Patrol(open)

Darkpaw gave a tiny hiss and pluck the last thorn out. "Alright then, don't scare off all the prey!" She lift her nose to try finding some prey but caught the scent of Windclan. "I smell Windclan, we're close to their territory. Should we check it out?

OOC:This topic was made before the battle.Hazepaw's in the medicine cat den right now.Sorry I'm not mod it's confusing though.

Striding along at his usual pace and scenting the air, Mousefang's attitude grew serious. He wasn't about to mess with another clan with two apprentices on his paws. Ordinarily he'd go and bother them, but not with two unusually aggressive and obnoxious she-cats tagging along behind him. He wasn't going to be responsible for their near-deaths if he could avoid it. Besides, Tigerflower would be mad if he went off and let her precious daughter go spill her own blood all over the Thunderpath. "We should move along. WindClan's been weirdly aggressive lately and we're not equipped to deal with them as we are." Mousefang meowed plainly, moving on. He lifted his nose to see just how strong the scent was. A hint of nervousness made his tail twitch at the tip.

"Let's check Riverclan then!" Darkpaw bounded away before Mousefang could reply. "FISHHHHHH" She yowled.

OOC: Mousefang is like Longtail.

Hazepaw sighed.With Darkpaw being the way she was there would be no prey for miles."Darkpaw,the prey"she hissed her voice low.She scented the air WindClan seemed close her ears flickered backwards."Disloyal flea-pelts"she muttered.

"Oh yeah" She whispered, forgoting to lower her voice a second agin while screaming "fish"
Darkpaw was sure she could make out Hazepaw saying something about fleas but decided to keep on going. Who cares about fleas?

"We don't even share a border with them!" The warrior called after her, slightly raising his own voice in exasperation. What was she going to do, charge across the forest to attack a random RiverClan patrol? Mousefang rolled his eyes. She could go off wherever, he didn't care. He glanced back at Hazepaw, amusement mixed with annoyance on his face. "She'll get lost out here if she keeps on like that." The next area they would be approaching was Fourtrees. Hopefully they wouldn't get the bright idea to go messing about the place. It was sacred, after all.

Hazepaw laughed.Darkpaw was such a mouse-brain."No kidding,"she meowed.Hazepaw's ears swivelled as she walked and was constantly scenting the air.Her eyes brightened as she saw four trees.The huge oaks stretched up into and tall rock glistened in the sun.No wonder it was sacred.

Darkpaw went back to where Hazepaw and Mousefang were and padded silently now. She didn't want to scare away any prey again. As they went closer and closer to fourtrees, she could smell all the faint scents from different clans in the last gathering. She also remembered the time Lionfur got attacked. "Why are we at fourtrees, Mousefang?" He was the warrior here, he should know.

"Because it's along the patrol route." He answered plainly. "Besides, everyone should know where it is and how to get there. It's where we meet every full moon. Haven't you been to a Gathering yet?" Mousefang asked, not sure whether either of the two apprentices had been there before. His gaze traced the Great Rock in the center. He stayed on ShadowClan land and admired from afar, remembering the striking image of the five leaders standing atop the rock and speaking with more power than he'd ever heard from any cat in his life. He would be up there one day, he could practically taste it.

"I have.Well,once.It's pretty amazing but it does stink a little." Hazepaw meowed.She looked at tall rock and remembered the viciousness of the last gathering.The truce seemed to be falling apart in her opinion.

"Yes, I have been there once" She replied. "Besides, I'm hungry, can we stop for a few voles for us and the clan?" Darkpaw said, her belly growling with hunger.

He grinned at Darkpaw, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "If you can catch it, you can have it. That's assuming you haven't made enough noise to scare off all the prey from here to Highstones." Mousefang teased. It would be best to bring something back anyway. Maybe they would actually accomplish something... or maybe not.

Hazepaw grinned.Though she wasn't hungry they might as well bring something back."Doubt she hasn't scared them all off,but we might as well try..."The silver apprentice sat down grooming herself quickly and giving the air a quick scent.

Darkpaw had already located her prey under a bush. She dropped into a hunting crouch and dived into the bush. After a few moments, the leaves rustled loudly and Darkpaw got out with a tiny vole in her jaws.
