February’s Gathering 2018

Robinpaw came in with her Clan, a sour expression on her face. She had missed the last Gathering, much to her dismay, and her warrior ceremony had been delayed. And she put all the blame fully on the RiverClan tom who tried to end her life. She sat down by herself, keeping as far away from RiverClan as possible. Normally, she would have tried to socialise, but not today. No, today she would keep to herself.

Wisteriapaw was there.

Rosepaw examined the apprentice she was talking to, she knew three things, they were female, they were indeed an apprentice, and Rosepaw had never seen them in her life. She noticed that the apprentice was Jumpy and seemed kind of awkward- which only made Rosepaw more interested. Rosepaw had the tendency to also get freaked out by the smallest things, not to mention she wasn't exactly the best when it came to being social. As they relayed their name, Rosepaw was kind of surprised. Tiger was such a cool prefix... compared to her's it was leagues cooler. But in the time Rosepaw could've responded she didn't and Tigerpaw spoke again, this time Rosepaw replied nearly immediately. "Likewise, It is nice being able to talk to someone my age. Even if they aren't in my clan." her voice sounded cool and determined, to Rosepaw's delight.  All the apprentices in her clan thought she was super weird or they were the cats that bullied her as a kit, but it didn't matter. Either way, she went days without socialization because of that, and it felt so nice to talk to someone who wasn't her mentor.

Echopaw continued sitting a little bit away from the other cats in hopes of not getting noticed.

Wolfsong keept looking around for Spottedpaw, Daisypaw, Rosepaw and Frostfeather but to no use, seems like they ain't coming this time.

Wildpaw looked around at the cats and saw that most seemed worried. He didn't care thought it was his first gathering.

forstfeather decided to come to the gathering since she wanted to know what was happening with Riverclan and thunderclan. she saw wolfpaw and went up to him. "hey whats up where is darkpaw?" she asked him.

daisyheart and spottedpelt came at the same time and went towards their friends. "hey frostfeather and wolfpaw." they both said.

rosepaw came into the gathering with a big smile. even though she witnessed hailpaw die newtface helped her deal with it. she bouned up to the group. "hey guys." she said smiling.

swirlpaw noticed some cats from all clans gather like they where friends and she decided to face being shy. she walked slowly up to them. "umm..hello..im..swirlpaw." she said softly.

Spotpaw was close to Wolfsong and heard Frostfeather's question and whipped around, grimacing. "You're one of her friends, aren't you? Sorry to say, but... Dar- Darkpaw is... is dead.
She was killed by a fox. And my fren is WolfSONG now, the lucky guy!"

Wolfsong smiled at them and then Spotpaw "Hey guys and yeah like Spotpaw said.
And I wouldn't say I'm so lucky I would rather have Darkspirit here with me... Ivystar gave her a warrior name on my cermony too so she got to become a warrior atleast" he meowed trying to stay as possetive as possible. "And Frostfeather, whats wrong with Echopaw? He dosn't seem to good?" he asked.

The black tom lead ShadowClan into the clearing, his gaze stuck on the Highstones as he swiftly made his way to the rock. After the last gathering, the tom wanted to speak and leave as quickly as possible. There was still so much his mind dwelled on. The tensions between ThunderClan and RiverClan seemed to grow with each day, his choice could not be delayed for very much longer. Magpiestar leapt onto the stone, nodding his greeting to the other leaders before settling down behind the rest.

Rainstorm padded into the gathering, Lilacpaw close at his heels. The apprentice was nervous about her first gathering. There were so many cats, it was almost too overwhelming. She brushed up against her father for comfort as they took a seat near the rest of their family.

Dawnpaw and Icepaw were also there and just chilled close to their clans.

Silentpaw wandered in slowly, taking in the sights with wide azure eyes. There were so many cats! Her heart was beating so fast she was sure they all could hear it. Instinct told her to hide, but she knew she had to be here. She took a seat with the rest of her clan, staying close to her family.

Sootpaw trotted in, trying to stay as near Magpiestar as he was allowed. 'My first gathering! This is gonna be so awesome!' He thought, his fur puffed up with pride. He couldn't wait to see the other clans. Obviously Shadowclan was the best, but he wanted to see what the others looked like too. Once his mentor leapt up onto the giant rock, Sootpaw glanced around the clearing to try and see who he could talk to.

Thornpaw was much less happy about all of this. She stomped through the leftover leaf-bare snow and plopped down with her clan. "Why are we even here..." she muttered, irritation and impatience clear in her voice as she scratched at the ground idly.

