November's Gathering 2017

Meanwhile, a tiny apprentice was jumping up and down in frustration, trying to see over the crowd.
"C'mon!" Mintpaw mewed angrily. "Move... I can't see!"

Fawnpaw had walkes in with Windclan and now was in search of some apprentices to talk to. She noticed something... peculiar.  There was an apprentice that looked like her. Why not talk to her? She padded up to the shy she-cat with a friendly smile (Vixenpaw). "Hey! I'm Fawnpaw! What clan are you from?" she asked.

Mallowpaw walked up to her father. She wanted to sit near him. "Dad? Should I go talk to some other apprentices?" The Skyclan apprentice wanted to hear what her father had to say.

Nightpaw was not intetested in talking to anybody so she stayed alone with some Thunderclan warriors near her.

Jaystream's ears flattened seeing how he messed up his chance of bonding when he noticed that the other tom was a bit upset for not responding his answer. He stayed quiet, listening how the other conversation between the other two deputies continued. He was really a mess. He got nothing to share and nothing to say. Why was he here if no one was going to listen to him? He was a stranger... someone who would be probably seen as weak and awkward. Oh, how much he wished that Cinderpaw where right by his side but he couldn't complete that dream because he had to sit there without saying a word.

He looked up at the newcomer: Leopardclaw. He also knew him by his name because of other gatherings. Shyly, he nodded back at him as a greeting and tried to find the courage to try again bonding a bit. "Hello and yes... I'm new here so that's why you probably don't know me... I'm Jaystream. Nice to meet you." He said with more confidence and less shaking. He had to be strong a defeat all those demons that made him doubt each time he had to face a difficult situation. If he was going to be deputy, he must overcome his fears but it was hard sometimes.

Magpiestar lead ShadowClan into the gathering, his head low as he traversed his way towards the Great Rock. With a few quick jumps, the tom leapt onto the perch, joining the other four leaders. He nodded a quick greeting to Ashstar, Crowstar, and Blizzardstar, but took a moment to stare at the new she-cat. She was the RiverClan deputy. He had seen her take Fishstar's place many times before, but the look in her eyes told him it wasn't as simple as that. He dipped his head towards her with a more solemn feel to the action.

Reedheart entered the camp with Heatherpaw by his side. He sat down and noticed how nervous she was. Smiling at her warmly, the tom nudged her with one paw, motivating her to stand up and move. ”I know seeing so many cats might be scary but why don’t you try talking to other cats? You can find friends in other clans, you know? Just remember that in battle, clan comes first but here we’re all in peace so, go!” He purred

Batfang entered the gathering behind his clanmates and looked annoyed at Skyclan. He really wished he wouldn’t meet Mapleshade ever again. He didn’t love her anymore. He had to be with Tinytip now so the Skyclan she-cat didn’t mean anything to him.

Pantherpaw followed Crowstar, looking all the cats gathered with hidden angry. Why they had to gather and talk? These cats were enemies after all. But what really drove him mad was the fact that his unknown father was somewhere out there among the other Riverclan cats.

Scorchpaw broke away from Violetshine's side with a grunt. He didn't want any cat from another Clan knowing that someone as great and powerful as he was being mentored by a she-cat -- that was until he stared up in disbelief to find three of the leaders were she-cats themselves. How in the name of StarClan did they themselves allow such soft cats to lead a Clan?

"ThunderClan, WindClan, and RiverClan must be unbearably soft Clans," he muttered softly to himself with a disgusted snort and a lash of his tail. He then shrugged. "Oh, well. All the easier to take over their territories one day."

Heatherpaw gulped and tried to shake her head no, but suddenly a fluffy gray she-cat with green eyes bounded up to her and waggled her haunch excitedly, clearly wanting to play with her.

"Hi! I'm Fernpaw of WindClan!" the apprentice squeaked. "What's your name?"

"U-Um... I'm Heatherpaw..." Heatherpaw answered shyly, averting her gaze.

Fernpaw nuzzled her with a happy purr. "You don't need to be shy around me! I just wanna be your friend!" She then looked up at Reedheart and arched her eyes happily at him. "Hi! I'm Fernpaw of WindClan! Are you Heatherpaw's mentor? You look amazingly strong! I'd hate to meet you in battle!" She purred with laughter.

Honeydrop padded into Fourtrees alongside Magpiestar, looking as nervous and uncomfortable as ever. No matter how many times she came to Gatherings, they were still stressful. Too many cats, too many eyes, not enough space to breathe. She sat down by Featherpaw in the medicine cats' spot, offering her a friendly nudge of greeting. With her fellow medicine cats, at least, she could do her best to be kind and civil.

Gingerstripe strode into the clearing along with his Clan, noting with slight displeasure that they were the last to arrive. Oh, well- at least his entrance would be that much more fashionable. His tail-tip flicking in interest, he looked around at the sea of cats around him. Unlike some others in his Clan, he loved Gatherings- he wasn't that fond of the enemy warriors, especially ThunderClanners- but he still enjoyed being around so many other cats and learning about the other Clans.

