The Darkest Of Dawns {DarkClan Takeover}

As the sun crept over the horizon, the morning's fog made everything a reddish haze. It was bitterly cold, overcast skies and whistling wind made the moor seem angry. Soft thunder rumbled, hinting at a storm soon to bring snow or hail with it. However, that would not be the most dangerous thing to arrive at the small corner of moor that sat near the thunderpath. The barn groaned against the wind as the dried grass no longer moved around it, held down by frost. 


 Bat stretched, taking the early start to move newly replaced herbs back to the loft's safety, leaving Pepper's side. After that was done, he sat down to eat a squirrel and get the bitter tang of herbs out his mouth. Lifting his head from the mouse, he scented the strong scent of the twolegplace. His eyes were narrowed, such a strong scent wouldn't be caused by one cat. The tall tom brushed his tail along Pepper's back and then, he stepped out of the barn to investigate.

Dawn signaled the cats to follow. The looming Barn came overhead to greet them. "Midnight where should we go?" she asked the cat that she knew, knew the barn better than her. Listening to her friend's words she announced. "Younger cats go to the back of the barn. Hunters stay at the door and Assasins come with me to go in." She strolled with Midnight by her side to the door . As the door creaked open she whispered. "On the count of three we attack."

"Split the clan in three. One that goes inside, Two that goes at the door and Three that wait at the back in case they can escape." Midnight replied with a nod. Following on she opened the door slightly.

Sleek followed Midnight into the barn, claws unsheathed and hungry for blood. His tail lashed out back and forth, swishing through the white ground. He lifted his tail up when he noticed that he was making too much noise. "Now?" He whispered impatiently, ears twitching with excitement and anger mixed together. Soon he'll hear the crying of those weak barn cats while he drawed blood. He loved to hear the slicing of claws and blood dripping out from his enemy. And it was almost time!

Jaguar awoke with a start,it wasn't just her was it?She could of sworn she had heard the creeking of a door being opened.The tabby cat lifted her head to get a better look,but she saw nothing out of the ordinary.With a sigh Jaguar got to her paw and took a seat beside Bat and Pepper.

OOC: Do you want them to auto win? Or wait for the others fairly?

IC: Midnight frowned at Sleek. "Not yet, not till Dawn says so." she hissed. She took a peek inside and spotted the ceiling had a small hole where a cat could escape. The light of the stars shone down upon three cats. Jaguar, Bat and Pepper. Can't believe that traitor was my mother!

Dawn beckoned the rest of DarkClan with her. She lightly jumped on the roof until she reached a small hole. Escape route! she stood at the hole waiting.

Auto win is fine with me, just a fight without the battle system. After all, the battle system doesn't allow double teaming and this is an ambush on out numbered cats. I think it would be smart to get this done before the holidays.)

Pepper slowly woke, blinking sleep out of her eyes. She laid there for a moment, feeling the uneasiness in the air made her get up and drag herself to Bat's side. "What's going on?" she asked quietly, pressing against him. 


Bat looked at her for a moment, "I don't know, Pepper. But, I think you should stay on guard. Something isn't right." he brushed his tail along her spine and looked around them. That scent again.. 

Sleek glanced at Dawn, getting impatient. His tail was twitching and he logged to feel fresh enemy flesh under his own claws. Just they wait!

OOC:Where would Rustie be, if Midnight is her adopted mother? (also she's long since old enough to be an apprentice)

OOC: DarkClan puts them seperate thinks kin is weak conection. so your're with Dawn.

Dawn dived down the hole landing on Bat and gave him a long wound on the side of his leg. While he was distracted she flipped him over and pinned him down.

Midnight seeing her dive down was the signal. She rushed to her side and pinned Pepper down knowing she was the weakest.

Bat heard a woosh as Dawn jumped down, turning his head just in time to feel his leg get sliced. He let out a hiss of pain and struck his claws harshly across Dawn's face as the stinging wound bled.  

 As Pepper got pinned down, the cripple's heart began to hammer. She was sure that Midnight could hear it. "M-midnight, get off! I don't want to hurt you!" she strained as she tried to roll onto her stomach. It was hard to do such a simple task when you had no control of your hind legs. 

Jaguar watched in horror as the scene unfolded.The she-cat leapt out of her nest,ready to fight.Her tabby fur bristled up and her emerald eyes were wild,these cats were in trouble."Get off them!How dare you filthy cats turn up and attack us!It's Leafbare,are you mad?"she hissed her tail thrashing in anger.

It was time. He sinked his teeth into the nearest cat, Jaguar. The assassin clawed his oppnent madly with unsheathed claws, takings fur from Jaguar's pelt.

Jaguar yowled in pain.The tabby cat leapt up and down trying to shake Sleek off.Eventually she did so,but she was exhausted.The tom may of been smaller,but he was vicious and she admired that.Jaguar turned around to face her opponent,she stared at him intently,waiting for him to do something.Jaguar already knew they had lost the fight.She turned her head to see Midnight attacking Pepper."Midnight,how could you?After all this time...?"she hissed.

Sleek slid off Jaguar's back and landed on the ground. Although his legs were sore, he continued slashing at the she-cat madly. After this battle, I'm gonna have some real scars! Finally, exhausted from the fight, he stepped backwards. The tom was panting hard and blood dripped from his tail. By they ha won, and that was all they needed. The look on Midnight's eyes told him Kaguar was the traitor, no matter if they were kin. "We have won, go away!" He rasped. There was a bad cut on his throat but he didn't care. Winning was all that it matters.

Dawn nodded at Sleek. "Good Job." Then she turned to look at Bat. "You are coming with us."

Midnight ducked her head in shame. "Sorry... Mum." As she sliced at Pepper's legs and headed over to stand with Dawn. She helped escort the bigger black tom to the doors of the barn.
