Silentstorm groaned as he rose to his paws once more, wincing in pain. Pushing the pain to the back of his mind, he faced the creature once more, breathing hard. He once more reared up on his hind paws, and struck both front paws down on the badgers head, hard. He let out a low hiss as he began trying to push the disoriented creature out of their territory.

Silentstorm used Upright Lock on Badger dealing 14 HP and 25 SP

IC: The badger snarled and struck the older cat one last time, letting out a triumphant growl as the cat fell before it rounded on the red tabby.

"Stay away from him!" Rowanpaw let out a scream and raced at the badger, hissing and spitting as he landed on it's back and began ripping at it's head and neck furiously, hoping to scare it off.

Rowanpaw used Leap-And-Hold, dealing 6 damage and using 10 SP. This move is in effect for one turn.

Silentstorm was just about to attack once more, when the badger struck again. This time his breath was knocked completely out of him and he lay on the ground desperately gasping for breath. As soon as he regained his breath, he attempted to rise to his paws, which wouldn't do what he told them to do. Groaning he lifted his head to look at Rowanpaw. "Drive it out. It shouldn't be hard now. It's getting tired." He grunted with effort. His mind was swimming in dizziness and he struggled to stay awake. He had to stay awake to assure his apprentice could drive it off safely. If he couldn't, he would stay to distract it while Rowanpaw went for help.

Rowanpaw nodded and planted his feet, hissing softly. He took a step forward, the badger took a step back. He could see it beginning to tire out and he doubled his efforts, fluffing his fur up and baring his teeth, his green eyes narrowed.
It turned and started to run. The young tom followed, yowling and chattering angrily and nipping at it's heels.


The badger was bewildered by the turn of events. This little creature was suddenly twice it's size and approaching menacingly. For the first time in it's life, it felt a twinge of fear in the back of it's mind.

It shook it's head, swinging it back and forth violently as the little monster stepped closer. The badger snorted and turned, thundering through the undergrowth, but the little creature followed him. It grumbled in annoyance and ran faster.
The red creature stopped, but the badger kept going. It needed somewhere to rest and nurse it's wounded pride.


Rowanpaw stood there, hissing, until the badger was out of sight. Then he turned and ran back to his mentor anxiously, nudging him. "It's gone. I chased it off."
