Stealing is common, but being caught is not [CLOSED]

Sunpelt was heading along the border on a patrol with his mate Cloverpool, daughter Wishpaw, and friends Scorchfrost and Sedgepaw when he smelled something odd. Enemy cats! he thought to himself as he always did when he smelled something dangerously familiar, although he was rarely right. But this time.... This time he might be.

He halted the patrol with his tail, and whispered, "Hey guys.... Do you smell what I smell?"

Rainpaw was creeping through the grass, looking warily around. He knew that this was an important job, but he was nervous... Stealing from another clan's territory was dangerous, after all. He wished that they could have simply asked for permission to take some herbs, but he knew as well as the warriors and his leader that Thunderclan would most certainly say no. They didn't have much to spare at the moment, but they had a herb Shadowclan needed. "There's cats nearby." He breathed, pressing himself against the ground as fresh Thunderclan scent reached his nose.

Cloverpool followed her mate. She scented the air when her mate asked then a question. "What is that?" She meowed looking around for the scent.

Wishpaw could scent something too. She wasn't too familiar with the other Clans' scents yet...but it wasn't a badger or a fox so it had to be a rival Clan. She hoped she wouldn't have to fight anything...
She padded back to stand close to her mother, but she kept her senses alert just in case something else happened.

Scorchfrost 'hmph'-ed gruffly, amber eyes narrowing. "That's ShadowClan scent, I'll bet," he whispered to Wishpaw, "remember that, it'll help you." He looked to his apprentice, Sedgepaw, nodding for the younger cat to stand beside Scorchfrost.

Ferretshine stopped Rainpaw with a paw on the cat's tail, breathing slowing to a stop. She wanted to peek above the grass to catch a glimpse of a pelt, but that would jeopardize the patrol. She didn't want to steal, but, technically, this wasn't real territory to begin with. ThunderClan didn't have a proper territory, so taking herbs that ShadowClan desperately needed wasn't so bad... right? She was sure ThunderClan would have declined had they marched up and asked, so they had to "borrow" a few. If it came to a fight, she was ready.

ic; Sunpelt growled. "Yeah, that's ShadowClan alright. Hey, Wishpaw and Sedgepaw, here's a learning experience. When you smell ShadowClan, fight ShadowClan. They're always up to no good..." He raised his head high above the grass, sniffing the air, trying to pinpoint the smell. A flash of fur caught his eye, and he flicked his tail in that direction. "There they are.... Are you all ready to fight? We'll kick their butts and send them screaming back to their stinky marshland. Remember your battle skills." And with that he crouched down low, preparing to ambush the stupid ShadowClans with a surprise attack.

OOC: Sorry for being late! I've been busy this weekend!

IC: Speckledpaw scented the air and knew that there was a Thunderclan patrol nearby. She looked back at her clanmates and mewed, "patrol nearby...".

Mistpaw's hackles raised as she scented the Thunderclan cats. "The squirrel chasers noticed us..." she growled through clenched teeth.

ic; Sunpelt was still creeping up on the ShadowClan patrol. He knew they were very near now. His heart was pounding, his head beating with excitement. His ears were drawn back so that the patrol would not notice him. When he saw another flicker of fur, and started raced his shadow, going as fast as he could, and then leaped on top of the closest cat, Ferretshine, bowling her to the ground. He let out a screech of anger, sounding the battle cry.

Scorchfrost yowled in turn, leaping at a nearby cat, an apprentice. He would have taken on a warrior, but the odd-eyed tom was the first cat he could target. He slammed his huge paws into Rainpaw's side, sending him tumbling over.

Ferretshine grunted in frustration. "ShadowClan, go!" she yowled, sounding the go-ahead to attack their opponent. She twisted her body to grab Sunpelt's scruff, biting down and slashing him with her paws, growling like a freight train.

Ferretshine used Teeth Grip, costing 20 SP and dealing 16 damage, which takes effect over 3 turns

Wishpaw didn't really want to fight, but she had to if she wanted to help protect her Clan. With a high-pitched screech, Wishpaw ran for one of the apprentices. Going for a warrior would be like racing into a death trap. She leaped up, and then landed on Mistpaw. She then began to rake at her back with her claws unsheathed.

Sedgepaw looked over at his mentor, who seemed to be fighting Sunpelt...He looked over at Speckledpaw who was being fought by Cloverpool and was knocked out. He needed to find someone here he could win to, maybe Mistpaw? Ya, she seemed to be almost knocked out, he rushed over to Wishpaw and unsheathed his claws. He wondered what moves he could pick, remembing training with Scorchfrost he had a move in his mind, well first he was going to check in with Wishpaw on if she really did need him "Need something with me to help with?" He growled, though he really wasn't trying to be mean or to sound mean in any way possible.

OOC2: Oh ya and I'll just have him do some random stuff to help since this battle has already began, I would like to say I'm to lazy to add any text color so, mobile ;-;
