October Gathering 2021

Flintstar huffed as he stepped into the clearing, tail swishing as he motioned for his Clan to follow in behind him. He wasn't thrilled to be here but, well, when was he ever? He was the first to arrive - something that didn't surprise him, in fact he was more surprised when he wasn't the first to arrive. Being awake and moving at this time came naturally to ShadowClan, they never dragged their paws with tiredness under the light of the full moon - they were as alert as ever. He made his way to the Great Rock, jumping his way up as he took his seat and waited for the rest of the Clans to arrive as always.

Burningwing entered the gathering not far behind Flintstar. As the leader broke off and hopped on top of the Great Rock, Burningwing broke off and sat at the edge of the Shadowclan assembly. The other clans had yet to arrive, but that seemed typical for them. He sighed quietly, feeling more relaxed than normal tonight. Perhaps he'd interact with other clan cats this time.... perhaps not. His yellow eyes scoured the empty clearing, waiting for signs of movement beyond that that would signal the arrival of the other clans.

Basilpaw entered Fourtrees with her ears and tail high and alert, on a mission that she was determined not to fail this time. Her paws and body felt tired from the long walk but she didn't mind, and the little tortoiseshell trotted across the clearing quickly to sit directly underneath the Great Rock, near where her mother would sit. If she wanted to meet the other medicine cats, the spot that the high ranks usually gathered would be the best spot! Since they were the first ones here she watched eagerly for any sign of the other clans approaching, ready and willing to greet any cat who came near. Nearly a moon of being sick and stuck at home had given her newfound confidence and determination.

Webshadow trailed behind ShadowClan as they filled the clearing, not at all surprised to see they were the first Clan to arrive. He watched his Clanmates settle, ears flicking with mild interest, and found his own spot a few fox-lengths away from the base of the Great Rock. The tabby hovered for a little while, as if expecting something to happen, before he finally sat down, tail thumping restlessly against his forelegs.

Loudnose bounced into the gathering as usual, his curious, yellow eyes aglow. He thought about how fun the last time had been, and he was determined to make this one even more. He hadn't been near his sister when they were travelling to Fourtrees but now that he saw the molly by the Great Rock, he wanted to see what she was doing. Loudnose didn't think about if he would be distracting her from whatever duties she may be doing but nonetheless he went over to her. "Hi Basil," he purred as he sat by her, perhaps temporarily or not. "Are you excited for the gathering because I sure am! I cannot wait for everyone to arrive, I want to meet more cats. But I would be good to spend the rest of the night with you," he meowed loudly, speaking exactly what was on the tom's mind. He didn't doubt for a second that he might be too honest, but if his sister seemed disinterested he'd be more than willing to find another cat to befriend.

Loudnose is talking with Basilpaw but could easily get distracted by someone else.

Dappledpaw ran after her clan into the empty clearing. They were the first to arrive, and she was grateful for this. She didn't really want to approach random cats and start a conversation. She went over to the edge of her clan and sat down. She watched the edge of the clearing, waiting for the other clans to arrive. She felt to cool crisp air of the night and shivered a bit. Her short pelt wasn't helpful for the coming chill.

Someone had managed to convince Mistyfalcon to make the trek out to fourtrees, and upon being greeted with an empty hollow, Mistyfalcon let out a quiet snort of disgust. Of course they'd be the first ones to arrive. But at least that meant the area wasn't overwhelmed with different scents and the chatter of a hundred different conversations at once.

The dark-furred tom slipped in among his clanmates, not really in the mood for conversation (though he seldom was to begin with) but he knew that their presence and company was much preferable to any other clan that would show up tonight... And staying among Shadowclan offered the least chance of drama.

Batglow padded into the gathering, his expression flat and not really interested in what was happening around him. Of course he still had a duty to uphold in watching over Basilpaw. The tall black tom walked past his clanmates before settling in a spot near Basilpaw. If she had questions he was going to answer them the best he could, for now hopefully no one would really bother him if he remained near the medicine cats.

Batglow is with Basilpaw and Loudnose.

Though she was exhausted, Ivystar didn’t show a single sign of it as she padded into the clearing for the gathering. She had a trillion better places she could be, but this was an obligation. It would be over rather soon anyway… Hopefully. She found herself thinking that every time, but it seemed as if that was never the case. Whether it was an unruly apprentice causing problems or StarClan themselves throwing a wrench in the Clans’ plans, it seemed like they would never have a “normal” gathering. But all she could do is keep hoping and get out as fast as she could. Then, maybe, she could continue looking for her poor former apprentice and deputy. With a huff, she pulled herself up onto the Great Rock, nodding to Flintstar and taking her spot.

Wolfstar led SkyClan into Fourtrees, showing up with little fanfare and this time, no necessary warnings of "behave yourself - or else." He was ragged and tired, and wanted this over with. He made his way to the rock and climbed up, sitting with a quiet "thump" to one far side.

Spottedfrog followed along at the back of the Gathering with Pigeonpaw at her heels, head low, tail flicking stiffly.

Dawnfeather followed her Clan into Fourtrees, glancing over at her family before striking out on her own, weaving between the assembled cats. RiverClan… ShadowClan… seemed WindClan and ThunderClan hadn’t arrived yet… there was, as always, something magical about the star-filled clearing. The shadows that lay gracefully upon the ground. The breeze that ruffled her fur… it sent shivers up her spine but she liked that.

The young warrior glanced over at the unfamiliar cats to her left and right… she didn’t see Jasminepaw, but that didn’t mean the young molly wasn’t here. No one else caught her eye…

Dawn is kinda searching for Jasminepaw but is open to talk to!
Prickle and Hen haven’t arrived yet.

Entering her first Gathering with ShadowClan, Jasminepaw held her head high. you can do this, Jasminepaw! Noticing SkyClan was here was well, her eyes instantly sought out Dawnfeather, disappointed she didn't see her immediately. Finding her golden pelt, she second guessed herself, nervous. She probably won't want to see me, anyways, the tabby thought, a bit downcast at the idea. Seeing Mistyfalcon, she went over and silently sat down beside the larger tom, giving him a sheepish smile. "Hey, uhm, I n-never properly thanked you.. F-for saving me, and all.. S-so, uhm, thank you."
Jas is talking to Mistyfalcon, but open to conversation! Any SkyClan cats that feel like starting drama.. go right ahead!

CreamFrost had decided to come to the gathering for once. She eventually thought to herself every gathering wouldn’t be normal no matter what. So she one of the first RiverClan cats to come. Leading to not many cats to talk to so she would wait until the right moment to speak came.

OrangeHeart and FrostPaw haven’t arrived.

Dandelionpaw bounded down into the clearing and glanced around. ShadowClan and RiverClan were already here and it wasn't super crowded, luckly. It was a cool breezy, night and she wrapped her fluffy tail around herself. She tried to warm up and sat somewhere in the clearing. The last gathering had went really well, so she was really excited to meet new cats!
