When Ospreys leave the nest[open]

Shinnykit gasped and started fleeing, until she tumbled in the snow and started wrigling her paws in the air. "Roarrt, I am Snowy, the snow monster!" she said and started throwing flakes over Ospreykit, grinning herself. Soon enough they were both nearly completly white.

"Lil' Smokekit, awww... At least I am not so close to being called granpa Smokeface, granny Tawnystorm!" he chuckled, making her space to sit down in the clump of reeds. It was nice to share some time with her... "Aspenpaw has been doing well, by the way." he mewed, thinking of the now more experienced she-cat.

"Well, I don't have grandkits yet!" Tawnystorm laughed, giving Smokeface a playful nudge. She sat down in the space the tom had cleared for her, giving a small nod of appreciation. "That's good to hear, about Aspenpaw. She's an awfully stubborn one! I do wish she would be less....selfish at times, but I'm proud of her."

Ospreykit chuckled and bounded forward ready to attack Snowy the vicious snow monster.He let out a hiss as a ball of snow hit him in the face and he jumped up in fright."Hey!"Ospreykit yowled preparing a snowball to throw at Shinnykit.The tom shook out his fur and bundled the makeshift ball into his paw then pegged it at the unsuspecting Shinnykit.The snowball hit her right in the head and Ospreykit laughed so hard he fell onto his back,his legs flailing around in the air.Being a kit was so much fun.
