Hollykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Hollykit padded out of the nursery and took her seat.She looked up at Crowstar,ice blue eyes flashing with excitement,Hollykit could tell this was her ceremony.The she-kit glanced around the familiar SkyClan camp searching for Adderpaw and her friends.I wonder if she'll show up for my ceremony?It would be so cool if she did.Hollykit turned her attention back to Crowstar a smile crossing her face as she thought about the future.

Adderpaw had been lounging in the shade of the apprentices den, and she did little more than rise to a sitting position at her leader's call. "So it's Hollykit's apprentice ceremony already?" She reflected as she watched Hollykit bounce forward eagerly- oh yes she would definitely lose some of her eagerness once she spent the next few moons picking ticks out of the elder's matted fur. Watching Hollykit eagerly scan the clearing, it was easy to tell the young she-cat was searching for Adderpaw, Viperpaw, and Whitepaw- it seemed like she was always searching for the trio nowadays. Meeting Hollykit's eager look with a cool, unreadable stare, Adderpaw gave a simple flick of her ear to acknowledge her approval of the young kit being made an apprentice.

Whitepaw was interrupted in her eating when Crowstar called for a ceremony. She padded over to Adderpaw and sat down. The kit looked stronger and intelligent-er, than the last time she had seen Hollykit. I'm glad some of the kits are starting to get mature than other pesky ones!

Hollykit nodded to Whitepaw and Adderpaw.She twitched her tail before curling it around her dark brown paws.The she-cat yawned,digging her claws into the ground.Hurry up everyone!I'll be elder aged by the time this ceremony starts.

Viperpaw attended the ceremony, because why not.

Magpieclaw poked her head out of her den to watch the ceremony. Weaklings. Hollykit was small now, she reasoned, but with time and practice, she could become a force to be reckoned with. The warrior stayed silent, but looked on with interest.

Tigerblaze trotted in, shaking out his strange pelt and settling beside Magpieclaw. There had been something about her lately, something that made him uneasy, but he brushed it off. Leafstream was so infatuated with this she anyway, and he trusted his brother's judgement.

The tom had been happier since he and Cherrymist had become mates, although nearly the entire clan had been gossiping about them. It had been bound to happen.

His fur relaxed on his muscular shoulders as he glanced towards Hollykit, then Crowstar, awaiting his leader's next words.

Crowstar looked at Hollykit. "Hollykit please come forward."

Hollykit stepped forward.Her expression was emotionless apart from the fire that danced her icey blue eyes.This is my chance to leave the fussing of the nursery,once and for all!

OOC: Damn i wanted Badgerkit to do this .

ooc: I don't know who has apprentices anymore

"Hollykit from this moment on you will be known as Hollypaw. You're mentor will be Magpieclaw." The leader said then jumped down ending the ceremony.

Hollykit,now Hollypaw,stepped forward to touch noses with her mentor,Magpieclaw."Mentor me well,"mewed Hollypaw to Magpieclaw.

Magpieclaw smiled - it was genuine, but had far from good intentions. "Oh I will," she meowed in reply, touching noses. She'd train Hollypaw to be stronger than the others. She'd build up trust with her. After all, she never knew when she might need it.

"You better," Eagleheart had been sitting close by for his daughter's apprentice ceremony and was nearby for their exchange. Personally, he didn't trust any cat to mentor his children and he would certainly take her out on his own like he'd done with Adderpaw. While he approved of Magpieclaw over other cats, he still made sure to have his words come out in a growl. Wouldn't want any cat thinking they could slack off in training his offspring.
To Hollykit he added a little more lightly, "Congratulations. You will make a fine warrior someday."
