I didn't know Raccoonpaw and Frostpaw very well. They died too early, and I know that for sure. But Racoonpaw... I wish I could have had the chance to develop a relationship with him. I don't really know. I really expected the warrior to stop her, but really it's my fault. I should have just let them deal with the owl. I don't really even like all the fighting, I only ever just want to run away, but then I confused myself and now I'm dead. But it's okay. You couldn't have possibly seen or heard what was going on unless you had practically run and the only reason you did find me was because of my yell for help, right? Well, soon after that, they left me to die. I'm just glad the last face I got to see was Mothpaw's.

Want the truth, do you? Neither do I. I don't understand why either. I loved Softbreeze too and I truly do regret everything. It's just... it's like I have a thirst for blood but only when I get angry or something. I don't know. But you were a great cat, Fernfeather. I'm sure Briarpaw was too. I'm really sorry, Fernfeather. If I could die a horrible death or be tortured for moons or something to bring you and Briarpaw back to life, I'd do it. Know it in Starclan.

Sad. I wish I could be your friend, because I feel like you desperately need one. But Silverfang seems to think you're a traitor like Shadepaw does. I know you did have kits with a Shadowclan tom, but you're past that now. Funny, how Silverfang's two living kits from this litter know your secret and then there's my mom just like "I hate you, you are a traitor" when she doesn't even know! Does she?

I don't know when it'll end. Now that we've dragged in the other three clans to this war, I have a feeling that we have a really big war coming on and I dread it. I know that so many lives will be lost. This has become more than a territorial skirmish. This is full-out warfare. As for your other question-

Starclan, YES! I could have saved so many cats... Darkpaw, Brightpaw, Raccoonpaw, Frostpaw, all of them. I could have saved them. It feels like my weakness back as an apprentice cost me their lives, and it would have cost Mudkit's too, if it hadn't been for my being able to swim.
