Eos grinned appreciatively as the tabby tom managed to slip away from her and swipe one of her back legs from under her before she could regain her footing. It showed that he had a brain and knew how to use it.

"Well done." She panted, once she'd regained her footing on the slippery ground. She gave the tabby a friendly nod before slipping to the edge of the crowd, content to watch the rest of the games.

Stormbringer realized her mistake shortly after she made it. She knew the dangers of her remaining on the ground the longer she remained there. She could feel Westeriabloom ready to pin her to the floor right then and there but the deputy slipped through the warriors paws just on the nick of time. The blue gray warrior quickly turned on her paws before trying to use her own strength to pin the other.

Streamtail struggled slightly to regain her footing as Raisha attempted to knock her off balance. Slightly surprised,  but also impressed, the blue-grey she-cat smiled. "That was a nice one." She complimented the other she-cat, before leaning downwards to swipe at her opponent's legs too. Streamtail was learning from Raisha, and maybe she would learn from her too.

At this point it was a battle of strength against speed. Wisteriabloom carried the weight of a large cat, but Stormbringer had the necessary small size and agility to avoid the other warrior's blows. Not for the first time, the deputy slipped away, and tried to pin her instead. Wisteriabloom tried to hold her opponent down, but she didn't know if her position would last.

Stormbringer could feel Wisteriabloom's paw on her. She could feel the weight on her. Stomrbringer could feel the weight causing her legs to give, and then the rest of her body met the cold hard ground. She was stunned at first but then a chuckle broke out from the warrior. "Congrats, you pinned me Wisteriabloom." The deputy said. She quickly batted her seathed paws at the bigger warrior playfully truing to get unpinned so she could join the audience. "Thank you for the spar. I appreciate it."

Shrikefrost wasn’t inclined to give any sort of compliment to the she-cat. He’d won, and these games wouldn’t excuse what she had done so far. The ghost tabby stretched out each muscle, already looking for someone else to spar with. His gaze settled on Stormbringer and Wisteriabloom, the two gray she-cats each attempting to grapple the other. He grinned as his mate came out on top. Nodding to Stormbringer, Shrikefrost gave Wisteriabloom some time to rest before asking, “Would you like to spar me? Too bad, you’re going to.” This, at least, was something he could enjoy. His mate’s larger size had enabled her to win against the deputy. He would have to use less traditional tactics to win. Shrikefrost sprung onto Wisteriabloom’s back and tried to use momentum to swing sideways, bowling both cats onto the ground. His goal was for them to roll around, Wisteriabloom disoriented because she hadn’t expected it, and him to use the surprise to get a hold on top of her. Time would tell if it worked.

Shimmerdust sat back, tail flicking as she spectated the matches going on. While she spotted a few cats left without partners, she had already decided for herself to not partake in this. She really didn't find herself having much interest in fighting, especially since it was just two cats jumping around trying to push the other down.

And besides, she could see herself getting defeated very quickly. She was a very frail cat when it comes to muscle strength, and she really couldn't see any way of her getting far into the competition even if she did join. And the prizes were not particularly attractive.

Shimmerdust is spectating!

Wisteriabloom was a little out of breath from he fight with Stormbringer, since it hadn't been easy, but she was still willing to spar with her mate. "Okay Shrikefrost, bring it on!" She hadn't yet sparred with the tom, and so she was interested in how it would go. He had also won his own spar earlier, but as it was against an Asylum cat, it didn't mean anything to her. Disorientated bu Shrikefrost's unexpected attack, he bowled he over, but she was soon back on her feet. She tried to leap at him, but he slipped through her paws like a fish, meaning all she could was wait for him to come at her again.
