November Gathering (2023)

She had felt her energy fading. That of her own, that of her entire Clan. Yet, she charged on into the clearing, her head held high. Paws crunched the foliage that had fallen, but the molly made no attempt to keep her steps silent. There would be no point- they were here to have a night of peace. Any attempt to hunt prey would have been silly, especially in the clearing of Fourtrees. Hunger gnarled at her belly, and while she would have otherwise attempted it, there was the simple fact: the prey didn't even exist.

Her conversation with Crocuspaw stirred in her mind, bringing the tortoiseshell's tail to flick with slight agitation as she lept onto the Great Rock. More and more, she had begun to consider the words. To consider attempting to venture beyond where the Clans knew, all to keep her clanmates alive. Perhaps she would discuss it with Perchstar this evening, so long as the molly was well. Her gaze searched for the silver and white she-cat, even as she was the first to arrive.

Bluepaw was not looking forward for the walk to the gathering. He was already tired and hungry and having to go sit out in the cold just to watch the leaders talk about how hungry they were seemed a bit pointless to him.

Why was it they had to do this anyways? Tradition for tradition's sake was silly in his mind.

Regardless he followed his leader in but with way less energy than she gave off. Anyone who looked at their group could probably see easily enough there wasn't much prey in thunderclan.
