Ivykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Raccoonstar dragged herself out of her den, and slowly made her way up to the tall rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath tall rock for a clan meeting!" She let the yowl ring through the camp.

Ivykit ran to the Tall Rock, a grin on her face. OOh! I hope it is my day! Realizing that she should act like a sensible apprentice, she quickly calmed down and sat down.

Twistedpaw limped from the apprentice den; letting out a yawn. His eyes quickly brighten when he saw the happy look on Ivykit's face. It was her apprentice ceremony wasn't it? He quickly hurried over to his spot and sat down; waiting for the ceremony to start.

Stormeye soon made his way from the elder's den, his eyes dull. He glanced around the clearing when he spotted his son and made his way over; sitting next to Twistedpaw as he also awaited for the meeting to begin.

Lavenderkit bounced out of the nursery after Ivykit. How fun, a clan meeting! The kit had finally gotten use to being in WindClan, but she still had a faint memory that Silentstar would come back one day. Shaking the evanescent memory away, Lavenderkit wondered why they were gathering today. "Twistedpaw, Ivykit, what're we gathering for today? An apprentice meeting? I'd love to know who's it is!" the kit said quickly. She was quite hyper today, though it was quite adorable. Her eyes were big and full of curiosity.

Raccoonstar waited as her clan gathered, then she looked down at Ivykit and smiled. "Today, we are gathered here to make a kit into an apprentice." The leader said. "Ivykit will you please step forward."

Ivykit felt a surge of joy when Raccoonstar called her name. Stepping for ward, her eyes were round with excitement.

"I'm guessing Ivykit," Twistedpaw whispered softly with a small laugh to Lavanderkit, before being shushed by his father. With a sigh, he sat tall; waiting for the rest of the ceremony to be carried out.

Raccoonstar paused for a moment before reciting the ceremony. "Ivykit from this moment on you will be known as Ivypaw. Patcheye will be your mentor." She mewed to the clan, happy with her choice.

Ivypaw did what apprentices usually did formally, then went to go sit by her mentor.
