November Gathering 2015

Aquapaw looked around and immediately saw Pinepaw walking over to her. "Hi Pinepaw," she whispered back.

Sandfire padded after her clanmates staying quiet as she did. She looked around before sitting down quietly by herself.

Cobrapaw looked around from where she sat by herself quietly. She curled her tail around her paws.

Pinepaw sat down beside Aquapaw and kept watching for cats he knew

Featherpaw quietly sat down alone

Hailpaw looked around.

Marigoldleaf smiled at the familiar abundance of cats. Another gathering, another full moon.

Ashwing walked into the Gathering with the rest of WindClan. She went to be by her mate Icestorm. As she sat down by him, her knee popped. She winced. Should I think about retiring soon?
Longwhisker fairly pranced into the Gathering. His first as a warrior! He wanted to sit by his sister, but she was with Smokepelt. Unsure, he sat by a WindClan apprentice (Hailpaw). "Hi," he greeted her.
Shimmerheart, finally healed (almost) from all her recent mishaps, looked for Leopardfang. She didn't see him, and so sat near the other ShadowClan cats. But not too close.

Hailpaw smiled and turned to Longwhisker. "Hey, Longwhisker! How is life as a warrior?"

Lightfoot was in the back of the WindClan group, flanking his clan out of sheer habit. He'd long since gotten over the self-consciousnesses that he'd had when he was an apprentice and his white pelt had first shone so brilliantly in public. He grinned a little when he trotted past Icestorm talking as if he were the age of an elder. The displacement had been rough, but perhaps not enough to age a cat past his time. If Icestorm and I are old, then Falconstar is beyond ancient! He thought to himself, picking a pleasantly quiet spot to sit and get comfortable.

Leopardfang trotted mutely behind Thrushstar. There was something subdued about his leader that unnerved the spotted deputy. He stayed silent and denied eye contact with any cat that tried, wordlessly taking his spot with the older deputy of ThunderClan. His mind wandered toward Shimmerheart, but he restrained himself. Leopardfang didn't want to get distracted in case some valuable information surfaced itself.

Silverdapple purred as she sat besides Smokepelt, letting their pelts touch. She shivered as a gust of chilly wind swept through the trees, wrapping her thick tail around her warmed her up.

Rainfire was one of the last Shadowclan cat's to arrive, he meandered around until spotting Shatteredapw's unmistakable pelt. He padded over slowly, to make sure he didn't step on any tails, and sat besides his best friend.

Feeling a bit left out of the conversation, Icestorm motioned his tail for Ashwing to follow him and gave the cats a nod. He padded over to Lightfoot "Hello Lightfoot. I hope a fight doesn't break out tonight..." he said, a bit worried.

"Hey, I'm going to say hello to some cats. Be right back." He meowed to Leafsnap. The tall tom walked over to a ShadowClan cat (Rainfire). "Hello, how is ShadowClan?" Cedarfur sat his rump down, his long legs always made it awkward.

Smokepelt sat next to Silverdapple, enjoying the night.

Mudfoot sat alone, until he saw a cat walking towards him...

Ashwing followed Icestorm to sit near one of her oldest friends, Lightfoot. "The Gatherings have been really tense lately," she agreed with her mate. "Especially between ThunderClan and RiverClan. And, after all the territory we've acquired, I feel like we're not the most popular of Clans." She had caught SkyClan and RiverClan cats giving her Clanmates evil looks.
"Not really as different as you'd expect- at least not yet," Longwhisker purred. "I hope it will be soon, though."
Shimmerheart saw Mudfoot, a cat she had almost never spoken to. "Hey there," she greeted him. "How is life with you?" She winced inwardly. Man, I cannot talk to other cats well.
Halfpaw still ain't here 'cuz Fishstar still ain't come yet.

Golden pool looked around and frowned.

Bluesong looked up and watched the leaders curiously.

Dreampaw swiveled her head around and looked at all the different cats with wide eyes.

Fallenpaw sat, smiling as the leaders spoke. He sat, tail coiled around his body. He looked up at the leaders, awaiting the next leader to speak.

Leafsnap nodded as her mate went to speak, keeping to herself.

"ThunderClan should be proud to have an apprentice so keen. The path of a medicine cat isn't always the easiest, but I see in you a determination. Considering our informal alliance, I look forward to see you progress, Dreampaw." Having three apprentices, one in SkyClan, another in ShadowClan, and his final in WindClan, he was used to this whole mentoring business. Much more than he ever expected he'd be. When he spotted his other apprentice, Dawnpaw, he called out to her. "Dawnpaw! Meet a fellow medicine cat apprentice, this is Dreampaw of ThunderClan."

"Old bones? You look like a spring hare." Duskfall joked, but Icestorm really did look quite young and fit. Of course compared to the leaders, they were all spring chicks, however the WindClan warrior looked far too young to be saying such things. It made him feel too old. "Don't say things like that, you're in the prime of your youth. Who's going to catch all those herb munching hares if WindClan's warriors are withering away." When Leopardfang joined them, he nodded his head in greeting to the ShadowClan deputy. "How does ShadowClan fare these days?"

Dawnpaw perked up at her name. She blinked, and looked around until she spotted her mentor. She stood from her spot from within the Shadowclan cats and worked her way over to the other medicine cats. She should have know she was supposed to join them. Taking a spot next to Gorsefeather she looked at the other Apprentice. "Hello." She said simply. It was kind of a relief to see another young apprentice. Dawnpaw was glad that Dreampaw was here.

Dreampaw looked up at Dawnpaw and perked up. She smiled, her Amber eyes glowing.
"Hi!" Dreampaw said enthusiastically.
