Reclaiming Glory [BATTLE]

Cloudheart heard the noises die down from out side, and let out a shakey breath. She slowly stood, and followed Breezetail out of the den leaving the kits with Honeyleaf. The white she-cat wasn't harmed what so ever, but was scared of the scene outside. Everyone was broken and battered, she closed her eyes and looked away. This kind of life wasn't meant for her. War, and battles at every turn. She was afraid she was going to lose Breezetail twice. "Breezetail.. I want to leave.. T-this i-is to much f-for me... This land isn't worth this much bloodshed.." The queens said her breath leaving her body in shakes, "N-no one deserves this much bloodshed.." Though at times Skyclan did make her feel safe, it was just to scary. She felt more likely to survive away from here right now..

Flameclaw's tail flicked angerly as she looked at the Shadowclan cats. Wounds and blood colored the orange tabby. She wasn't to proud of what she had done, but this is all what came with being a warrior, and a deputy. This was about revenge for her, and she had gotten it. There was nothing more for her, but she had to stand by her leader and that is what she will do, and will continue to do until she died. But one question appeared in her mind, Why were they so ready to defend Skyclan? Why didn't they come to the help of Thunderclan when they needed them?

Silverfang panted, wounds covered the silver tabby. Walked over and collected her two kits, and curled up around them. Both of them had battled hard, and hopefully wouldn't have to battle again sometime soon. Maybe her mate would convince Thrushstar to go home, and then everyone could leave, and her kits would be safe again. She looked at her kits with sad eyes, and started to lick both Hawkpaw, and Feahterpaw hoping they would wake up.

Featherpaw opened her eyes slightly as she felt her mother's tongue go over her head. She looked around, and noticed all battling came to a halt, and her Father was speaking to Thrushstar? Why was he here? A sigh escaped the apprentice, and she closed her eyes again slipping back into the darkness that would later give her energy once she returned home. A sigh of relief was heard from Silverfang as Featherpaw awoke, but Silverfang soon turned her attention to Hawkpaw, giving her the majority of the licks hoping Hawkpaw would awake soon, just as Featherpaw had done.

Turning to Spottedstar with still a calm look on his face, he flicked his ear in a sign of slight annoyance. "Except that they have done no more damage than you have just done to them." Which was true. One good look around and Thrushstar could already tell who had joined the ranks of Starclan and who hadn't. Besides, it was hard not to miss the heavy smell of blood and the onset smell of death mixed with the fear that permeated the air from others that weren't able to battle like the kits and new apprentices. What a horrible sight for them to have to see. Such young souls shouldn't have had to go through this just yet. "I wish I knew which clan you were talking about, Spottedstar. Skyclan has followed every rule in the code as far as Shadowclan is concerned. We've had no issues with any of their warriors trespassing or even trying to be murderous." Then looking back at Falconstar, the Shadowclan leader continued. "As far as your deal goes, I don't believe I can trust a clan holding a murderer. Sharing one border with a clan that wants to kill my warriors is bad enough. For my clan's well being, I don't think I can allow Shadowclan to have to deal with Windclan on two sides," he said matter-of-factly. It wasn't to try to start some argument, it was truly how the leader felt. It was too much of a risk to allow Windclan to be on two sides of Shadowclan if in the end, all they wanted to do was get rid of the clan.

When no one else attacked, Cinderfur finally took a moment to glance between the leaders and then finally around the camp. The devastation was almost too much to handle at this point. There was so much blood everywhere as well as both dead and unconscious bodies. Without hesitation, the Riverclan warrior quickly made her way around the camp to each of her clan mates, checking to make sure they were at least somewhat okay. She wasn't a medicine cat, but she couldn't bear the thought of losing someone else in her life. Reedstar was bad enough. Her first thought was on Sunfur who was knocked out almost as soon as they ran into camp. Padding over to the deputy, she saw that he was simply unconscious, but he was bleeding pretty badly. "Sunfur, are you okay?"

There was a shifting from Creamstorm as she slowly starting to come back too, her eyes blinking once or twice as she tried to get a grip on what was going on around her. Everything was blurry; to much for her to make out as she flickered her ears. The sound of talking filled her ears, voices coming from so many cats at once as she tired to force herself to her paws. She could make out Falconstar talking to another cat...Thrushstar? She blinked as she started to make out the ShadowClan leader and his army of cats behind him? Were they saved; was SkyClan going to live on? Creamstorm didn't get much farther than that, as her legs gave out from under her, sending her crashing to the ground with a small moan. Let SkyClan be saved...She had waited so long to find a home; she didn't wish to give it up now.

