Splashkit and Emberkits Apprentice Ceremony

Spottedfeather jumped atop the Highrock, calling for her clan.

Flowerfrost padded over to the Highrock, wondering what was happening now.

OOC: Another short post is also short. And boring.

Stormblase sat in the gathering spot and waited for Splashkit and Emberkit.

Phoenixflare munched on her bag of chips shuffled her paws in boredom as she glanced up at the Highrock, with dim golden eyes. Her flame-colored pelt burned like fire in the sun, and she shifted. "Mehh ...."

Falconflight watched the kits, he could feel the excitement in the air.

Ooc:lol fail just noticed this :P sorry the POV switch makes this sooo long. I'd like Splashkit's mentor to be Breezefeather, if she doesn't have an apprentice already.

Emberkit, realizing what this was about, hurriedly tidied herself up to the best of her ability, and helped Splashkit get some dust off of her, too. "You ready? I'm so excited!"

Splashkit nodded uncharacteristically fiercely, and padded out of the nursery after being groomed by Emberkit to near-perfection. "I hope I get Breezefeather," she whispered so lowly that only her sister could hear. "She's really nice. I just don't know if she has an apprentice."

Emberkit followed Splashkit, nearly jumping out of her fur in excitement. As they walked up to the highrock and ever closer to their apprenticeship, Emberkit felt like taking over the world muhahaha tackling Splashkit, just for lack of better ways to vent her overflowing excitement. "Who do you think my mentor will be?" she hissed nearly silently.

Splashkit shook her head almost impercievably, saying no to Emberkit's question. She didn't know enough warriors to have any sort of clue.

Spottedfeather called the apprentices forward, and continuing once they did. "Emberkit, Splashkit, you both have reached the age of 6 moons, and are ready to begin your training. Before you receive your warrior names, your mentors shall be Splashkit to Breezefeather, and Emberkit to Falconflight." she finished before jumping down from the highrock.

Emberpaw eagerly touched noses with Falconflight, hoping that she would get along with her new mentor. "What are we going to do first?"

Splashpaw nearly yowled in excitement when she heard that Breezefeather was going to be her mentor. After touching noses, and nearly caving Breezefeather's in, she decided to have a discussion with Breezefeather. "Can I go learn how to hunt? I want to catch a mouse for you!"

Falconflight was grateful for having a apprentice."You should sleep first so you don't get tired .Tomorrow I will show you the territory and maybe you can catch a mouse."He thought out loud."I'm going to make the best warrior Thunderclan will ever see."

Emberpaw ran to the apprentice den after listening to falconflight, and fell asleep rather quickly.

Splashpaw followed Emberpaw, and snuggled up next to her for warmth, falling asleep moments after her sister.

Stormblaze smiled. He looked over at Falconflight.
"Emberpaw and Splashpaw are very strong ones," he said to both Breezefeather and Falconflight.
"And also, congrats on the apprentices guys," Stromblaze smiled.

Breezefeather smiled. "Thanks, I was hoping I would be mentoring Splashpaw." She purred after watching them scamper to the apprentice den.
