Ready To Begin? [Emberpaw]

The morning had just begun, the air felt fresh and crisp. The small breeze made Cloverleaf felt refreshed she let out a purr as she glanced towards her son who just had become her own apprentice. "You excited to begin?" The she-cat asked her son with eager, she wasn't going to be easy on him she wanted to make sure that Emberpaw knew that the ways of a warrior was tough and if you don't becareful your life could be very short.

Emberpaw nodded enthusiastically--he had been ready to begin training for ages! He had been surprised that Cloverleaf was made his mentor, and suspected that it was at least partially because he was blind that Crowstar had made that choice. The prickly apprentice was offended by the idea that Crowstar thought he couldn't handle having any other warrior as his mentor, but he had quickly turned that anger into determination--he was going to show everyone that he didn't need looking after, and that he could be a great warrior just like any of his clan-mates. So, he was greeting this first day of training with confidence. "Yes. lets go!" He mewed, jumping to his paws, "Where are we going first? I want to learn how to fight!" After all, every great warrior had to be able to defend their clan, and the stories about the great, blind warrior he always heard as a kit always seemed to involve the warrior winning a battle of some kind.
