Two cats have been attacked by a fox - Tanglepaw and Flashpaw [CLOSED for TC cats - oh, and Powerchu, Duskfall is needed]

Silkpaw padded up to Duskfall. "Duskfall!" She desperately meowed, "I- uh, there's no time to explain! Tanglepaw and Flashpaw are... Are... Dead!" She cried.

OOC: Sorry I'm so late to post here. And it's so short.

OOC: No, it's fine.

"They shouldn't have died!!" Cloverpaw cried and buried her muzzle in Sunpelts Fur.

OOC: Thanks.

IC: "Duskfall! Duskfall!" She urged, trying to get the ThunderClan deputy's attention. "Tanglepaw and Flashpaw have died from a fox attack! But me and Sunpelt and Cloverpaw killed it. It won't bother us anymore." Silkpaw sighed. She looked to see if Sunpelt and Cloverpaw were back with the lifeless bodies, and sure enough they were. Just seeing the bodies made Silkpaw sad.

"What? A fox?" Duskfall leapt over rushed, nearly slipping on the smooth rocks in his haste. The muscular brown tom looked over at the mangled bodies of the two apprentices in horror. Only ten moons ago they'd lost Leopardpaw to a fox, and to lose two young apprentices, it was truly painful. Flashpaw, in  particular, was his granddaughter. If the fox hadn't been killed, he would have run off right then to end the vicious beast that had taken these two from them.

"Silkpaw, go fetch Hawkstrike. She deserves to mourn her daughter." After order her to leave, Duskfall placed his front paws, one each, on top of the two apprentices heads. The pair were gone to Starclan now, and there was little he could do for them, but seeing as in half a moon's time, Flashpaw would have been a warrior, he gave them both a solemn ceremony with Sunpelt and Cloverpaw as witnesses. "I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have learned the warrior code and given up their life in the service of their Clan. Let StarClan receive them as a warriors. They will be known as Flashwing and Tanglefur."

Sunpelt sighed with relief. They had been made warriors just in time.

Silkpaw nodded, "Yes, Duskfall." She mewed, setting off to find Hawkstrike. She walked to the Warriors den, and said to Hawkstrike. "Hawkstrike! Um, we have a problem with Tanglepaw and Flashpaw. Well, now Flashwing and Tanglefur. No, they didn't have a warrior ceromony. You'll see when you get outside..."

Fawnpaw padded up to her littermate sadly, although she was from a different litter they were still related.. "I'm so sorry this happened to you" She mewed her voice full of tears, her leaf-green eyes full of emotions.

Sunpelt reached out his muzzle to lick Fawnpaw's ear, grief running through him from ears to tail-tip.

"What's going on? Silkpaw, explain yourself!" Hawkstrike hissed, coming out with her fur flat against her back in concern. There was something about the apprentice's tone that sent shivers up her spine, and she didn't like it one bit.

When she came out, she saw the cats huddled around two bodies, and her father looking sorrowfully at them. The cream she-cat remained in denial, there was a chance it was someone else. Surely Flashwing had just broken a leg or something. But when she met her father's gaze, she knew what had happened.

"No, no! Flashwing!" The cream tabby raced over to her kit, shoving Sunpelt and Cloverpaw out of the way. She nuzzled her kit, trying to get her to move in anyway. Her paws shook as she clung to her little kit, her precious child. "What happened? Who did this?"

"Well, Cloverpaw asked Sunpelt and Flashwing and Tanglefur to help her chase a fox out," Silkpaw sadly explained, "And they got attacked by the fox, and then I was hunting and heard them and helped them kill it so don't worry about the fox," She closed her eyes. "Tanglefur and Flashwing died..."

"Wait, this wasn't an attack?" Duskfall asked, turning to face Cloverpaw and Sunpelt, tensing up with every word. He had thought they'd just been attacked hunting or patrolling, not gone off fox hunting without telling anyone. "Sunpelt, you took out four apprentices with you, without asking your leader or deputy, on a fox hunt?! What in Starclan were you thinking! They were apprentices for a reason, young and inexperienced. You should have never taken them out alone, you are barely a warrior yourself!"

The deputy growled this all in the tom's face, getting close with fury written all over him. Then he turned to Cloverpaw. "And you! You are an apprentice, what were you thinking, organising a fox hunt. Who do you think you are? Your foolishness cost two of your clanmates their lives. These two didn't die because of the fox. They died due to your arrogance. And Silkpaw, you did no better, going along with their hare-brained scheme."

Finally, the tom paused to take a breath. To calm down before he got anymore upset. After a few tense seconds, he continued. "Sunpelt, you will remain on camp guard duty for the next moon. And you two, Cloverpaw and Silkpaw will remain at camp as well. You two will help the sickly and look after the kits. Neither of you will leave camp without my approval. May Starclan have mercy on your souls, since I sorely am lacking any."

The cream coloured queen remained silent as this debacle went down, clinging to her kit still. But when Duskfall finished his tirade, she spoke quietly again, in a frightening whisper. "Everybody leave me be with my kit. Father, I know you mean well but I want to be alone. And Sunpelt, Cloverpaw, you may be related to me, but stay out of my sight for the next few moons unless you want your ears clawed off."

"Fawnpaw, my sweet. Please get your siblings, they deserve to mourn their sister." Hawkstrike continued, still not looking at anything but her kit, Flashwing.
