Bouncekit heard Morningfog, mouth gaping slightly as she mentioned peacetime. What, are clans always at war? Bouncekit wondered. He stepped lightly around her, peeking through her hind legs to see Greygaze. He barely went up past her paws. A small, calm smile covered his muzzle as he saw the grey queen.

Ospreykit turned his head to Greygaze,shrugged and turned back to Yellowkit.He smiled happily glad that he wanted to play too.Again,he shrugged.He sat himself down for a moment and thought,flicking his stumpy tail subconsciously."Maybe we could play tag?"he meowed"Do you wanna play too,Bouncekit?"

"Shall we go?" She asked Morningfog. The sun was still high in the sky, perhaps the snow had dried up. I just hate snow!

She nodded, nudging Ospreykit along and beckoning for the rest to follow. "Maybe you'll get to hunt for minnows. If there are any.." She purred, padding along. Morningfog couldn't begin to express how much she owed her kits. Their bright and affectionate attitudes were helping her through the hardest thing she ever had to face. She could only offer her ti e and comfort in return.

Ospreykit jumped up and bounded after Morningfog,excitement bubbling up inside of him."Really?We could hunt?!It'll be so much fun!"he mewed jumping up and down.The little tom raced between Greygaze and Morningfog's legs happily,his stumpy tail held up in the air.Despite his mother's death he had quickly got himself together and refused to let anything or anyone hold him back.

"Alright, but hunting won't be as easy as you think, Ospreykit!" Greygaze teased. She herself had failed many times training with Fracturedhawk about hunting. The grey tabby followed Morningfog out camp with the kits between them. The snow isn't as thick as before! She thought to herself, eyeing the whiteness on the ground. New-Leaf must be coming here soon!

Bouncekit nodded calmly, padding after Ospreykit. The little feline was always full of energy. He groomed a paw, halting, before resuming. His full, thick, golden-orange coat was like a stream of amber. He chased after Ospreykit, ears perking for Greygaze's remark. To this, he also nodded.

Applekit bounded happily after Bouncekit and Ospreykit, trying to catch up. "It's about time we explore, it's getting cramped in the nursery!" He was determined to savor their time outside of the camp. "Let's see who can catch the most prey!" He mewed, unaware of the skill required to hunt and the affect of the weather on how much prey would be available.

Palekit trotted after the others, looking around with wide, excited eyes. She didn't say anything, too busy observing every crevice in their surroundings that she could find.

"Wait, Morningfog!" Greygaze shouted towards the she-cat, hoping not to scare all the prey off. She turned around and met Applekit and Palekit bounding after them. "Go wth us the next time, it's too dangerous for kits to be out of camp with no warriors or apprentices guarding them. Imagine what would happen if a fox strayed near out camp!" She pointed with her snout towards one of the empty fox burrows. "Badgers are even more terrifying, they can swat you away like ants!" Fluffing out her fur to look like an badger. "Next time, be careful!" Leadig with her tail towards Morningfog with the two other kits, Bouncekit and Ospreykit.

Yellowkit turned to her mother. It was the time to went back home into the nursery, because there were some kits which will soon be an apprentices. River was tempting, but feeling of upcoming ceremony was stronger and better. "I will be an apprentice soon," he said to himself. Then he followed older cats.

Ospreykit looked at Greygaze challengingly,his bright blue eyes searching her to see if she was lying."Sure,sure.Fish can't be that hard to catch,they've only got fishbrains."he meowed sticking his nose in the air and trotting after Morningfog.the little tom was eager to explore and would often race ahead then hear a strange noise and dart back to his mother.There he would cower behind her until he was sure it was okay,before resuming his eagerness with his nose held high.

Bouncekit trotted along awkwardly. He nodded, although anxiety pooled around him. I can't be an apprentice! I can't hurt a fly, he thought. He shuffled behind Ospreykit, the brownish tom squeaking to the others. He opened his mouth to speak, but it bugged him to do so. He shut his maw, feeling relieved. He stepped up to Greygaze, concurring silently with her words. He sat down, looking at Ospreykit, Palekit, and Applekit. His tail curled around his golden base.
