Embarrassed and in pain (Closed for a med cat)

Curlypaw dashed into camp, relieved to finally be away from Willowpaw and Crowpaw. However, that relief was dulled by the fact that there was a painful ringing in her head, she couldn't hear anything else, and there was a painful scratch on her side. As much as she hated to admit it, it was obvious that she needed a medicine cat to help her. Fur still warm and still feeling as if she was dreaming, the young apprentice dizzily padded into the medicine cat den. She wanted this to be over as soon as possible. She wasn't sure how long she could take hearing nothing but something that sounded like claws scraping stone. Breathlessly, she spoke, not even hearing her own words.
"Honeydrop? Roaringpaw? I need help!"

Roaringpaw padded over to her, emerging from the back of the den where the scent of herbs wafted into the air. The tiny black tom took one look at her wounds and gave her a sympathetic look. "That looks like it hurts," he meowed with friendliness. When Curlypaw didn't register her words, Roaringpaw's face twisted into concern. That wasn't good. Going over to her side, the medicine cat apprentice used his tail to guide her to a vacant nest, letting her sit but not lie down quite yet. She could have a concussion, so giving her poppy seeds was too risky to feed her.

Once she was settled in the nest, Roaringpaw next grabbed some dock and oak leaves to chew into a pulp and spread on her wound. He didn't put anything on to make sure it's not rubbed away because he would be able to keep watch on the poultice tonight. The tiny tom decided to try to communicate with her, meowing loudly and slowly to see if she understood him. "Okay Curlypaw, you might have a concussion so you're going to have to stay the night and little bit of the morning tomorrow to make sure your head's fine. We don't want you to get any permanent brain damage, so please stay until we clear you. For now, you should try to get some rest." If she didn't understand his words, his tail guiding her to lie down in the moss would do the trick. At sunhigh tomorrow, it was most likely that Curlypaw would be all healed.

Curlypaw let Roaringpaw lead her to a nest. She trusted him to help her just like he would help any clanmate, no more and no less. Though she had no idea what he was saying, he was probably being helpful. Actual helpful, not the kind the two apprentices were thinking they were being before. Though he spread a poultice over her wound, she noticed she didn't take anything for her head, because how would he know? Hoping she didn't sound weird, she spoke again.
"Thanks. There is a loud ringing in my head, and I can't hear you say," the gray she-cat said honestly.

OOC: Don't worry, I know that she's got Tinnitus but Roaringpaw has no way of really knowing yet since it's rare and concussions are more commonXD

Roaringpaw nodded, opening his mouth to say something reassuring but closing it when he thought twice. There was nothing he could give her for her head, for concussions cannot be treated with medicine because that could make things worse for her state of mind in the aftermath. All she could do was sleep it off, and when she can hear he would instruct her to not do anything physically or mentally taxing for the rest of tomorrow when he lets her go from the medicine cat den. Hopefully she would follow the advice, but who knows.

The medicine cat apprentice frowned in concentration. He had to take all precautions since he wasn't 100% certain what was going on with her, but hopefully Honeydrop would help him discern for certain what was going on in her head.

Curlypaw sighed and laid her head down. She was pretty sure that Roaringpaw wanted her to rest. Silently, she prayed that StarClan would stop the ringing in her head so that she actually fall asleep.
