October Gathering 2014

The clearing was shrouded in mist that night. Dead crinkling leaves blanketed the frozen soil while the Great Rock sparkled eerily in the moonlight, looking like a giant stone claw thrusting out of the earth. Stars and a bright full moon hung above it all, cold and distant to the troubles of the cats far below.

Standing atop the hill over Fourtrees, Spottedstar noted Thunderclan was the first clan to arrive, and she gave a flick of her tail, plunging down to the clearing, her posture clearly one of high status. She looked behind her as her clan started to fill the clearing before jumping on the Great Rock, settling back and wrapping her tail around her paws, patiently waiting for the other clans.

Pfft, forgot about them:

Nightfire appeared next to Morningpaw bam.

For whenever these clans come:

Bam Hawkflight, Stormclaw are there.

FeatherPaw waited in the clearing with SpottedStar as they were first to arrive. This would be her first gathering and she was excited to attend. Maybe she would meet other apprentices to talk to or make friends with.

Morningpaw was padding after Spottedstar. Her gaze glimmered, excited that it would be her first gathering as the medicine cat apprentice of ThunderClan. Her gaze flickered around, a small frown appearing on her face. She had lost track of Nightfire in the crowd of ThunderClan cats, and noticed she was alone when she arrived in the spot for the medicine cats for the different clans. She sat down as she wrapped her tail around her paws, figuring that she had simply walked ahead of her; she was all to eager to see how this gathering went...She just hoped that nobody would be bitter toward each other, this was a time for sharing, not worrying about the fighting going on among the Clans.

Eaglewing was located behind his leader, Spottedstar when his clan walked to the clearing. He blinked his eyes and felt something touching him from behind. He turned around and saw Gingerleaf trotting closer toward him. "Is something wrong?"

"No, I'm just a little nervous," Gingerleaf replied and looked ahead. "This is my second gathering, hopefully nothing bad happens." The calico glanced at the white warrior again.

As the she cat finished talking, the white warrior stared at the calico. "Just stand tall and look confident. Looking like a startled mouse wouldn't make you look good. Everything is going to be fine, as long as no cat breaks the truce."

Gingerleaf narrowed her eyes at the warrior. To her, he sounded a little bossy, but she knew that he was just giving her advice. She turned her head away and trotted faster away from Eaglewing to find somewhere to sit.

Looking into the clearing, Thrushstar narrowed his eyes at the sight of only one other clan being there. Unfortunately, that happened to be Thunderclan. Holding his head high, he simply flicked his tail for his clan to follow him into Fourtrees as he padded down to take his place on the Great rock. It was strange to see the clearing so misty and almost eerie, but no matter. If Starclan had an issue with them meeting in the first place, there would have been no full moon tonight. When he settled into his spot, he took one simple glance towards Spottedstar. "Greetings," he said nonchalantly.

Fennelcloud quietly followed behind Thrushstar, looking around at the Thunderclan cats when she entered the clearing. Not too long ago, she saw the Thunderclan as an apprentice. Now that she was a warrior, they seemed different somehow-- like she was at their level. She felt that if anything happened, she could totally take any of them on... Not that that would happen of course. They were under a full moon. Starclan would be super mad if they did anything to break the peace that was supposed to be held at Fourtrees. So instead, the new Shadowclan warrior took a spot underneath the Greatrock and sat quietly, holding her tongue from saying anything she shouldn't.

Dapplepelt walked after Spottedstar and looked around, noticing all the cats that were there. To his surprise, only Thunderclan and some others had come. He sat and wrapped his tail around his paws, seeing if anybody wanted to talk yet.

Bearmask followed after her father, her gaze flickering around the clearing as she stuck to the middle of the ShadowClan warriors. She spotted a single Clan in the clearing; ThunderClan...She sighed softly, shaking her head. While she had no bitterness toward them, she knew that they might have it toward them...She sat down in a nice spot, looking around for Tigerclaw, hoping her Clanmate would join her.

Wildfire followed her Clanmates into Fourtrees, as the ThunderClan warrior settled by her Clanmates and looked up at the Great Rock, as if something was already going to happen. This would be her first time at a Gathering as a warrior, so the she-cat sat straight, looking confident, or almost too confident. The moment the scent of ShadowClan wafted her nose, the previous battle occurred to the she-cat's memories. Those rogues (SkyClan) were lucky, she thought bitterly, letting out a small snort at the fact her Clan and WindClan had to leave, to stop the battle the moment ShadowClan came. Oh StarClan, why can't there be anything good happening for the past moons after these battles, she thought rather cowardly, as the she-cat watched the ShadowClan cats join among the Gathering.

