Stormshadow stood. "You think this is guaranteed. But look around! You are outnumbered!" he yowled. He looked around. He saw a dark forest warrior (Zeno). He ran over and tackled the warrior.

Stormshadow used Run and Tackle on Zeno, dealing 20 damage and costing 10 stamina.

All of the air was knocked out of Daisypatch's lungs as two cats came barreling into her. A young, exiled ShadowClan warrior, and the ex-deputy of ThunderClan. Frozenflame's initial hit was devastating to her ribs, which nearly cracked under the pressure, but the added weight of Ferretshine caused her the bones to snap. A sharp pain and hot sensation quickly filled her belly, causing her to scream out in pain.

The white and ginger she-cat's cry was cut off when her throat filled with a burning liquid. She sputtered up blood and collapsed to the ground, gasping for air when blood didn't fill her throat. Her blue eyes narrowed and darted around quickly, looking at the two attackers with a plea for help in her eyes. She continued choking, coughing, and scrambling at the ground in a panic. Her legs grew weaker by the moment and she clawed at the ground until her claws nearly bled. Her head began to grow light as a result of the severe internal bleeding and the lack of oxygen.

Daisypatch could feel the life draining from her body. So this was how she was going to die. Regret filled her thoughts as images of her life until now flashed through her mind. Rowancloud and Ivorypaw. Her dear siblings. Ivorypaw had passed too young, and they all had time to mourn, but the warrior could never forgive herself for not seeing her brother one last time. And her mother. What had happened to the she-cat? Upon her return she found her father alone, blind, and sulking about the past. He wouldn't dare speak of her mother, not after "that happened".

And then she thought of Lightfoot. The blind old tom who loved and raised her. She knew he could never forgive her for siding with the Dark Forest. Yet she prayed. Prayed to anyone that he would still see her as a silly, cute, young apprentice who loved and respected her father so much. It was painful, thinking about how much she must have hurt him, even if she could only think about it for a few short seconds before everything started to grow dark.

No, no, no! She couldn't leave. Not now. She still had so much to look forward to. Daisypatch had only just given birth to two beautiful kits. She had barely seen them walk! Sunkit, Sandkit... What would happen to them? How could they live without their mother? Even if she was a traitorous she-cat, she couldn't imagine leaving them alone. Even their father had been here, fighting for the Dark Forest's cause. Would he make it out alive? Would he protect their two kits?

What felt like a lifetime relived to her was only a few short seconds to the rest of the gathering. Her eyes filled with red and her vision grew dark as blood trailed out of her mouth and onto the grass at her paws. A pool surrounded her, coating her white fur. Without even a final breath, her head fell limp and the tension in her muscles was let loose. Daisypatch was dead.

Poppysong was ready to retaliate, to try further and further to convince Crowstar to see StarClan's side once again. But as he jumped down and pressed his face into her fur, she froze in shock. He kept apologizing, repeating "I'm sorry," into her tri-coloured fur with a tone of sadness and regret.

The she-cat didn't move. She was astounded. Whatever that golden she-cat had said to the leader must have made an impact to change his thoughts so quickly. Her heart quickened as the tom stood nearly crying, pressed against her. What could she say in a moment like this? She never expected this. The tom was stubborn, but how could he stand here, apologizing for his choice within seconds of her shouting at him.

As she opened her mouth to ask him what exactly the golden cat had said to him, a familiar gray tom appeared before them. His many scars, and intense blue eyes were all to knowable. "F-F-" she stuttered, staring up at the tom with wonder and melancholy. "Father!" He was here! Breezestar was really here! She resisted the urge to run up to the old leader, to nuzzle him and tell her all about her life since he passed, but with Crowstar hiding himself beside her, she held back and just watched.

Poppysong smiled at his words. If anyone could fully change her mentor's mind, it was Breezestar. Despite all that had happened, she knew Crowstar respected him more than any other cat in the clans.

Berrythorn let out a screech as the leopard-pelted deputy came bolting forward and knocked into her. She tumbled to the side, rolling a bit away from the tom. After a second to catch herself, the dead she-cat jumped to her paws and hissed at Leopardfang. Furious, she leaped forward onto his back, pining him. While he was down, she began slicing at his back with unsheathed claws.

Berrythorn used Leap and Hold, dealing 22 damage and costing 10 stamina. Leopardfang is stunned for 1 turn.

The Dark Forest medicine cat had kept to the sides for the majority of the battle, as Scorchfrost came crashing down onto her, she was forced into the fray. "What honour you have," Greenleaf spat at the tom. After climbing out from under his weight, she reared up on her hind legs and pummeled his face with her front paws.

