The Wolf's Song, The Cold Gaze And The Little Stream [Closed][Hunting Patrol]

Wolfsong trotted over towards the warrior's den, he were supposed to lead a hunting patrol with Littlestream and Coldgaze. He barely knew anything about the two of them, well he had seen Coldgaze acting up towards both the leader and the deputy once as a apprentice when she had been mad at Spotfur so he already didn't like the young warrior and Littlestream, he didn't know anything about her at all and he were just hoping to get this hunting patrol done without any inconveniences.

He looked into the warriors den and just as he had hoped both she-cats where inside "Littlestream, Coldgaze you'r on a patrol with me let's go" he meowed shortly and turned around, he padded over towards the camp exit to wait for them.



Coldgaze snapped her head around when she heard Wolfsong say her name, she sighed quiet and rolled her eye's a little, from what she had seen and heard the dark tom's only friend were Spotfur and she hated that tom if you asked her Spotfur finally where were he belonged, in the elders den and Wolfsong he were just a weirdo, there was so many other cats in the clan but he were just friends with one of them, one of the annoying once too.

She got up and padded out of the warriors den, heading towards the camp exit, atleast she would get to hunt, which she enjoyed, the thrill of killing the prey, wonderful, she grinned a little as she joined Wolfsong, she guessed that Littlestreama would join them soon so they could go.

It wasn't too long after that Littlestream had blinked her eyes opened and gave a small stretch to wake her sleeping limbs before she padded out of the wareiors den. The gray silver tabby she cat flicked her tail as she padded over. The daughter of Jaystar gave a smile"oh i guess I'm the last one to come over. Im sorry"She mewed flicking her tail a small smile on her maw.

Wolfsong quickly looked at the two warriors and nodded shortly as a greeting before he got up and padded out of camp. He keept a quick pace and glanced back over his shoulder now and then too make sure that the others keept up with him while he lead the patrol through the Riverclan territory.



Coldgaze shot the older warrior a cold gaze, he could atleast have said hello or something not just nodded towards them. She let out a annoyed sigh and mumbled "Weirdooo". She then grinned slightly as she trotted after Wolfsong.



Wolfsong snapped his head around and glared at Coldgaze "Just because you're a warrior now doesn't mean that Jaystar won't punish you for disrespecting an older warrior and I'm sure he would love to hear about what you just said, so if I were you I'd shut up" he growled before looking forward again.



Coldgaze flattend her ears slightly "Whatever". She looked down, she knew that Jaystar were keeping a watch on her after what had happend with Spotfur, so she decided to listen this time and keep quiet. She looked over at Littlestream, hoping that the she-cat would defend her.

Littlestream lowered her ear slightly hearing their slight bickering. Closing her eyes for a moment she sighed and opened them again her blue gaze looking to them"yes.....but let's not bicker among each other he wouldn't like that either"She mewed looking them. She wasn't sure what else to say. Quietly she moved ahead of them quietly to hunt.

Wolfsong shoot a quick glare towards Coldgaze before he too walked of to hunt leaving Coldgaze behind as he headed for towards the riverbank, he was a cat who enjoyed fishing the most, and it were easier. He sat down at the riverbank and looked down into the river, it wasn't long before the river would freeze and he would have to hunt the prey above water. He let out a quiet sigh as he looked over the river quickly.



Coldgaze growled quietly as both the older warriors moved ahead of her, she rolled her eye's and got into a hunting crouch and tasted the air a little to see if there where any prey around.

Littlestream was already at the the riverbank herself the she cat preferred to fish but had no problems catching prey that wasn't fish. It was just her preferred choice as she got herself comfortable and looked into the water quietly her blue eyes searching the water.

Wolfsong looked at Littlestream quickly as she sat a few leaps away from him on the riverbank he then looked back into the water, just as a fish came swimming towards him he stuck his paw into the water and swiftly scooped up the fish out of the water and killed it. He looked at the fish with a slight grin before he looked back into the water for more fish.



Coldgaze had caught the scent of a water vole and were slowly stalking towards it. Once she were close enough she launced forward at the vole, her sharp claws digging into the small rodent, she snapped the neck of it and trotted over to a bush where she hid the prey so that she could bring it back to camp later.

Littlestrwam smiled some spotting a fish swim into few and she swiped it from the water killing the fish and waiting for another one. This contined for a moment before she had finally caught three fish."Im going to see if i can catch a water vole"She mewed quietly hiding her fish.

Wolfsong looked up at Littlestream and nodded "You do that" he mumbled before going back to his fishing, so far he had caught four fishes and were gonna catch even more. He glanced back at Littlestream, she seemed fairly okay, didn't talk to much and most importantly she wasn't a brat like someone else, he shoot a glared towards Coldgaze who were creeping towards a bird. He looked back into the water.


Coldgaze stalked up on a pigeon, she stopped and waited for a few seconds before she leapt forward digging her claws into the birds wings and biting into it's neck and quickly snapped it's neck, she let out a purr, that kill had been pretty good, she always seemed to struggle with killing the prey she caught.

Littlestream had tried her paw at trying to catch a water vole and missed. After trying to catch another one she caught it and decided to go back to the river depositing her water vole with the 3 fish she had already."any more luck here?"She mewed quietly looking to the river.

Wolfsong had just managed to fish up another fish when he heard Littlestreams voice, he nodded and smiled slightly at her "Yeah but I think we should head back soon, we need to be able to carry all the prey back to camp too" he meowed and glanced over at Coldgaze to make sure that she wern't up to any mischief.


Coldgaze had just managed to catch a lizard and had hid it with her other prey as she saw another water vole, although when she got ready to catch it, it saw her and hurried away. She let out a annoyed growl and tasted the air to see if there were any other prey around.

"Well then i think we should be good with what we caught"She mewed looking to Wolfsong with a small smile."unless you think we can catch one or two more fish before we head back"she mewed quietly.

Wolfsong smiled at Littlestream "No I think this is more than enough" he meowed and picked up the fishes he had caught. "Coldgaze it's time to go!" he called out and looked at the young warrior who were a couple of fox leaps away from him and Littlestream.


Coldgaze snapped her head around and looked at Wolfsong, already? She sighed and went over to where she had hid the prey and picked it up, there was no use with trying to convince Wolfsong to letting her hunt more. She then padded over to Littlestream and Wolfsong "Alright I'm ready to go..".
