Cloudpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Mistfeather yowled as she leapt onto the old branch. Both her and Fishstar agreed this was long overdue, and the young tom deserved to join his sister in the warrior den.

Cloudpaw walked ouut of the apprentices den and sat beneath the willow branch. He knew what was about to happen. His sister Speckle____ became a warrior like a moon ago but Cloudpaw had gotten sick and had to take time off training until he was well enough again.

((Cloudfang, please))

"Cloudpaw, please step forward."

"I, Mistfeather, deputy of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in turn." Mistfeather smiled at the tom. "Cloudpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!" Cloudpaw said proudly. (short post :P)

OOC: Why didn't I see this? Tansypaw was lateness. Let's just pretend she magically apparates here.

Tansypaw watched with anticipation as her brother became a warrior. Hopefully it would be her turn soon.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Cloudpaw, from this day forward you shall be known as Cloudfang. RiverClan honours your patience and understanding." Mistfeather smiled at Cloudpaw and jumped off the willow branch to join the cheering cats.

"Cloudfang! Cloudfang!" Tansypaw cheered for her brother.

"Cloudfang! Cloudfang!" Specklestream smiled at her brother.

Cloudfang dipped his head in respect as his clan mates shouted his new name.
