Plague [Site Event]

Nightpaw smiled and nodded. His voice was too croaky to speak and he couldn't open his eyes, but he could definitely recognise Moonpaw's voice. He hopes that the medicine cat could cure them soon.

"Silverleaf, get lots of wet moss and give them to each sick cat," he told her. He didn't have an apprentice anymore and Silverleaf was one of the few healthy cats. The medicine cat set down a couple juniper berries, yarrow, a little catmint, and one poppy seed next to Nightpaw and Moonpaw. "Make sure you eat all of them," he told the two, nodding over to Silverleaf."She'll bring over some wet moss for both of you."

Moonpaw slowly ate everything that was put before her, keeping her eyes trained on Nightpaw.

OOC: Um, Fyr. I love you and all, but Mallowroot turns in their erection? o.O um okay.

Silverleaf nodded and raced out of camp. Finding some moss, she quickly scraped it off of the tree where she found it and soaked it in water. Running back to camp, she placed a wad of wet moss by Moonpaw and Nightpaw and went of to give the others some, too.

Redshade growled in annoyance as everyone kept panicking and running around like idiots. Where was Soulfang? His brother would definitely side with him on this, even if others didn't. "Uhg, at least calm down. It's just a little sickness! If it kills you then you're weak, and if you know you're not weak then you should be fine." He snapped, rolling his eyes. His clanmates were beginning to annoy him, even if it was a panic-worthy situation. But what did he care? They were basically all getting similar ideas, several relating to stealing prey, so why didn't they just do it before more Shadowclan cats died?

Redpaw saw some cats standing around Moonpaw, who had collapsed on the ground. She went over. "Moonpaw? Moonpaw!" Redpaw clawed the ground in frustration. "Isn't there anything I can do?" she asked, half wailing in frustration, half actually asking the warriors nearby.

"I'm okay." Moonpaw whispered, getting up weakly. "No need to freak out." Moonpaw said with a slight chuckle.

Scorchclaw odded in response to Redshades declaration. "We should raid then right now before anyone dies." The dark grey tom added then turned to Heavykit, who was chewing on medicine. "I know he will live." He whispered to himself under his breath with releif.

Hawkpaw groaned and tossed around in the apprentice den. Coughing and choking, hawkpaw sat up. His whole body felt hot with fever and he was so skinny his ribs were poking out. He felt horrible.

"It's not just you!" Redpaw sighed, "It's the whole clan." She realized that she was flinging dirt everywhere, so she stopped clawing the ground with some effort.

Nightpaw ate the herbs, before asking Mallowroot, "Hey Medicine Cat? Is there anything for my eyes? They hurt a lot when I open them and everythings all blurry. Will I be ok?"

Mallowroot thought about Nightpaw's question as he set the same herbs next to Hawkpaw, the yarrow, juniper berries, and a bit of catmint. Was there a cure for it? Mallowroot was busy treating what seemed like every cat in the Clan. "Just get some sleep and make sure you stay hydrated," he ordered, nodding to the moss Silverleaf was setting next to every sick cat. "You should be fine then..." The medicine heard Scorchclaw's comments and scampered up, but before he ran off he turned to Nightpaw. "And it's not just 'Medicine Cat'," he grumped, "It's Mallowroot."

Whitepaw was avoiding all the cats in the clan and stayed a way from camp for almost everyday.
