Sunny Day, Many Kits [OPEN]

ThunderClan has a lot of kits. Dawnfire just had kits, and so did Sunface. And Copperkit was excited, because he and his siblings would be six moons soon.

He tumbled out of the nursery head-first, bashing straight into a tree on the opposite side of the clearing. He popped straight back up on his feet, shaking himself vigorously and regaining the silly grin on his face. Scraping a ball of moss together, he ran back into the nursery and hurled it straight at his siblings, who were all trying to sleep. "Get up! I wanna play!" he whined, bouncing all over them. "Come onnnn!" When they only groaned at him, he pounced on his mother. "Mama, will you play with me?"

Blackkit was in the corner of the Nursery, watching the cat. She didn't know how he could so energetic. Maybe it was because. Was there something he was happy about? She couldn't stop thinking about why he was so happy. She didn't know her parents, so maybe a couple friends could fill the hole. She couldn't find out what to say though. She didn't want to seem weird either. She started to think of things to say to him that wouldn't make her sound weird. She couldn't find one sentence. She just kept watching him, hoping to figure something out soon.

Foxkit- Copperkit's brother- crouched unnoticed on the other side of his mother. Silently grinning, the ginger leaped over Sunface, tackling Copperkit to the ground. Growling playfully," Muhahaha I got you!" His slender tail lashed, looking very tempting to pounce on.

"Mmm... Go play outside, kits..." Sunface mumbled in her sleepy state. She gently pushed the lump that was Copperkit and Foxkit away with a hind leg and shifted, trying not to disturb the rest of her litter. "You're too big to be wrestling around in here."

Addertail padded into camp, watching the rest of the patrol disperse off through the camp to do something else. He yawned, having been on the dawn patrol this morning, but currently was free. Perhaps he'd go check on Sunface and the kits? His tail swayed in the air happily, happy he was a father now. Who knew Mr. I'm-going-to-be-a-fearless-warrior-with-no-distractions would actually have family? Okay, it really wasn't that unbelievable. A lot of toms settled down to watch little bundles of fur bounce around next to their mate, so it was normal.
Addertail padded over to the nursery, poking his head in and tipping his head. "Good morning, little ones." He purred, seeing they were awake and active. He glanced up at the sleepy Sunface and smiled. "I can watch them if you need some rest. Are the others still asleep?" He meowed, looking around for the other kits of their litter.

Frostkit peeked up from beside his mother looking at the odd ball of fluff scampering with others. They rough and tumbled over one another. Reaching out with a paw he attempted to prod about his surroundings. To explore all of what he could. He let out a squeak as a weight squished him and in a bout of sudden terror a harsh sound escaped his throat.

Frostkit batted at the other scrambling back to his mothers side shaking slightly. Though he didn't feel any pain. The sudden impact had utterly frightened him. Though his legs weren't very sturdy beneath him and got up and arched his back and let out a little stuttering hiss. Though he felt a little scared he didn't want them to squish his mother like they had done to him.
"Stay back furball," Frostkit growled staring at the other kit.

"That's not very nice, Frostkit~" Came a purr. Firekit, pelt of a burning orange and eyes of a dark forest-green, she lifted her head to look over her slumbering mama.
"Besides... You're too fat to get squished."She was teasing, of course, that was just her way of interacting. Firekit was a trickster in more ways than one.

Suddenly her father came into view. Climbing over Sunface, unknowingly kicking her in the face at the same time, she bounced up to him. "Hi, Daddy! Wanna play a game with us?"

Frostkit frowned looking over at the little she cat. It wasn't nice to squish others either. He relaxed ever so slightly unable to keep from admiring her pelt. It was so beautiful and his was so bland and plain. It almost made him a little jealous but he didn't say anything.
"Hey I'm not fat Firekit!" Frostkit complained looking at her, "see?"

At this he took a deep breath sucking in his stomach. Frostkit deflated in a puff as Firekit bounced over to Sunface. With a scowl he sat down stubbornly. His dad was probably off on some big important warrior mission and he was stuck here. It was no fun especially when all the other kits kept squishing him. He perked up slightly at the prospect of someone playing with them. Getting to his paws he scampered over to them.
"Yeah please Sunface please play with us," Frostkit pleaded weaving in and out between the big toms legs.

Ooc: Sunface is their mom. Firekit is talking to Addertail, who's her and a few others' dad x3

Ic: Addertail looked down at them warmly. "If your mother says you can come outside and play, then yes of course." He purred. He backed out of the entrance in case someone needed to go in or out. "We can't play in here though; it's too crowded. Someone might step on you." The tom said, sitting just outside and peeking in from there. With all the new kits, there was no doubt that the Nursery was getting a little too full. When Sunface's own litter had been born, he had been surprised at how many kittens she had...Created. Honestly, it had scared him a little at first, not knowing if he'd be able to watch out for all of them all at the same time. Luckily it wasn't as bad as he had thought, and it made him wonder how his mate managed to get them to sleep at night.

"You left me!" A squeak came from the other side of the nursery. An orange puff soon emerged from behind Sunface, as Flamekit climbed to reach her sister. Similar to her sister Flamekit was orange with olive eyes.

Quickly Flamekit came over to Firekit, and there dad. She was bouncing up a down excitedly. "What are we gonna play? What are we gonna play?"

The overwhelmed queen grunted when her daughter kicked her in the face. "Yes, please play outside." This is your fault! She thought, looking at her mate with a tired expression. "Why don't you show them around camp?" Seeing that her last kit climbed over her and to their father, she followed them outside the cramped den and breathed in the fresh air. Her mouth hung open, welcoming the scents of trees and prey. She missed strolling through the snow in the morning.

Yet another ginger came up next to Addertail to ask his father to play. Accidentally smooshing his brother's muzzle with a white back paw; Foxkit squeezed out of the nursery, and when his hips were free, he popped out of the den, bouncing up, down, to, and fro. It felt great out here!

At this news Firekit bolted right out the nursery's entrance, her slim body barely touching it's sides. Once her paws hit the snow she was all over the place once again. Hopping from her brother Foxkit, the nursery entrance, Addertail, Sunface, and then back over to Foxkit. She was messing up the freshly fallen snow.

ooc; Sometimes I can't keep up with my own characters. I had to reread that twice because I thought it sounded weird @_@;

Moonkit padded out of the nursery and bumped into Firekit."Sorry,Firekit,I wasn't looking."She whispered.

Ic: Addertail chuckled and sat down outside. "Well, what do you want to play? Firekit already seems to be having fun with the snow." He purred in amusement, looking at his flame-colored kitten nearby. He suddenly hoped she wouldn't get a cold, and realized his fatherly-thoughts were coming up again. He almost chuckled at himself.
