A Spot And A Wolf[Closed]

Spotfur tilted his head. Wolfsong looked wistful and... wrong. "I think the real question is, are you okay? You seem... off."

"Me?.. Uh yeah I'm fine.." he looked away once again, that was a huge lie he were as far from fine as possible.

With a sigh he looked back at Spotfur "No! I'm not fine. I keep telling myself that I'm fine but the fact is that it hurts me to know that you love another cat!" he felt his eyes tearing up "I love you Spotfur, I don't wanna be you'r friend but I know that that's all Im ever gonna be to you".

Worriedly, Spotfur kept his eyes on Wolfsong. He kept looking away... Why?

His question was soon answered by the other warrior. He kept silent throughout the tom's burst and tears. He kept a mostly straight face, watching intently. In the silence afterwards, he spoke quietly. "I see." Spotfur blinked, trying not to be emotional as well. "I've been prepared for this situation since I was a very very young warrior and my first litter had just been born." He started to explain. "Wolfsong, my heart is split. I have always wanted to share my love with everyone, including you. Smokewish didn't take Nutfur well at first, but she eventually understood what I'm telling you now. Just because I love someone else does not mean I don't love you. It just means that it's shared. Just like I love all of my kits, and you and Nutfur and Smokewish. But we can't make a family, Wolfsong. And if I was younger and not with many kits, I would love you back wholeheartedly. Now, though... People's opinion of a tom-to-tom relationship are low. As long as we keep it secret, I can treat you like a mate." He rubbed his head on Wolfsong. "And if one of us were a she-cat, our kits would be good-looking, like you." He looked, sincerely, into Wolfsong's beautiful eyes.

He look at Spotfur again with a smile “Well to correct you, you’r the good-looking one” he let out a loud purr.

Spotfur purred back. Then he got an idea. "purring contest! Loudest purr wins!"

Wolfsong grinned and let out a even louder purr than before.

Spotfur concentrated to purr

Wolfsong smiled brigthly as he let out a even louder purr, trying to beat Spotfur.

Spotfur tried to go louder, but had already reached his loudest and, panting from the effort, looked at Wolfsong in defeat. "You...(pant) Win..."

"Yes! Haha!" he purred happly "But you're still the best". He smiled at the beautiful tom infront of him.

Spotfur smiled. "Cats would hate me. They already dislike me for a lot of reasons and I don't want one more. But when we're alone..."

Wolfsong sighed "I know.. But you can't help who you love..." he mumbled.

Spotfur snorted. "Story of my life."

Wolfsong once again let out a sigh as he looked at Spotfur. He then shook his head with a smile "Okay, you stop that now".
