Streamkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Stormbringer walked lightly on her way to the Willow Branch. She took a deep breathe before jumping up onto the usual meeting spot shared between her and Ivystar. She turned easily to look out on the empty space of the camp knowing it would be filled as soon as she called for the meeting. It was always interesting to see the camp from up here.

She readied herself before she spoke out, calling to her clan. "Let all cats old enough to swim gather underneath Willow Branch for a clan meeting!"

Streamkit padded slowly underneath the High Branch. She was slightly frightened and tried to make herself seem presentable by grooming her pelt. “Today’s the day. I’m going to be an apprentice.” She thought to herself. Streamkit didn’t have a lot of friends, but hopefully, when she was finally an apprentice, she could meet new ones.

As soon as she saw the kit that was going to made into an apprentice today she decided to move on with the meeting. "Today we are gathered to name another apprentice. Our clan is growing." The deputy said. "Streamkit please come forward." Stormbringer said waiting on the kit to come forward, once she had the deputy spoke again. "Streamkit, from this moment on, until your earn your warrior name, you will be known as Streampaw. Your mentor will be Nightwolf. I hope he passes all he knows to you." The gray warrior said before jumping down from the branch.

Streamkit, no, Streampaw stepped forward nervously, but surely. She stood next to Nightwolf, her mentor, and prepared to touch noses with her mentor.

Nightwolf looked up from where he was biting his leg when Stormbringer called his name. Nightwolf bounded over to Streampaw excitedly. "Were going to have so much fun! We can begin training tomorrow." He said excitedly, touching noses with her.

Streampaw smiled up at her new mentor. “I can’t wait!” Streampaw purred, now more excited than ever. “Maybe this isn’t so bad after all...” She thought to herslef silently,
