A Defensive Strategy [Open Patrol]

Waspstep decided he was going to make Leopardfang's life a little easier and lead a patrol around the border. The warrior sat near the entrance of camp waiting on others who were interested to join him, and then they would be off.

Littlebrook padded out of the warriors den, blinking sleep from her eyes, when she noticed Waspstep sitting near the entrance. She assumed he was trying to start a patrol and smiled as she made her way to him. "Patrol?" She asked. "If so, mind if I join you?" She meowed, flicking her brown bi-colored tail happily.

Mudfoot padded over to his kit purring softly. "Mind if I join too?" he meowed with a smile upon his muzzle. He was happy to help the clan in any way and a patrol sounded like a good way to start off the day.

Mousepaw scampered across the camp, thinking for a second that he had woken too late to catch the patrol and that he was going to be in huge trouble with the warriors for not pulling his weight. Relief flickered in his eyes when he saw that another patrol was forming, and he hurried over without saying a word. He gave an obligatory dip of his head to Mudfoot before sitting and wrapping his tail around his paws. Mousepaw had jerked wake and was still rather groggy.

Hazepaw padded into camp,she never did anything it seemed.Hazepaw was glad to see a patrol and quickly sat with the others."You don't mind if I join?"she mewed.

Waspstep looked at the warriors and apprentices that decided to join him. He let out a small purr before nodding to them all. "You can all join. And I think that will give us plenty for this patrol. Let's get going then." The young warrior turned and lead the group out of the camp.

Hazepaw padded along beside Waspstep glancing around searching for prey.The young apprentice hadn't seen Adderfur in awhile where was he?Infact the more she thought about it the more she realised how little she'd seen him.Mousepaw was a little odd the other day when she'd asked him where Adderfur was.Did Mousepaw know something she didn't know,Hazepaw doubted it.The silver Bengal had been day dreaming and had soon fallen behind the other cats.The lithe she-cat bounded up to the rest of the patrol."Hey...,Wait up!"She panted.The cat kept pace with her clan constantly smelling the air but Adderfur and how he just disappeared remained on her mind.Hazepaw couldn't stop thinking about where her mentor had got to and it was making it hard to concentrate.Finally the apprentice burst out"Where is Adderfur have any of you seen him?!"
