April's Gathering 2017

Hazeflight didn't want to go, but she didn't want to stay either. The gathering meant socialising, or watching Hollypaw talk to her father. It drove her insane being unable to talk to her daughter and not knowing how her life was going, it also drove her crazy that she had not seen Badgerpaw in so long. All her children seemed to be leaving her, fist Wolffang, then Puddlepaw and now Badgerpaw. Maybe the tom had been gone long before the others, but she would never know. Hazeflight looked backwards at the way they had come, she wanted to leave already, but camp was just as bad-- maybe worse.

The silver warrior slowly joined her clan, noting that she wasn't the only one who didn't want to be here. Many of the other cats seemed to hate it, more than likely from what they had witnessed last time. The image haunted her, but Bear was gone, along with her children.

All of Sombra's cat were there because she is completely drained of energy and too tired to make a decent post.

IC: Otterleap peered at clearing, satisfied at they were first. He sat next to his mate, tail curling possessively around her as he waited for the other clans to come. He was to report everything to Ivyfall later, she was staying in camp to help look after the many kits.

Frogjaw yawned with his jaws shut as he followed by his mate's side. Nudged Otterleap teasing for his possessiveness as he sat next to Tawnystorm.

Nutpaw nodded to Finchpaw understandingly, hoping Ospreypaw's words had calmed her down. She realized some cat was probably either attacked or ran in wounded at the last gathering, which would be a traumatic experience to say the least. She looked around and saw another clan arrive, smelling of pine trees and swamps.
"Hey, what clan is that? ShadowClan?" Nutpaw asked she still had only ever seen RiverClan and WindClan cats, but she knew where ShadowClan lived from Dawnsong.

Larksong had been sticking close to her father during the trip to the Fourtrees, very much aware his nervousness in having to led ShadowClan to a gathering already. As they entered the clearing and drew closer to the Great Rock, she allowed herself to brush her cheek against him in a small vote of confidence before she was forced to split away and allow him to take Leopardstar's spot for the night. After taking a few steps away, she halted to watch Magpiewing hop onto the rock, a small flicker of pride in her chest before she jumped as fur suddenly brushed against her. "Gah!" she gasped, turning only to see Smokestripe staring at her, having completely missed the tom sneaking up on her.

"He is going to do fine," the gray warrior meowed as he glanced up to stare at their deputy, before giving Larksong a small purr. "Things have been a bit at ease lately...I'm sure this gathering will go fine," he said as he turned and motioned for the tortoiseshell to follow him to their normal spot within the clearing. As he settled down, he allowed his gaze to flicker across the gathering of cats. Speaking of things being at ease, it was easy to tell that most of the tension between WindClan and RiverClan were gone and...His ears flickered down as something caught his attention, quickly leaning over to Larksong. "Hey, Larksong...Do you recognize the she-cat at the base of the rock?"

"Hm?" Larksong had been to focused on keeping her attention on her father, her ears flickering lazily as she just barely caught her friend's words. "She-cat? What, do you mean Ivyfall or...?" she drifted off as she followed Smokestripe's attention, her eyes narrowing as she caught the site of the silver she-cat with hints of brown sitting near where the deputies normally sat. It wasn't a she-cat she recognized at all but studying her, it was easy to tell from her lithe form what Clan she belonged to. "I...No, I don't recognize her but she looks like a WindClan cat," she admitted before her ears perked up and the meaning of what the she-cat sitting there meant. "Wait, did something happen to Smokepelt?"

"I guess we will find out when the Gathering starts..."

Jaypaw smiled at Laurelpaw when she was answering his questions. Windclan seemed like good place and the idea of eating a delicious bunny wasn't so bad but he liked more his own clan. He loved swimming in the river and catching fishes.
The gray-blueish tom noticed Nectarpaw approaching them, so Jaypaw distracted himself from Laurel to Nectar. "Hi. I'm Jaypaw" He purred with a happy tone because he was meeting some new cats. He turned back his sight to Laurelpaw, who was smiling at him. "Windclan sounds like a great place too. That flowers you said are very beautiful. Maybe one day I will able to see them but I guess it'll be difficult because it's Windclan territory. You two, as Windclan appretinces, must really like running, right? I'm not a good runner because I don't like too much but I do enjoy the breeze in my pelt as much as the water." The Riverclan apprentice glanced at the other tom and meowed a question. "This is your first gathering too?"

Silentstorm and Littlebrook padded into fourtrees behind their new deputy Magpiewing. She knew Magpiewing had to be nervous, StarClan knows she would be, and she sent all her good wishes to him.

IC: Squirrelsong raced into the clearing at the end of the Windclan group, almost slipping onto her scarred face from how fast she was running. Stumbling, she managed to slow down before she did. Just before she sat down her a sudden feeling of cautiousness crossed her mind. Something felt off today, for some reason that she can't place. Looking around in worry, she checked to see if everything was okay. When nothing confirmed her fear, the mute warrior sighed internally and sat down by herself near the stoutest of the Great Oaks. Everything seemed fine, for now.

"Yeah, it's my first gathering. But I've been an apprentice for nearly a moon now," Nectarpaw couldn't help but add on the last part, then continued, "I'm a pretty good runner. I like the thrill of chasing rabbits more than the suspense of catching rodents. What's swimming like? It sounds wet and cold." Nectarpaw was aware his voice was speedy and overly excited, like a kit just meeting their clan leader for the first time. But it was his first gathering, being excited was one of the side effects.

Mudfoot followed ShadowClan into the gathering and picked up the pace so that he was able to be near Littlebrook. Slowing his pace, the tom stood next to the she-cat with a his usual soft smile on his face. "Hello Littlebrook, Silentstorm," he mewed. It seemed as though most of the clans had arrived already, and he hoped that the night would get started soon.

Batpaw trotted worried like one of the last ones of his clan to reach the meeting. He totally forgot that it was today and he had to hurry to arrive in time. The apprentice was trying to recover his breath when he saw a black little she-cat that he knew. The dark tom approached her and touched her friendly with her tail, catching her attention . "Hi, Tinypaw. The gathering already started?"

Snakeblaze walked into the gathering. He sat down and waited.

All my kitties showed up cause I'm really lazy right now and don't feel good.

Crowstar led Skyclan into the gathering.

Rippedsky padded in after the leader. He felt strange as he left his mate's side to go take his new place at the base of the rock. Hopefully, the other deputies would be welcoming. To his surprise, Brindlewhisker was also at the base. What happened to Smokepelt? The black and white tom wondered silently. However, he simply dipped his head to the Windclan she-cat without asking questions. They had seen each other last at the battle and he was curious how the clan was faring.

"Greetings, Brindlewhisker. How are you?" Rippedsky meowed with a soft smile, hoping to strike up a conversation.

Hollypaw padded into the clearing, it felt strange to no longer have her father walking beside her. She missed him, but now she'd have a little more freedom.

For once she was excited to be at the gathering. HollypaW had finally a friend to talk to. Yeah, Addergaze was great, but this time it was different. The Bengal She-cat craned her neck to look over the gathered cats, searching for Lynxpaw.

Blurrypaw waltzed into the clearing, his pelt was well groomed and his eyes shone. He couldn't believe he was going to his first gathering. The masked tom gaped in awe as he stared down upon the vast numbers of cats that had crammed themselves into the clearing.

He glanced back at his clan wandering if he could leave them and socialise with apprentices his age. The ton darted off and quickly found himself a group and settled down with them. "Hey, I'm Blurrypaw. Mind if I sit with you?" meowed Blurrypaw. He could fake it as long as he needed to. He didn't need these apprentices' permission to sit with them.
