New Moon [Final DF TOPIC]

Muddyfang stared at the lifeless body once more, he saw the eyes of Willowbreeze. He rushed up towards her, his eyes telling more of the story "I-I....I was aiming for another cat....Willowbreeze..." he mewed, closing his eyes.

It had been one moon since Fishstar had last stepped in Fourtrees. One moon since she'd been driven from her Clan and forced to wander outside Clan borders. One moon since a group of heartless heathens had taken control of the forest and tossed StarClan out of the night skies. As the scent of blood mingled with the musk of the four Clans filled her nose again, the RiverClan leader was filled with hatred. She entered the crowded clearing and shouldered several cats aside aggressively her fur prickling and her lip curled. Her sea-green eyes burned with disdain as she glared up at Morningstar's form, standing triumphantly over Thrushstar's limp body. She hadn't been able to arrive in time to assist the ShadowClan leader, but she would not stand by idly anymore.

"Your reign ends today, usurper," she spat venomously, approaching him. "You taint this forest gifted to us by our ancestors with your evils. You have harmed Thrushstar. You have taken my Clan away from me and forced me to scrounge for scraps on the outskirts of this place, and I will not stand for this anymore. You and your rat-dung Clanmates need to leave."

Swiftpaw went and sat down next to her mother and leader. She glared up at Morningstar. "You will perish. I would die if it meant StarClan would return." she growled.

Blossompaw rolled her eyes at Swiftpaw, slinking through the masses to say two little words. "Then die."

The calico tackled the she-cat, clawing at her as she tried to grapple the she-cat to the ground. She wouldn't stand for this defiance against their leader, Morningstar. All these exiled cats had to learn their place, which was below them. They'd fought too hard, lived on the edges of the Dark Forest for moons without light. She refused to go back there again.

Night tackled Blossompaw off of his crush. "Get off of her! You guys have done enough to my friends and family!" he hissed. He glared at the dark forest apprentice. "Back off! Before I do the same as you did to her!" he snarled.

Swiftpaw scrambled up. Her stomach dripped blood. She was about to faint. Those scratches should scar up. She was hurt badly. She didn't know what to do.

As the fight began to outbreak, piercing yowls echoed throughout the night sky. It was terrifying, the atmosphere growing dark and dim as cat turned on cat and blood spilt onto the earth in red swatches. The moon was completely covered then, not a single ray of light falling downwards. That was until a dilute calico broke through the bushes that surrounded the clearing. He was a familiar sight, the former ShadowClan medicine cat, Alderheart. He looked on the clearing with piercing green eyes that glowed with a wisdom that had been lacking in the forest territories for moons. And he wasn't alone, around him were warriors and apprentices that had left on a great journey. And they had returned, returned with two unfamiliar yet familiar faces.

Duskfall, or Dusk as he was known now, stepped out beside him. The brown tom surveying the fight with hardened yellow eyes. It had been so long since he'd walked amongst fellow cats, only Sorrel, his mate, was his company for moons. He locked eyes onto Frostfall, the silver she-cat who was covered in blood with disgust, not knowing whom she was beyond a murderer.

He glanced over to his mate, twining his tail with hers for a second for strength before nodding at Alderheart.

The medicine cat took a step forward in front of his merry group, and yowled for all to hear, beginning a chant.

"We are here, StarClan!"

Duskfall echoed the tom's words.

"We are here, StarClan."

OOC: Join in the chant, StarClan loyal cats.

Blossompaw was about to give Night a taste of her claws when some random tom appeared at the edges of the clearing. He didn't even say anything, looking over wordlessly to his little group of newcomers before chanting together with them. It was weird, and she didn't know how to respond, instead she looked over quizzically to her leader, Morningstar for guidance.

Tawnypaw smiled, and stood up tall. She shouted as loud as she could.
"We are here, StarClan!" It seemed as though this madness was coming to an end - or maybe it was just the beginning. But StarClan would be coming. She knew that.

StarClan? Redpaw had heard about them. They seemed to be the good to the Dark Forest's evil. They seemed like the true owners of this forests. He raised his head proudly and confidently, stepping forward next to his tawny brown aunt, and looked to Hickorypaw and Willowpaw.
"We are here, StarClan!"

IC: A silver tabby she cat with grey tiger tabby stripes and yellow eyes was behind the others. Minnowtail flicked her tail and narrowed her eyes at the Dark Forest cats.

A fiery orangish-yellow tom with unusual blue eyes padded up beside Minnowtail. Summitwind unsheathed his claws and narrowed his eyes in disgust at the Dark Forest cats.

Both Starclan Warriors took up the chant and they listened to the exiles take it up.

Cloverpool saw Minnowtail and Summitwind and she almost cried her eyes out. Her daughter and her nephew were here in the flesh, well kind of. "We are Here, Starclan."

Hickorypaw hadn't been around for long but he had heard mention of Starclan many many times and how they were supposedly their warrior ancestors. And the Dark Forest didn't really have rules, but without rules there would be chaos. The tom was smart for his age and he also believed in Starclan. "We are Here, Starclan." He chanted with everyone else. He cast a sweet smiled at his love, Willowpaw and then faced front again. He was not going to die and he sure as heck would not let the Dark Forest win.

OOC: StarClan cats shouldn't join yet, I'll tell you when it's time to join. We're just waiting on other Whisper Plot Cats to post > . < Sorry it's becoming such an arduous process.