Greenleaf used Upright Front Paws, dealing 24 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Sandstrike nearly wanted to laugh as Aspenstripe ran up to her and slashed at her face. She felt blood seep across her face, and into her eyes. She hadn't been expecting such a forward attack, but she did like their ferocity. "You know, the last time I fought a cat, he did that same move. Unfortunately for him, he didn't last very long. Maybe you and him will have that in common."

Without any sign, the sandy she-cat lashed forward in rapid succession, claws unsheathed. Aspenstripe wouldn't have time to react.

Thicketpaw hissed as a young she-cat yanked on his tail and pulled him down off his paws. His head bashed against the ground hard, leaving him disoriented and dizzy.

Darkwing stood by with Maplepaw, watching with wary eyes as Crowstar was approached by a golden she-cat. The tom bared his fangs at her as she spoke of the Dark Forest's little secret. He was even more angered as Maplepaw lowered her head and spoke honestly about Breezestar's murderer.

Things turned sour quickly. Crowstar left his perch to comfort himself in a young warrior's fur, and Breezestar's appearance only made things worse. How dare he leave the Dark Forest so easily?! Anger bubbling up inside of him, Darkwing leaped off of the rock and jumped towards the black leader with his paws outstretched. "Traitor!"

Blizzardshine looked at the fight between Scorchfrost and Greenleaf, feeling her heart skip a beat. She took a deep breath, she never was the best at fighting, but she could easily tell that Scorchfrost wasn’t going to win this battle if he fought alone.

The usually cheerful and pacific cat immediately started to run at full speed towards the Dark Forest cat, taking advantage of her focus on the leader of her rebel group, it was time to fulfill the promise she had made to him and to StarClan. She hissed loudly right before tackling the she-cat with all her strength “I’m sorry, but I won’t let you harm a friend”.

Blizzardshine used Run-and-tackle on Greenleaf, dealing 17 damage (+5 because she wasn’t focused on her) and using 10 stamina

This is my chance! The WindClan apprentice immediately took advantage of Thicketpaw’s state to take some distance before rushing towards him as soon as he seemed to recover from her previous move with the intention of knocking him back to the ground. She had to cause as much damage as possible in the smallest amount of time, after all, she knew that this cat was stronger than her and she could be defeated.

Morningpaw hissed at One-Eye, before dragging her brother by the scruff away to the shelter of the bushes. She would've taken on the ghost herself, but she knew the chances of her losing were very high.

Cinderpaw nodded at Snowstorm, before racing back over to the sidelines and hoping to stay away from any cats that would attempts to knock her out.

Frostedgaze turned her head backwards to see Wrenpaw, just laying there. She had heard her name being called. She growled, seeing Owlpaw beside Wrenpaw, knocked out. She was in the middle of a fight, so she'd have to go and see Wrenpaw afterwards. Seeing her friend there, dead, just encouraged her even more to show these Dark Forest mange-pelts where they belonged.

He could hear him. He could hear the voice of his former leader. The black fluffy leader refused to look at his old leader. Now that he knew the truth, he was too ashamed to look at Breezestar. He had failed when he thought he was doing the right thing.. Lead to far astray. He just wanted his clan to be strong, he wanted to be strong, but it seemed no matter what he did, he couldn't do that. He was a pitiful leader. He failed everyone.. no wonder they all left him.

His eyes widen as Breezestar called him Crow. No.. He wasn't some rogue. He never was.. He had always been a clan cat, and would always be one. He wasn't going to give up his clan without a fight. He removed his head from Poppysong's fur. He didn't look at the leader even though he was speaking to him. "No... I have always been a clan cat... My name is Crowstar.." He said his voice still having some sorrow in it.  He knew he couldn't change what he had done... and he knew that he would be resented for it by some.. He just wanted to go back to his camp now but everyone was so wrapped up in battle.

His yellow eyes flicked to the side as soon as he saw someone coming for him, but it was too late since they had already managed to tackle him to the ground. The black fluffy leader landing on the ground with a 'thud'. The leader let out a sharp hiss as his body tingled slightly from the impact. The leader looked up at the cat only to realize it was one of the dark forest cats he fought along side at the last gathering. His yellow eyes narrowed, and Crowstar unsheathed his claws. Using his hind legs he dug his claws down the cats stomach.

Breezeheart growled as she was pulled off of Thrushstar. No! She needed to help her sister. Her blue eyes turned to Ashwing, and she growled at the deputy, throwing a weak slash at her. "No side! I won't let you take my sister from me!" The black warrior growled. She didn't want to fight Ashwing, but she would fight Thrushstar if he kept up his asult against Saltpelt. She wouldn't lose her. She wouldn't let her die.

The windclan warrior progressed towards the Shadowclan leader again. "Leave her alone!" She wailed as she used her front sets of claws and slashed at the Shadowclan leader. Not caring about the wounds she would receive if she kept this up. She had to help her sister. No matter the cost. Even if it would cost her, her life. Saltpelt was always the better cat anyway.

