Hailkit, Tigerkit, Splashkit, Redkit, and Birchkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Darkstar leaped up onto the Highrock, not quite prepared to perform this ceremony. There were just so many kits. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

"Close your eyes, I'll be here in the mornin'."

Ploverheart padded out of the warrior's den, gazing up at Darkstar perched upon the Highrock. He purred with amusement and settled in in the clearing, tail twitching mildly.

Cloudstorm padded over leading five of her seven kits to the high rock.

Hailkit, Tigerkit, Splashkit, Redkit, and Birchkit oadded after their mother ready to recieve their apprenticeship.

Darkstar took a deep breath before she began the ceremony. She looked to Cloudstorm with newfound respect. These were only five out of seven. How the she-cat kept them under control was a mystery to her. "Hailkit, Tigerkit, Splashkit, Redkit, and Birchkit. Each of you have reached the age of six moons and it is time that all of you shall be apprenticed. From this moment on, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Hailpaw, Tigerpaw, Splashpaw, Redpaw, and Birchpaw." Her gaze switched to her uncle, giving him a look. He was here, so he was going to help with this wave of new apprentices. "Hailpaw, your mentor will be Ploverheart. Tigerpaw, your mentor is Lionspark. Splashpaw, your mentor will be Rainwhisper. Redpaw, Blizzardshine is your mentor. Last, but not least, Birchpaw, your mentor will be Stonestrike." She was a tad out of breath after that! Hopefully their warrior ceremonies would be like this too.

Ploverheart's ears pricked, and he quickly blinked away his surprise. With a huff he rose to his paws,, seeking out his new apprentice. He gave the young cat a cheery grin, and reached down to touch noses with Hailpaw. "You're going to love being an apprentice. Training starts tomorrow!"