As a cat who smelled of SkyClan approached her and Lakepaw, Snowpaw grinned. "Hey, nice to meet you! My name's Snowpaw, and this is Lakepaw. This is our first Gathering too. You're a SkyClan cat, right?" This was great! Her first time at Fourtrees, and she was already making friends!

Featherpaw nodded to Honeydrop in greeting, still feeling rather out of place.

Lilacfall was vibrating with excitement - her first Gathering as a warrior! She tried to contain it, though, and also tried to stick close to her Clanmates.

Snakeblaze followed Magpiestar into the clearing and sat down, nodding to anyone on the way.

Littlebrook followed Magpiestar into the gathering, her gentle features relaxed and warm. Gatherings tended to be stressful, but she kept an optimistic outlook on things now. Hopefully everything would go fine, and we can all go home in peace at end. She thought with a tinge of hope. After giving her sons a goodbye flick of her tail, she made her way to where the deputy’s say at the base of the rock. Giving the deputies a warm smile and a respectful nod, she situated herself next to the new tom who smelled of RiverClan. Noting Ivyfall, probably -star, up on the Great Rock, she figured this must be the riverclan deputy, which meant something happened to Fishstar. Giving the young tom a sympathetic look, she busied herself with grooming her sleek tortoiseshell fur.

Lakepaw smiles as his eyes laid on his friend. “Snowpaw! I was just looking for you.” he smiled before nodding enthusiastically at her question, “No! I mean there’s way more cats in the forest than I ever thought, and all the scents of the clans mingling together? It’s.. Its crazy!” he mused with bright amber eyes. Suddenly, they were interrupted by a couple other apprentices and he offered them a goofy grin. “Yep I’m Lakepaw!” He told them, confirming what Snowpaw had told them. “There’s so much to take in, isn’t there?” he meowed in a friendly tone.

Cloudroar’s whole demeanor softened at his daughter’s voice. “Sure darling, it wouldn’t hurt.” he purred softly, “Though if you’d rather stay with me, that’s fine too.” he told her warmly, wrapping his fluffy tail around her shoulders.

Blazingwing slid into the gathering, keeping a relatively low profile as he blended in with the rest of the growing crowd. He was mildly disappointed with the results of last moon's gathering, and wanted to make up for his lacklustre 'attempts' to socialise with the other cats. He went to approach a group of Riverclan warriors, when the brown-and-ginger tabby noticed a sleek, white pelt in the middle of the rumpus of mingling cats. He was about to overlook the she-cat when he noticed how.. stunning she looked. Ahem. She looked like a nice cat to talk to, but he didn't feel the willpower to just strut over and introduce himself. Perhaps she would come and do it herself. He sat there, gazing in her direction, as if in a trance, until he finally realised what he was doing and whipped his head away, back fur prickling. He could smell the scent of heather radiating off her pelt. She was from a different clan. So.. why did he want to meet her so badly?


Driftpaw sauntered into the gathering, gazing around at all the different coats and patterns and clans and.. there were so many cats that the air seemed similar to what would it would be like in a drought, and the warmth of so many different beings situated in one space heated up her pelt as if she had slept in the sun for moons. She tried to find a group of apprentices to talk to, but her brain was overloaded. She was a lot less confident now that she had actually entered the clearing. It seemed she would never get used to gatherings, but she could at least try to have fun.

"Hey," She tried to mew calmly, approaching some apprentices (heatherpaw and fernpaw), "This your first gathering?"

Bonestrike followed Magpiestar into the gathering area. The pure white tom didn't really feel like interacting with the others tonight, so he decided to sit closer to his own clan without much worry.

Shadowleaf followed Blizzardstar in, with her head held high. She was growing more and more used to this whole clan thing, and she was actually looking forward to each gathering even if there were high tensions sometimes. The cold of these nights didn't really effect her since she was used to the harsh winters of the mountains, though prey was always an issue. The gray and white warrior sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Birchpaw bound into the clearing, her head bustling with questions. She wanted to ask how RiverClan cats swam and if WindClan could outrun monsters or if SkyClan could see StarClan from their tall trees. However... She also wanted to seem laid back and not a furbrained apprentice. She slowed her gait and strutted to a clear spot, settling down.

Russetpaw and Patchpaw both walked behind Magpiestar. They sat down conversing with each other.

Fernpaw turned to the newcomer and her expression brightened even more, giving an excited hop. "Hi, there! Yep, this is my very first Gathering ever, and it's just so exciting! There are so many cats!"

"But that's what makes this place so frightening and overwhelming..." Heatherpaw mewed softly. She seemed to be the exact opposite of Fernpaw, looking rather timid and shy as she averted her gaze from the apprentice.
