Troutstep sat were he was, surprised his brother dared come over and weep on his shoulder, but kept silent looking into the distance. He was try so hard not to lose his temper, not wanting to make a scene in the clan. Besides, Troutstep had already been through so much with his family he honestly didn't know what to say. He gave a sigh and finally said "Listen, I don't really care whose fault it is. If you think about it, who started it all?" he hissed the last part like a snake. Then he nudged his brother's muzzle off his shoulder. "Who do you think?!" He somewhat lost his temper but didn't raise his voice, not to disturb the clan with his pathetic family drama. "And whooo were the idiots that tried to find their "fake" father!" I mean, were they not happy enough with what they have? Did they really need more?!"

Willowpaw cowered back then hissed. "Don't blame Moonlight for falling in love! rouges have a right to fall in love to! Mom couldn't help but fall in love either!" Willowpaw turned and stalked off towards her sister and burring her muzzle into her fur.

Slushpaw let the tears fall as her sister pressed against her, gripping her in a tight hug. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect him... I'm just glad I got to meet father and see how good a cat he is- he did his best trying to save Ripplepaw and he did great." She whispered quietly with chicken sobs.
