Dawnkit, Shatteredkit, and Frogkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardfang jumped to the top of the Jaggedrock, once more in place of Thrushstar. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" It was time for a ceremony.

OOC: Can Shatteredkit be added in?

IC: Frostwhisper swiftly padded out of the nursery and joined the clan at the jaggedrock. She looked back to make sure her kit was coming.

Shatteredkit slowly trailed behind his mother, not saying a word as he sat down next to her. The kit hadn't spoken yet, but he was definitely ready to become an apprentice. He looked up at the deputy with silent, cold, hard blue eyes.

OOC: AND FROGKIT! She's so overdue

IC: Her ear flicked at the call and she started out of her den, embarrassed by her loneliness and blah blah blah she just wanted to be come an Apprentice!

OOC2: Shortness

Danwkit crawled out of the nursery, and sat down at the edge of the crowd, looking up at Leopardfang.

Leopardfang looked down at the gathered Clan and called out again, gaining their full attention. " Dawnkit, Shatteredkit, and Frogkit, please step forward." He meowed, going over who would be a good fit to mentor these kits.

OOC: Bloom, does Frostwhisper have an apprentice already? We're sort of short on mentors atm and I'm trying not to double up too many people.

Rainfire padded into the clearing, sensing his friend's gaze on his ginger and black pelt he let out a purr. "An apprentice already!" He muttered to himself proud of the quiet Shatteredkit.

Dawnkit nearly jumped around out of excitement, but she remained calm. Then the nervousness returned to her, she didn't really like being in front of so many cats. The light colored kit quietly moved to the front.

Nightpaw walked out of the apprentices den and sat down next to the crowd. He looked over at the 3 anxious kits and thought, Wow, new apprentices! I wonder who their mentors will be?

She gingerly placed her paw up, as if a bomb would explode if she went any further. No matter how much pride was within her, it was nearly a hardship since she was also extremely shy. But the issue was she would already be standing out since some other kit already stepped forward. She she quickly stomped her other paw onto the sandy ground, and waited patiently for the ShadowClan deputy to continue her apprentice ceremony.

Shatteredkit looked over at his mom when his name was called. She nodded for him to go forward, and so he did. The runt padded up next to the two other kits and stared quietly up at Leopardfang with frightening, icy blue eyes. 

Frostwhisper smiled as her son got ready to be made an apprentice. Her fluffy white tail flicked in happiness and pride.

OOC: Frostwhisper does not have an apprentice yet.

He glanced down at the kits before continuing. "We gather here to make these kits a apprentices. Dawnkit, Shatteredkit, and Frogkit, from this day until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Dawnpaw, Shatteredpaw, and Frogpaw. Your mentors shall be myself, Rainfire, and Frostwhisper, respectively." He meowed, looking over the warriors as he spoke their names. He jumped from the rock and approached Dawnpaw, touching noses before turning away and retreating to the warriors' den.

OOC: Dawnpaw's mentor is Leopardfang, Shatteredpaw's mentor is Rainfire, and Frogpaw's mentor is Frostwhisper.

Rainfire's tail curled over in delight, nosing his way through the crowd he touched noses with his first apprentice. "I'm glad you're my first apprentice." He mewed as he exhaled, his nerves had vanished.

Shatteredpaw turned to look at Rainfire as he approached. Silently, the black and white tom touched noses with him and nodded without a word. The new apprentice was still kit-sized, and he hoped he would grow bigger. The poor runt.
