Shatteredkit, Greykit, and Silentkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"You two have both reached the age of six moons," Fishstar meowed, "and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Shatteredpaw and Greypaw. Shatteredpaw, you mentor shall be Otterleap. Greypaw, your mentor shall be Fracturedhawk. I trust that they will teach you all that they know."

Otterleap dipped his head to show he acknowledged the leader's words before turning to face his newly appointed apprentice, Shatteredpaw. He approached the kit with a little bounce in his step, happy to be a mentor for the first time. "Trust me, I will make you the greatest warrior this clan has seen."

Shatteredpaw glanced back at Otterleap, a goofy smile covering his muzzle. "Shatteredpaw..." He tested his new name. Then looking to Otterleap again, he acknowledged his words. "Thank you." He said simply, but was truly excited to start training.
