Friendship Lasts Forever

"You okay?" Lightkit teased.

"Yeah." He said getting up after a couple moments longer. "I should be fine now." he said as he got ready for her to start running again.

Lightkit sat up and looked around "Let's explore." she said before padding off.

Relieved that they wouldn't be walking, he let out a sigh and started to follow close behind her. "Anywhere specific?" he asked.

"There!" she said, heading for a bush.

Huh? A bush? What a weird place to go, but he wouldn't say no. He followed her, but he just had to ask why. "Lightkit, what's so special about a bush?"

"Use your imagination!" Lightkit said. She thought for a moment. "I know! Its your den! You're the leader!" she said playfully.

"Oh, ummm. Okay." He said. He laid himself down and looked at the bush. He liked what Lightkit was doing for him. Ever since he met her, he had become more social.

Lightkit went over to him and batted his ear. "Come on! Play!!" she exclaimed.

"Okay Okay! Just stop doing that." He got up, and walked into the bush. Is this really happening right now? He didn't really want to do this, but he felt he had to.

Lightkit followed him. "Okay. Use your imagination. Close your eyes, but open your mind."

"Okay." he said slowly. He did what she said. He didn't really get what she meant, but he would try.

"Now. What's the first thing you think of when I say bush?" Lightkit asked.

He thought of green when she said bush, but knew what she wanted to hear. "I think of den."

"Don't go off my idea. Figure out your own." she said.