ThunderClan and ShadowClan, he counted, glancing back at the others behind him. Well, at least they weren't the first to arrive, and ShadowClan would be there to help diffuse the tension as well. If every cat walked away tonight without their pelt scratched out, he felt like it'd be a blessing from StarClan. "Come on." He finally said after a bit, walking out of the undergrowth and leading SkyClan into the clearing.
With his head held high, as exhausting as it was, he looked straight ahead - ignoring the growls and stares, only pausing when he reached the foor of the Great Rock. He'd heard many, many stories about it - the leaders that worked here, the words shared, the lives fallen... Never once did he think his own feet would set on it themselves.
With a deep silent breath, the deputy leaped up and sat next to the other two. "Greetings, Spottedstar. Thrushstar." He forced the words to be loud enough, clear enough, and with the kindest smile he could manage to show - despite whatever bitter feelings that he had. He was always told the gathering was for a night of peace, so that's what he had to be... peaceful... right?

Following the others in were Lilyclaw, Ebonyleaf, and Tigerclaw.

Lilyclaw sat warily near the edge of the clearing near a group of ThunderClan cats, a few newly dressed scars covering her - to all but add to her collection, she tols herself. She only hoped for tonight that she wouldn't have to sit alone for long. It'd be nice to have someone to talk too.

Ebonyleaf walked in curiously with Sleetpaw at her side, glancing around for RiverClan - and her other apprentice with them, but so far, they were nowhere to be seen. The end of her tail twitch, "Come on, medicine cats sit over here." The calico meowed, walking to the small, shaded area and greeting the ThunderClan meddie.

Tigerclaw was one of the last ShadowClan cats to entwr, shooting the many ThunderClan cats stares... Not of any animosity though, only curiosity. When they'd went to SkyClan, they had been expecting a fight - and the large warrior was honestly quite disappointed that they never got it. It'dve exciting, to say the least. He knew the same could've never been said for his dear friend, though. The tabby quickly found Beatmask in the crowd, taking a seat and casually wrapping his tail around her... You know, just cause that's what friends did. Cough.

Bearmask had shifted slightly as Tigerclaw sat down at him, smiling softly but paused when she felt his tail wrap around her. She opened her mouth, about to say something before she simply closed it, deciding better of it. Instead, she scooted a bit close to him, deciding to enjoy his company and warmth on this night.



Following after her new deputy was Creamstorm. The warrior had recovered softly from the battle that had happened, even having another scar across her cheek, another to add to her collection of many scars. Her eyes was cold as she stared at ThunderClan; at the Clan that had tried to destroy her Clan but said nothing as she sat down, her head held high as she stared up at Breezetail as he hopped onto the rock with the leaders. She planned to respect what he had said to the Clans; to honor the Warrior Code and keep the cats in SkyClan in line.

She knew that Breezetail would do exactly that, and while he was a fine deputy for now; she knew he would be a grand leader when that fateful day came...If Falconstar and Spottedstar would honor their words and let SkyClan live for that long. A small sneer came across her face, shaking her head. This is why she had been so hesitant to join SkyClan when Silenstar had first offered; cats could be horrible, and her time in this forest only reminded her of it, and so would her scars...New ones, and old ones.

Lightningstrike emerged out of the bushes, looking tired but happy. Featherpaw, his apprentice, was learning a lot-and fast. The tom trotted down the hill and placed himself in an area where no other cats were sitting.

BlackPaw padded towards the clearing with his ShadowClan clan mates. As he looked for any other apprentices to talk to he saw that only three clans had arrived. "Wow! How impressive." He muttered sarcastically. His tail swished back and forth. He was so close to being a warrior he could sniff it. Then he could fight for his clan.

FeatherPaw looked around and spotted her mentor LightningStrike. Running over to him she said. "LightningStrike! Hi can I sit with you?" She smiled and waited.

Lightningstrike purred and nodded, glad that his apprentice had come to sit with him. "So, been practicing battle moves with your friends?" he asked casually.

FeatherPaw looked around then said. "I don't really have any friends." She shrugged a bit. It was true she didn't really hang out with any other cats she normally did things alone.