Standing not far from Tigerclaw was Bearmask. She stared at the ruined camp; at the cats that laid in the blood-soaked fields. Her whole body shook at such a sight; her voice being caught in her voice as she tried to come with terms with the scene before her. Her gaze finally broke away; but not before she stared a glance with Tigerclaw as the warrior looked at her. She hadn't wish to be here, to see such a thing. She had barely wish to step foot outside of the territory but when her father, mother...Tigerclaw, went to go defend Tigerclaw, how could she risk staying behind if a tragic fate were to befall any one of them? However, something else awoken in the she-cat as she thought about the SkyClan camp. A soft growl escaped from the dark-furred she-cat as she thought about Spottedstar's words. 'Don't go by the warrior code...' Was that how they plotted to defend themselves for launching such an attack? ThunderClan had lost a single cat and one of their leader's lives in that attack that Spottedstar was describing to Bearmask's father but how did that add up to killing their warriors and destroying their homes. Thrushstar was right; SkyClan had done nothing to the two compared to this scene before them.

Owlheart had thought for sure that victory was their when Falconstar yowled to the few remaining SkyClan cats, but the warrior came to a complete stop when Thrushstar's voice rang out across the battle-torn camp. The brown warrior spun around with wide eyes, blinking as he saw the great group of ShadowClan cats behind them. Where had they come from? His ears perked as the leaders spoke, before he let out a hiss at Thrushstar's words. How dare he say such a thing! Owlheart wanted to yowl out that their attack was just, but he stopped himself as soon as he opened his mouth. His mouth hung open for a few seconds, before he slowly closed it and took a small step back with a soft hiss. Perhaps...Perhaps yelling at a Clan with battle-ready warriors would not be the best idea. Instead, the warrior glanced at Falconstar and Spottedstar, wondering how they would respond to Thrushstar.

Poor Smokekit...There was a small mutter from the kit as he laid in his nest, having fallen asleep somehow in the mist of the battle. In truth, the sound of the yowls in the battle had scared the kit, weighed so much on his mind that he soon passed out from growing tired of hearing the sound of the fight. Or perhaps he just didn't get enough sleep last night. Only StarClan knew (but it was more of the latter) Smokekit had woken up slightly when the sound of the battling seem to spot, and swore that in his tired haze he saw his father standing outside the den with his mate, both speaking words to each other but the kit had soon drifted back into a fitful sleep. However, before he completely slipped back into the darkness, he hoped that the battle had simply been a dream and that when he woke up everything would be back to normal; and his life in SkyClan could resume.

OOC;; Sorry! I've been out for so long on busy days, busy busy busy. Forgot to post...

IC;; Standing in the middle of her camp, all five clans together there under the sky, and here she was, boiling with rage, shadowed by grief, and blanketed with failure. She couldn't get over it; her clan was attacked when they did no wrong. ThunderClan and WindClan were enraged by their appearance, striving to get rid of them. Why was it that here she was, and only RiverClan and ShadowClan seemed to be fine with SkyClan reappearing? If she had left Lavenderheart in RiverClan, perhaps things might've been different. For all she knew, Silverstorm's kin could've murdered him as well, for StarClan knows who did what tonight. There was a mass of unconscious cats, warriors expressing doubt on all of their leaders' actions, and yet... Silentstar couldn't do anything. The tabby 's eyes were weary and glazed over, and she was unmoving, unwilling to do anything. With the battle completely still, the she-cat slowly got up, and while she was wounded slightly, the she-cat came up to Breezetail, and muttered softly, "If you are fine with it, I name you my new deputy."

And laziness so all my other cats were doing... something. idk

All Sunfur knew was that he had planned to help more than he did, but apparently he became a target as soon as he attacked a leader. Understandable, but it hurt like hell. ((<That's an excepted word right? I'l edit if not)) hen the blows hammered down on him, his mind grew foggy and he barely felt the last one. It all just went black, when the massive tom woke up he groaned, seeing Cinderfur walk up to him he rose, blinking a bit to clear his eyesight. After a moment he nodded, then spoke, "Yeah, but how is everyone else? And did we win this fight?" Dang...getting knocked out really sucked. You can't even know what happened to your own Clan...geez...

Deernose huffed when the she-cat he had attacked was defeated after multiple other blows from other cats. He stood there for a while, while the battle raged then quickly died with the arrival of a fifth clan. He glanced at his paws. Sticky and gleaming with blood, not one drop his own. His tail twitched in disgust, but after turning around, the Windclan tom wanted to throw up from the sight of the seas of blood. He couldn't hear the leaders arguing at all.

Pebblepaw shook the dust off her pelt. When did literally every cat in the forest get here? The spray of blood had reached even her corner of camp, making her fur look like lightly rusted metal. AndIdontknowwhattotypenext.