Reedfang looked at the battle around him, his claw itching to join the fray. The brown tabby warrior spotted a dark forest warrior trying to sneak up on someone, but he wouldn't let it. The Riverclan warrior ran over to the cat and slashed at them. His claws digging into the skin, and fur.

Sorrel saw her mate charge off into battle shortly after the battle had started. She hesitated a little bit because of her dislike of giant battles but soon the she-cat followed suit. Raccoonstar growled at the Dark Forest leader and quickly followed after him. She knew she couldn't stop him killing that apprentice, but she could stop him from causing anymore damage along side Dewstar. The gray starry leader, charged after the other dead leader, and tackled him, digging in her sharp claws.

Flameclaw was excited to join the fray soon after it started. The old deputy had always been a fighter, and it always gave her the same rush. She loved it. The ginger cat charged after a dark forest cat ready to sink her claws and teeth into one of them. It would show them for trying to take their clans from them. It also gave her strength knowing her daughter was out there fighting. The former thunderclanw warrior slashed at the Dark Forest warrior with a grin on her muzzle.

Smokefang let out a hiss as she was attacked right from the beginning. The dark forest warrior glared down the she-cat. The smokey warrior leapt at the starclan warrior her claws outstretched, and ready to dig in to the former Shadowclan warrior's pelt. But she didn't. She faked out the other warrior. Smokefang landed and yanked on the cats tail.

She said in response to the Starclan cat. She was tired of being trapped in that dark forest, she was tired of being alone. "That forest that we live in gets pretty lonely." She said in a normal tone. After that the ginger she-cat lashed out her claws going for Nightbird's eyes.

IC: Stormshadow yowled as he was shaken. He was dazed. He couldn't attack, but once he can, this rogue will start regretting things.

Stormshadow is stunned for 2 more turns.

Saltpelt was quick to respond, slipping just out of reach when Thrushstar slashed at her with the strength of a skilled warrior behind him. She knew that one hit would be all it really took for her to go down and deftly avoided being crushed, but she overbalanced in her haste, placing herself at awkward footing. She knew she had to shift her position quick or risk being pinned by his overwhelming strength.

Birchpaw was surprised by the strength of the tom's attack, but he was quick to respond with equal brutality. The tom slammed into the fellow apprentice, forcing him down as he raked his hind claws across Redpaw's belly. He left bloody red welts that oozed blood with satisfaction of a job well done. There was no way that the tom could lose, the Dark Forest was on his side, they'd taught him things that the little apprentice probably couldn't even imagine.

Sunwhisker normally disliked fighting she-cats, his own experience with loss had made him weak towards them, something he was often scolded about, but when Sorrel attacked him, he had no choice. The Dark Forest warrior responded in turn with rearing up and hacking at her pelt to startle her away with pain, not wanting to cause her unnecessary pain.

"This was our forest first, kit!" Lost yowled at Frostedgaze from where she was pinned underneath the she-cat. Her blue eyes glared piercing at the she-cat.

Blossompaw snarled at the three warriors gathered before her, she was wounded but as fierce as ever. The calico stared down the three with resentment and anger. "All three of you against, little ol' me, huh? Should've known you'd be cowards, StarClan kittypets!" She slammed into the first cat she could reach, grappling with Otterlight and tearing into his pelt.

Blackpaw could hear worried, muffled mewls enter his ears, yet he had no strength left in him to wake up. Blackpaw felt the sensation of forlorn, as his muzzle trembled. I'll get up, Blackpaw thought determinedly, I must get up! Blackpaw's eyelids fluttered, and he nearly managed to heave himself to his paws before he buckled, and collapsed. Once again, Blackpaw's once effervescent gaze dwindled to a trickle of hapless hope.

Redpaw looked down at the tom he was fighting. "Do you have no faith in your ancestors?" He saw the absolute determination in Birchpaw's eyes, she oozing red marks in his stomach that melted into his pelt, and the look of satisfaction on his face. He knew he had no choice.
"I'm really sorry, but I can't let you hurt any of my friends, and StarClan. I'll make this fast."
He bit down on Birchpaw's neck, feeling his life ebb away. He felt horrible for what he'd done, but at the same time, he felt almost as if he'd helped.

Redpaw used Killing Bite on Birchpaw, killing Birchpaw and costing 10 stamina

Birchpaw slashed furiously against Redpaw's grip, yowling for anyone to hear him and save him. But it was too late for him, slowly his body went limp and cold as stone. When Redpaw dropped him, he fell onto the ground, his yellow eyes unseeing and blank as his soul left for the murky Dark Forest.

Distantly, a star dimmed it's light in grief. Another soul was lost to the Forest.