Ivyfall didn't know what was going on, she looked up to see a heartbreakingly familiar yellow-green gaze and she knew that something was up. Her father, Duskfall, he was here and with some calico tom. Her eyes narrowed sharply when she noticed that her father leant into some other she-cat but she was distracted by the chanting that was rippling through the clearing. She shot a concerned looked over to her daughter, Frostfall, fearing that something was going to happen. She could feel it in her bones, even though she was no medicine cat, something was about to happen. Something big. Would StarClan return?

Saltpelt visibly flinched at the words being spoken by the cats around her, her blue eyes looking over frantically to Morningstar. What was going on? Was that Falconstone? What were all these cats doing here? She thought they'd all been killed in some unfortunate accident or taken by Twolegs.

Scorchfrost looked up from his fight. All of a sudden, cats he hadn't seen in moons had appeared in the clearing, and everything was slowly getting pulled together. He watched as other cats repeated the phrase. His heart was soaring high above the treetops, and for just a moment, he felt very, very religious. He glanced at Stormpaw, his beloved son, and saw the future. A glimmer of hope in a weary world. He could not destroy that glimmer. He wouldn't let them. And so, as he lowered back into a fighting stance, he whispered the powerful words that were tossed among the clearing.

"We are here, StarClan."

Ferretshine broke away from the crowd of exiles, not quite knowing what she would do when she reached her destination. It all happened so suddenly, and there she was: standing before Webtail, her father, swallowing her pride. "If this is who you want to be... I will never be able to please you. And I'm sorry I can't give you that. I wish... I wish this could have gone a little differently. I just wanted to tell you that I do love you, in case anything happens tonight, to either of us. I see now that I was foolish, too, but it was always going to come to this in the end, no matter how you tried to defend yourself and no matter how many times I tried to prove you wrong. I couldn't mend things with my brother, so you're my next shot." She turned her head, tears welling up in her eyes. Lightningstrike calls my emotion my downfall. That it makes me more dangerous. I guess he was right. I let go of my anger, and now I have nothing... Nothing but hope. Ferretshine lifted her weary head to the stars.

"We are here, StarClan!"

Right on Alderheart's tail appeared another one of ShadowClan's missing cats; Nightpaw. Her pelt resembled the night sky, two bright eyes stared proudly forward at the crowd of cats. The young she-cat had grown since her departure, not only in size but in strength and knowlage. She had learned the worth of all the clans during the journey, and especially learned about StarClan. The she-cat had grown up in an era where StarClan had disappeared, and didn't know their effect on the clans until they found them. The love the ancestors felt for them, the care, and the compassion. It was something the clans needed--and she was the one to give it to them.

With her tail held high, she stood next to Alderheart and joined in. "We are here, StarClan." Her voice ringing through the clearing with as much strength as Morningstar's.

Hearing the chant, Blackpaw began to look confused. He knew the cats elder than him knew what was happening, and yet he was bemused. He let out a tiny squeak of distress, as he had never grown up with StarClan's primordial customs. He swerved, and contributed to the chant silently. "We are here, StarClan."

"We are here, Starclan," Frozenflame yelled along with the chant. Flames of rage burned in his eyes as he looked at the traitors before him.

Blazingpaw took in everything, fear strangling his heart, but then he remembered what Scorchfrost taught him and pride swelled inside of him. "We are here, Starclan!"

Darkfrost looked around and the inner battle inside of him fighting between good and evil finally stopped. A smile appeared on his muzzle and he chanted. "We are here, Starclan!"

Crowpaw looked in disgust at the others who chanted something about Starclan. His eyes landed on his father, Darkfrost, and he growled viciously. Crowpaw was loyal to the Dark Forest, through which he was raised and trained.

Adderpaw didn't know what Starclan was, but at the sound of it's name, his chest swelled with an unexplainable feeling. "We are here, Starclan," he yowled happily.

Emberleaf was late to the gathering, so he snuck in the back and chanted along. "We are here, Starclan!"

Mistywater felt terrible, she was in the Dark Forest, not helping a single thing. She wasn't against StarClan in any way but...It was in her blood, her grandfather did...Making it a huge line in her family, she sighed. Disobeying the Dark Forest. She began, she never really thought she was loyal to the Dark Forest.
she just knew it was in her blood.

"We are here, StarClan" she mewed, her voice soft, loyal.

Muddyfang was part of StarClan for sure, he had just killed an apprentice but he felt the need to say it, he was part of StarClan no matter what.

"We are here, StarClan" he mewed, his eyes showing he was calm, not worrying about what he had just done.

Adderpaw began chanting along "We are here, StarClan" he mewed.

Willowbreeze looked at Muddyfang as he padded up to her. She shook her head as she tried to think, "Why were you even attacking at all?She asked, her voice somewhat quiet and filled with sorrow. Before she could say anything else more cats she didn't know came into the clearing and started chanting. StarClan was here. She looked around at the dark forest loyalist and ghosts and chanted , "We are here, StarClan!" she yowled, eyes shining with determination.

Littlebrook watched with surprised eyes as cats came into the clearing and started chanting. She smiled, "We are here, StarClan!" she yowled as loudly as she could, glaring at theDark Forest cats as she did.

Swiftheart looked over as cats padded into Fourtrees and chanted. "We are here, StarClan!" he yowled, smirking at all the Dark Forest cats.

Meadowpaw and Fawnpaw saw more cats join them and start chanting. They looked around as others joined in and eventually so did they, "We are here, StarClan!" Fawnpaw yowled loudly. "We are here, StarClan!" Meadowpaw yowled.