Newtface padded into Fourtrees beside Rosepaw with his head held high. When the she-cat beside him branched off to go speak to her friends, the speckled tom decided to be on the lookout for any cats to talk to. That's when a memory decided to strike. ThunderClan... they had been the cause of Finpaw's death. Newtface had sworn that he'd teach them a lesson. Of course, he couldn't do it here and now. The Gathering was a time of peace between the Clans, but that didn't mean that he had to act all friendly and happy with them. He padded over towards the outskirts of Fourtrees and stalked around the edge of the clearing. He was determined to look for any ThunderClan cat that even resembled the appearance of the cats he had seen on the other side of the Thunderpath. Despite the fact that his yellow eyes were narrowed, he could still see clearly. Then, he spotted them. Well, two of them. There had been three cats on the patrol he had seen, but he didn't bother to try and spot the third one. Just two would do. With his eyes ablaze, the tortoiseshell warrior stormed over towards Wildpaw and Newttounge. There was no remorse, regret, grief, or fear in his eyes, there was just pure anger.
"I'm shocked that you two even had the pride to show up here tonight," Newtface began as a greeting, "Us decent Clan cats don't appreciate fox-hearts, thank you very much."

Littlebrook padded in quietly behind Magpiestar, an unusual blank look on her normally bright and friendly face. Her son's murder was still unsolved besides the fact it was obviously the work of a WindClanner, and she was beyond furious. Silentstorm deserved much more than to be murdered in cold blood by those fluff-brained fools. She'd had a pretty indifferent opinion about the rabbit-chasing clan, but now her disinterest has turned into a fiery hatred. She wasn't sure she had ever hated anything so strongly as she did now, and it took all of her might to keep her fur lying flat. She wanted more than anything to claw those mangy foxhearts for what they had done, but no, she was a deputy, and she had to act like one. Suppressing an agitated growl, she made her way towards the spot where the deputies sat, nodding politely to the others, aside from Brindlewhisker, who she didn't even spare a glance. Settling down, she wrapped her tail nicely around her small paws and waited impatiently for the gathering to begin. She was already ready to be back home in camp.

Scorchfang followed in after his Clanmates. For the first time since he had begun seeing Sweetheart in secret, he didn't try to look for her among RiverClan's cats. He was already more than happy with Minnowpaw.

Reedclaw watched ThunderClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan join the two clans already present.  Tensions were very high and he felt it increase as cats began to mingle.  He still sat by himself, which he was fine with, but he wouldn't mind some light conversion. (ooc: open for conversation)

Jaypaw sat on the outskirts of a group of WindClanners, he was up for talking with cats from other clan, so he looked around for cats who were alone, and looked his age.  He walked to the front and saw a large white fluffy cat by himself (Swiftpaw: Maple).  "Hello, I'm Jaypaw, what's your name?"  The slender grey apprentice sat next to the cat who smelled like trees.

Tawneypaw moved in with the rest of SkyClan, and looked around for cats to converse with.  She had talked to a ThunderClan cat at the last gathering, and she wanted to talk to a cat from each clan before her warrior ceremony, that was a goal for her.  She spotted a cat that she hadn't seen before (Sootpaw: Kari) and moved towards him.  "Hey there, I'm Tawneypaw, who are you?"

Asterpaw trotted into the opening to see all the cats.  Her eyes were the size of the full moon, which hung in the sky.  Her heart began to beat faster.  The apprentice decided not to actively seek anyone to talk to, unless they were from ShadowClan. (ooc: still open for anyone from any clan.)

Whitepaw is not there.

Nectarleap walked into the clearing with the rest of WindClan, smiling when he saw Rosepaw socializing with other clans. It was great to see his apprentice coming out of her shell. looking around, he spotted a ShadowClan warrior (Scorchfang), and decided it wouldn't be too bad to go up to him. Talking to other clans was what this night was for. Confidently, he padded over to the dark tabby. He didn't recognize him from anywhere, so they would both be meeting each other for the first time with a blank state. Sometimes, in a clan full of cats who knew him, that was desirable. "Hi, I'm Nectarleap of WindClan. You?"

Swoopnose padded into Fourtrees with ThunderClan, not feeling like talking to anyone outside of his own clan. He was still rather embarrassed about how he had acted when RiverClan had marched into camp. Maybe they had already forgotten about him? Hopefully.

Curlyfeather padded in behind ShadowClan, already knowing who she was going to talk to. Sharpfang, or whatever her name was. It didn't matter. She was going to go over to her and give her stupid little head a piece of her mind. Forcing her claws to stay sheathed, her blue eyes narrowed as she stalked towards ThunderClan. There was just one small problem. She could see the cat who had maimed her. But a cat who looked almost exactly like her caught her eye. He was a bit smaller, and a tom. Maybe her brother, or son or something. It didn't matter. Maybe he knew where his stupid relative was. In that way he could be at least a little helpful. Eyes burning with rage, she padded up to him, voice low and in a growl. Not that she could hear it, but she could try to seem menacing. "Where is Sharp?"

Sootpaw jumped slightly and turned around to look at the new arrival. "Oh, hey there! I'm Sootpaw." The new scents flooded his nose, and he wasn't used to the different unique smells of each clan yet. The calico she-cat in front of him smelled of trees foreign to him and something else that he couldn't name. Giving up on inspecting her through scent, he asked "What clan are you from? I'm a Shadowclan apprentice!"

(OOC: I might add, both Silentpaw and Thornpaw are open for socialization as well. Just expect awkward stuttering from Silent, and prickly, biting remarks from Thorn.)
