making him snarl. Of course, little did that warrior know what was truly going on. In a way, he couldn't blame her. "He's gone," he hissed, wriggling under the other warrior. "Someone from your clan told him, and he ran away. There was a faint scent of your clan when we returned from the Gathering..."

Sunnyskip blinked the stars out of her vision, hissing as claws split through the fur on her side. Panting, she finally got a good look at her attacker, and she arched her back and stood on her toes as they circled each other. "Not nearly as cowardly as you, pulling on someone's tail." She spat, trying to ignore the pain registering from various parts of her body. When she spotted an opening, she darted forward, slashing her claws across one shoulder of the she-cat before darting to the other and lashing out again.

Sunnyskip used Swift Strike, dealing 4 damage and costing 10 SP. She then used Front Paw Strike, dealing 9 damage for 7 SP, for a total of 13 damage for 17 SP.
