The grey tabby tom closed his eyes when he saw that swift paw approaching his face and then... everything turned black. The only thing he could feel was that he was in pain and that he couldn't open his left eye right. The blood ran through his wounded face to his muzzle, where he could sense the blood with his own tongue and he could finally understand what just happened.

The deputy stood froze in his place for a second, afraid that he had might lose his eye. But that fear faded when Leopardclaw talked to him for the first time during all the battle. A strong anger born inside his heart while he cleaned the blood on his face with one paw, finally opening his left eye. "Riverclan is stronger and we will live another day to see you fall under our paws! I will not let you or your clan kill my clan just because you couldn't deal with a fire that one of your own caused!" With a hiss, the younger tom leapt to the other deputy, sinking his fangs on his scruff and shaking it energetically. Half of his vision was covered in red and the wound on his muzzle stung but that wouldn't stop them from fighting until his last breath.

Jaystream used Scruff Shake on Leoparclaw, dealing 8 damage and costing 25 stamina. Leopardclaw is stunned for 1 turn.

Heatherpetal squeaked weakly, her throat sore from her screeches of agony. She collapsed in a puddle of her own blood, melting the snow underneath.

Her body hurt all over, but her pride hurt more.

She failed ThunderClan. She did the very best that she could, but she failed.

She didn't deserve to be called a ThunderClan cat...

She whimpered as she struggled to her paws, slowly limping out of the battlefield, and she collapsed when she finally reached her adopted older sister Honeyspark. She looked up pleadingly at her, whimpering softly.

Birchpaw spat furiously as she was tackled. She used her hind legs and kicked out, raking his stomach. This was for ThunderClan. She just wished they could have combined efforts to survive Leafbare.

Shoulders straining with the effort of keeping the thrashing tom below the surface, Splashwillow’s teeth grit tightly as her claws wrenching painfully as she shoved Shrewheart’s head further into the frigid waters. Although it would be easier to simply keep the ThunderClanner below the water forever- until he was cold and still and peaceful. ’There’s no need for actions that drastic.’ The Warrior reminded herself sternly before relaxing her grip upon the darkly colored tom.

However, taking advantage of the ThunderClan cat’s newfound weakness in his post partially-drown state, Splashwillow lashed out once more. Brutually catching the younger tom across the face and sending him sprawling, she fell upon his belly with vicious swipes.

Thistlepaw hardly had any time to react before the RiverClan tom was turning on her with a terrifying amount of strength. The world blurred around her as her head was suddenly sent smashing down towards the partially frozen river, the battle cries of her warring Clanmates ringing faintly as she was plunged into the bone-chillingly cold water.

Letting out a silent scream, and inhaling a large amount of water in the process, Thistlepaw continued to helplessly thrash in Lakewhisper’s grasp.

Sharptooth snarled angrily and lowered herself to the ground, her tail lashing in annoyance. "You've made a mistake, Riverclanner. I'll see you in Starclan."
With a bellow she rose onto her hind legs, spit flying from her half-open mouth. With a soft hiss she brought her paws down on the smaller warrior's head, pummeling her face and neck and sending her falling to the ground.

Finchstream squealed in pain as the ThunderClan warrior once against struck her already sore face, and she turned her head downward to try and wipe off some of the blood that was threatening to pool into her mouth.  Before she could though, she felt sharp fangs sink into her scruff, and with a scared cry endured a fit of horrible thrashing, her already churning stomach threatening to spill it's content onto the rocks below.  Extremely dazed, she didn't even squirm, only waited for the torture to end, she knew she would see the starry pelts of her friends and family at any moment...

Leopardclaw's eyes narrowed venomously as the gray tabby tom spoke of ThunderClan's misfortune, brought about by the tom who had given him his torn ear, slaughtered his own mate like prey, and weakened his beloved daughter beyond hope.  Cherrykit had died on these very rocks where blood was now being spilled...and he swore, that he would everything in his power to protect his family, and that included winning this battle.  Leopardclaw tried to jump out of the way of Jaystream's advance, but he wasn't quite quick enough.  The RiverClan deputy shook him violently, and when he was done Leopardclaw was left dazed.  From his unstable position though, he fixed one intensely blazing eye onto Jaystream, meeting the tom's gaze, and growled lowly.  "Tell me...are you a father Jaystream?"

Owlpaw hissed as she was taken by surprise by the smaller apprentice whom managed to do a leap and hold on her back. With a sharp she bucked her massive body turning her head to snap her jaws at the apprentice angrily.

Duckpaw growled at the she-cat. Her green eyes were ablaze. Now that she had finally gotten into the swing of the battle, the fear had been replaced with adrenaline. Deep down, she was still upset that this entire battle had to happen. However, she used that irritation to fuel her attacks. The brown cat furiously knocked Owlpaw over and clawed at the ThunderClan cat's belly.

Darkflight hissed at the pain for but a moment before shaking the water and blood out of her fur. She leaped, if a bit awkwardly, at Otterleap. She didn't attempt to land gracefully, it didn't matter. In fact, she practically bowled him over before she sank her claws into his legs and her teeth into his scruff, giving him a vigorous shake. The she-cat tried her best to ignore the screeches of her Clanmates, including her last surviving son.