Ashcloud stepped aside to let the two mates look out. The white cat looked back into the dark den, resting his green eyes on the fearful kittens. He mouthed calming words, even though he knew that he looked to be simply a small silhouette. If one stood at the right angle, the Riverclan warrior could be easily mistaken for a young queen. With a quick turn of the head, he watched the leaders calmly argue. Odd to not see Reedstar there. It felt unnatural.

Irritated that his aooponent hadn’t responded, Foxfang shoved the Skyclan warrior away harshly. His stormy gray eyes flashed towards the newest arrival. Great. Couldn’t handle it and you flipped the odds. Pale ginger fur hiked up, making the already large tom appear twice his size. His tail lashed angrily, restless to claw at something.

Boop. Just as he had expected, Maplecloud had been knocked to the ground, fur soaking up blood like a sponge. Now his entire being was a rust color, unknown blood mixing with his own. He would not faint quite yet, however. He lay on his side eyes half open, breathing faint, but steady. Honey eyes peered around slowly, resting for a few moments on each exhausted form. Those eyes dropped a few times, before the Skyclan cat succumbed unconsciousness.

Fangpaw blearily opened her eyes, her wounds stinging until it almost felt unbearable, and stood up. When the she-cat reached out a paw to step into the shadows of camp, she felt herself stumbling forward. Before she knew it, her paw darted out to stop her fall and screeched as her shoulder jerked upward, out of its socket. "Great StarClan!" she gasped, dragging herself to the shadows. Sitting against the barrier, she winced as her shoulder ached. Suddenly, the world started spinning before she was dragged into darkness.

Lightningstrike turned from his sister and crept toward the shadows, his bright yellow eyes peering out of the darkness, claws aching to rip into pelts.

Rainpaw slid into the camp, glaring at the knocked out WindClan apprentice and hissing when she spotted a 'cowardly' ThunderClan warrior staring out of the shadows. Spitting, she stalked up to him and leaped, clawing his fur. "Take that, ThunderClan cat!" she growled, earning a loud yelp from Lightningstrike when claw connected with pelt.

Pitch black. Nothing. It seemed the world had blurred out the moment Lilystream fell to the ground, as the last thing she saw was Silverfang's paws. The battle, the yowls and cries, had died out. Blood dripped from her pelt, soaking the SkyClan grass beneath her (Lilystream: don't mind me adding some decoration to your camp). She felt weak... already? No, she couldn't give in. Opening her eyes, she saw the battlefield once again, cats who had fallen, cats who were still fighting. Oh, why did WindClan and ThunderClan have to start this bloodshed? Trying to get to her paws, pain ran through her head as she fell back into her state, letting out a small, quiet moan. She needed rest. Closing her eyes once again, Lilystream let her surroundings blur out.

Out of no where, something nudged her gently. Ending her state, Lilystream forced her eyes open, finding Otterfur. Scents wafted her nose, as the battle had came to a stop, or so it seems. It was more quiet, as Lilystream slowly looked around at the camp. Blood had spattered everywhere, even some of her own. Until she realised, Was I beaten that easily? Just one attack on Silverfang, then attacked by both Silverfang and the WindClan leader, Falconstar? She felt shame, feeling like she was useless to her Clan. Why did she have to-- no. Shaking her head, she couldn't think like that. Trying to get to her paws again, it seemed a bit easier this time. Looking back at Otterfur, the she-cat gave a polite nod in thanks for waking her.

Suddenly, another scent came, a familiar scent. She let out a gasp. ShadowClan! But which side were they on? She soon found Thrushstar, the ShadowClan leader. No, no more bloodshed! she thought, but only a coward would run away from a fight. WindClan and ThunderClan were injured, following with SkyClan and RiverClan, and now ShadowClan to join this bloodshed. All five Clans, in SkyClan camp.

Wildpaw opened her eyes, finding ShadowClan had turned up. Her first battle, and first time to see the Clans show up in battle. She would consider herself lucky, to experience such a battle at the age of an apprentice, but only if I were a strong warrior, I would've shredded them!

Falconstar forced his fur to lie flat, though inside he was boiling. How dare Thrushstar continue to accuse his warriors of murdering ShadowClan cats! He didn't believe any one of the cats in his clan had gone specifically out of their way to murder a random rival clan cat in cold blood; there would be no reason for it. "I don't appreciate your accusations, Thrushstar. I do not house any murderers within my clan. We all feel for the warrior you lost, but I will stand up for my clan against what you claim. I did not come here just to enact revenge, and I did not come here to take territory just to threaten your clan. If you're willing to talk rather than disregard my words over your fallen warrior, then we are here to discuss it. I do not wish to raise my claws against you or your clan, Thrushstar." He was more than willing to negotiate, and he hoped that Spottedstar was too, but he wasn't a fool enough to let his guard down: if ShadowClan was not feeling up to the discussion, he was prepared to defend himself and his clan.

