Making his way over to the sleeping apprentice, Mudfoot prodded at Hazepaw's side. "Wake up, it's time for your assessment," the tom meowed softly and turned around, exiting the dark apprentice den. The sun was just beginning to rise and the cold night still clung to the air.

Hazepaw blinked open her eyes she looked at her mentor questioningly but didn't utter a word.The apprentice stretched gave her pelt a swift lick before jumping out of her nest and trotting over to her mentor.

Hazepaw slowed to a walk as she reached Mudfoot's side."What we doing to day?"she meowed expectantly.She hoped it would be something good.
