Batten down the Hatches [OPEN for SKC - Staff Generated Event]

IC:Maplepaw's eyes widened as the tree fell on her. She screeched as it crushed her and she tried to wiggle out but with no success. "Someone help me please!! " She meowed her wail of distress was heard from somewhere under the branches.

He must have black out for a moment. One second, he had heard the sound of cracking thunder and trees, and the screams of his clanmates. He had been up on his feet in less than an instant, rushing over to help them in anyway that he possibly could. Next thing he knew more ear-splitting cracking sounds had followed. There was a sharp pain in his back and his legs and the all went dark. When he finally woke up again, he could hear the wailing of several of his clanmates, but he was helpless to go to them. He was stuck, pinned under the weight of fallen branches, red staining his light gray pelt. He was stubborn though, gridding his teeth together and trying to pull himself free anyways. "Everyone, stay calm!" He ypwled through the clearing. They would find a way out of this. They had too...

Breezestar continued to tear away at the wood that trapped him in plave, freezing once he had heard the terror of a familiar she-cat. Her words pierced him, like a spear of ice to the heart. "Fawnspirit?! Where are you? Can you hear me?" He shouted. It was hard to see anyone through the mess and rubble. "You're going to be okay, I promise#" He prayed to StarClan he was giving his mate no lies.

Stormwing was shocked by the sudden crash and crack of rain. Gasping with surprise as she suddenly was struck in the side by a falling tree, it had knocked her out temporarily. Well, not exactly knocked her out. For the most part, she had just been disoriented, and by the end of it, she had been fine. Still though, her hindquarters were being pressed against the ground by something that felt heavy. Luckily enough, if she turned, she was able to slip free of the debris. Yes!

But now, it meant she had to choose who to save.

Hearing her leaders' cries, she immediately thought to save him- Wait, no. Prioritize. He had more lives, and could survive if she had to take care of a clan mate. Bounding across the camp to where Fawnspirit was, her paws were quick to work and dig the she-cat a way out, as well as push away any lighter branches to make the escape easier. It looked like her pelt had changed colors by the end of it, as hard rain pierced through her fur.
"Go help your mate. I'll get the rest of the Clan." She said firmly, pointing the weak she-cat in his direction. Pity flashed in her eyes for a moment, but she then went bounding off to another clan mate. Finding another warrior, all she really had to do was push a large, and heavy, branch out of the way. By the time that was done she was rather tired, and needed some time to rest.

Rabbitwhisker laid limp underneath the heavy debris, his head remained trapped along with most of him waist up. The sizeable branch was pressing against his body in all the wrong ways, and he could feel something wet dripping from the numb spot where his ear was. Distantly, he could hear a familiar voice. He blinked rapidly to rid himself of the overwhelming blackness that had taken over his vision but it wouldn't go away. Surely it couldn't be this dark he thought, scrabbling at the branches and leaves beneath his feet. He felt a sickening feeling take over, panic rising. He was breathing shallowly, thoughts racing of worst case scenarios. But then a voice finally broke through to him.

"This hurts! Dad! Someone! Anyone! Help! Help! I'm trapped!"

It was his son, Deerpaw, and from the sound of it he was terrified. Rabbitwhisker was just as frightened, if not more by his inability to see, but he stuffed his terror aside. He was no apprentice or kit, he was a warrior, a father. The brown tabby had sworn to look after his kits to his mate, so he would. "It's okay, Deerpaw! I can hear you! Stay calm, okay! Stay calm, you don't want to make more things fall on you. Someone will definitely rescue you. Anyone?!? If anyone can hear me, save Deerpaw! Please!"

Fawnspirit looked up suddenly as her mate's familiar voice reached her. His words calmed her, and before long, the branches weighing her down were being moved. Someone had come to her rescue.
She crawled out of the remaining debris, stumbling onto her paws.
"Thank you, Stormwing." she spoke, "And I will."
She weakly made her way over to where her mate was buried under the debris. Mud and blood dripped off of her ragged pelt, but she paid no attention to it as she slowly dragged branch after branch off of Breezestar. When she could finally help him free, she licked his cheek, thanking StarClan that they had both survived.

Breezestar let out a heavy sigh of relief once he saw his mate rush over, trying his best to squeeze out of the constricting space the branches had created over him as Fawnspirit fought to try and get him out herself. It was painful, and messy, he'd left plenty of bloodstains behind him, but he was still free. The tom purred light-headily, rubbing against the she-cat affectionately for a moment. "Thank StarClan you're alright." He meowed before glancing around the rest of the camp. There were still others who needed help. "Come on!"

He went for the first cat he could see, running to help Rabbitwhisker and push away the debris with powerful legs.

Larktalon's head was spinning as cats scrambled underneath and around the tree. He had to think... and fast. To his knowledge, no kits were injured in the fall. He would have to save the apprentices first. They would have a bigger issue dealing with the force of the collision. Hearing cries of help, he dashed around the tree, ears careening with fear. That voice... he had to save her. Then, he spotted the young she-cat, Sandpaw, stuck underneath the tree. The tom rushed over and looked her over. He couldn't be sure of the damage. He began to dig around her, slashing at the twigs to clear them from his view. "Don't worry, Sandpaw, I'm going to get you out." He had to save his daughter first.

Rabbitwhisker, though grateful he was free, only gave the leader a brisk nod of thanks before shooting over to where he heard his son's cries for help. The brown tabby shoved against branch after branch, clawing at any leaves like a mad cat. All he could think of was his mate's limp, bloody body, and that he would do anything to prevent something like that happening to his kit. He couldn't bare to lose him as well.

Biting into the last branch, he pulled on it until it gave way. "Deerpaw! Deerpaw! Are you okay? Son?"