As her mother licked the apprentice's fur Hawkpaw stirred a slightly, a small groan escaping her maw. Suddenly she sat up quickly, wincing at the soreness in her body before looking up to find her mother and sister watching her expectantly and worriedly. Giving the two a reassuring yet confused smile Hawkpaw looked around, trying to find her father and brother and figure out what was going on. Finding her father she follows his line of sight to the group of Shadowclan cats on the edge of what used to be the Skyclan camp but was now a battle field. Watching worriedly she struggled to sit up despite her aching body, willing to fight again if it was needed.

IC: Darkfrost drew away from his defeated opponent and joined his leader and fellow Clanmates in facing down the Clan to have arrived the latest. ShadowClan? They have no stake in this war... His lips drew back into a snarl and his hackles raised, but he quickly put on a mask of neutrality and flattened his fur when Thrushstar and Falconstar began to debate.

Sunface whipped around and stared at the ShadowClan leader with anger and disdain. She leapt to her leader's side defensively, backing away some when she saw the leaders trying to work things out civilly.

"Except that they have done no more damage than you have just done to them."

She gave an audible snort of indignation at this comment. As if cats who weren't present can make such a judgment! The ginger warrior meowed coolly, "You're wrong, Thrushstar. They took more lives in their attack on us than we have taken today. I was under the impression that ShadowClan was supposed to be neutral?" She didn't want to restart the bloodshed, but her temper was slowly rising. I should have used another word; maybe he doesn't understand 'neutrality'? The she-cat's tail lashed back and forth in vexation and her ears flattened against her head.

Keeping calm, the Shadowclan leader listened to Falconstar's words. "I know what I saw and what I smelled, Falconstar. Unfortunately, I cannot believe you when you say that you do not house a murderer. There was the smell of Windclan all over the scene and even on our warrior. Even still, if for some off chance that Windclan was not part of the murder, my trust has been lost and it can't be gained back with simple words," he paused for a moment, making sure that was all he wanted to say about that. "I don't want to fight as much as you do, but if I must, I will." When he finished speaking, his attention was quickly turned towards the Thunderclan warrior that spoke up close to Spottedstar. Keeping a straight face, he simply flicked an ear from irritation. "So you think it is still best to stoop down to their level and kill their own? All that has gotten you is the label of murderers as well, Thunderclan cat," He said, a little bit of venom in his words as he spoke. "As for neutrality, I have not taken any sides in this. My only job is to look after my clan, and after all of the events that have occurred in these past moons, I cannot trust Windclan nor Thunderclan to live in this territory without bringing some kind of harm to us. Skyclan has not hurt my clan, so until they do something to Shadowclan, I can't say I want them driven out. I am being very selfish in this matter, but I was chosen to lead Shadowclan and so that is exactly what I am doing. I will not bring my clan into this petty war unless it benefits us. Right now, I find it more beneficial to keep a clan in this territory that has not hurt Shadowclan in the past." At this point, Thrushstar's tail swished behind him in pure annoyance. He was here to figure things out, not fight with a Thunderclan warrior.

Spottedstar snorted, how dare Shadowclan be so close-minded. So what if nothing had happened to them in the past, when there is still the future still to come. Speaking her opinion, she slightly glared at Thrushstar. "But what of the future? Who would have thought that Elea would drive Riverclan and Skyclan to attack us? Just for rejecting their presence? I think if we have anyone to blame, its Elea that started all this." she paused and looked around the clearing, stopping to see the Skyclan leader, old and fragile. "I will not continue this battle unless provoked. So it is up to Shadowclan if this battle brings more bloodshed or not."

Falconstar gave a warning flick of his tail towards Spottedstar, trying to ignore the tense hisses around him as he slowly moved forward, until he was closer to Thrushstar. "I don't know who killed your warrior," he mewed softly, trying to keep himself from joining that crowd of angry emotions. He just wanted SkyClan and their band of murderous rogues out of here, not to fight with a third clan. "It's possible, as I mentioned to you privately at the Gathering, that a slain warrior of mine may have been involved, but they are dead now, Thrushstar. I know none of my warriors are murderers, and we do not threaten your clan. You must understand my reasoning for removing this 'clan' from the forest. They're rogues without morals, led by a Deomilite that we all banded together to defeat seasons ago. They stole our clan members, and even themselves housed a cat who murdered his father in my clan. I implore you to let us come to some kind of agreement. I cannot leave here now, for then the only reason to come was to destroy, and that is not what I came here to do."
