Cloudpaw and Mistpaw's Warrior Ceremony

With a grunt, a golden tom climbed the ceremony branch before clearing his kitty throat a bit and yowling, "All cat's old enough to catch their own prey gather for a Clan meeting!" Sunfur's amber eyes watched for any cats, it was weird doing a actual ceremony. But it felt pretty darn cool.

A silver tabby came jumping out of the apprentice's den, her fur bristling with excitement. This must be it! The long awaited warrior ceremony for Mistpaw! At least she hoped. Just in case, she began licking her fluffy fur down so as to not look like a complete mouse-brain. She took a seat in front of the large willow, hiding her joy as to look more mature. I really hope this is finally it!

Hearing Sunfur's call, the elegant light grey and white apprentice quickly groomed herself before exiting her old den. She bounded over to Mistpaw, excitement in her round blue eyes. "You think this is our warrior ceremony?" Cloudpaw whispered as she settled herself next to her in front of the willow.

As he saw the two apprentices this was for find their way to the clear he called out, "We gather today to make these two apprentices warriors. Cloudpaw, Mistpaw please step forward."

The first apprentice to step forwards was Cloudpaw, her head held high and sky-blue eyes shining. I can't believe it's finally happening! She was full of pride as she took a step closer to Sunfur, and a step closer to becoming a warrior of RiverClan!

So this was it!

Mistpaw tried as calmly as possible to step forward, puffing out her chest. Despite her attempts her body somehow bounced forward. Ahh, who cares! I'm going to be a warrior! I hope I'll have a cool name like Fishpelt! The excitement was pumping through her veins as she stared up at Sunfur, eyes beaming with the thought of her warrior name.

Sunfur smiled before speaking the ceremonial words, "I, Sunfur, deputy of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn." Then he paused before continuing along with the ceremony, "Cloudpaw and Mistpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

((Can you give me your warrior names? I forgot them like a dummy :P))

Mistpaw took a deep breath before uttering the words, "I do." The fulfilling sensation those two little words gave was amazing. A rush of pride fell over the soon-to-be-warrior. She glanced over at Cloudpaw, waiting to hear the same sentence from her Clanmate.

Ic: After Mistpaw answered the question, Cloudpaw lifted her chin and copied the other. "I do!" To be honest, it was a stupid question because even though she was half-ThunderClan, she had chosen to join RiverClan even though her only living family was in her half-blood Clan.

Ic- Ashcloud watched his apprentice proudly. It felt like not too long ago, he had met two kits by the river. The white tom purred in pride, Cloudpaw would soon be a warrior. He smiled, waiting for those last few words from Sunfur.

As the two spoke up, Sunfur smiled a bit before speaking with a hint of pride especially in these words. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. Mistpaw, from this moment you will be known as Mistfeather. Cloudpaw, from this moment you will be known as Cloudpool. We welcome you as full warriors of RiverClan." The golden tom smiled down at the two new warriors, nodding to them in a 'congratulations' way.

Cloudpool was almost bursting with pride, and thought she'd pop at any moment like a bubble. As she received her new warrior name, she felt as if she was not half-blood anymore, but a full sever of RiverClan. "Thank you, Sunfur." She purred before bounding off her previous mentor, Ashcloud. Her face was beaming and blue eyes shining. "Thank you, too, Ashcloud." Cloudpool touched her nose to his shoulder in gratitude, like she did when she was assigned to him.
