Territory Tour

OOC: I apologize for my reaction in my Frozen Heart topic and deleting those posts xD What I should have done is give an explanation. And just for context, Reedheart feels terrible and awful because he killed a rogue named Thierry during the Deomilites battle with no hesitation.

IC: Reedheart paced around camp, but his heart still felt heavy. He'd only been able to get out of that place on the verge of starvation practically, and his fur looked like it barely clung to his bones even now. Still, he needed to train Mistpaw. RiverClan needed warriors. The Clan came first, and he needed to get out of this... funk.

Still, he debated on what to do. Hunting training? Newleaf was here after all, and the river would be growing... no. He could do without killing anything now. To dig his claws into his prey... it'd be too much.

A border patrol would do. Mistpaw could get to know her own territory better, anyways...

Mistpaw was by a tree just kinda dozing. When she saw the awful sight of Reedheart. She got up and was a bit annoyed at him for not doing any training, or talking to her. Maybe she needed to talk to him? Mistpaw got up and walked over to him. "Reedheart, a-are you okay?" She sifted her paws looking down.

Reedheart turned his head to face his apprentice. Mistpaw had been an apprentice for awhile now and he'd barely even spoke to her. He was a terrible mentor. A terrible warrior. Just look at him, slowly starving himself because of something he did right... Reedheart even heard rumors that Silvershade had killed multiple cats that night.

Was it the right thing, though?

Reedheart nodded his head. "I'll be fine, Mistpaw. How about a walk around the territory?"

Mistpaw tipped her head. "R-Readheart, you don't look like you are up for the job." She looked at him looking slowly, to nose to tail-tip. Junk. Junk on every fur strained. "Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yes, of course." Reedheart insisted, turning tail and beginning to walk out of camp. "You need to know your own territory, don't you?" The brown tabby slowly put a paw in the water surrounding RiverClan camp. The last time he had crossed it was coming back from the battle, splashing around like a kit from the realization of what he'd done...

No, he needed to get these thoughts out of his head. Besides, a bit of water would probably do him good. Reedheart was positive he smelled awful.

Mistpaw slowly followed after him, she put a paw in the water. It was cold but it could do. She got in after him. She loved water. But when she looked over at Reedheart he looked ever skinnier. She sighed, still crossing.

Reedheart swam to the other side, slipping out without even shaking the water from his fur. "Keep up!" he called over his shoulder before bolting forward and disappearing into the reeds after he was named, pebbles clacking together and dust rising into the air. The river was his first stop, but he didn't need to bother telling Mistpaw that. If she got lost or couldn't keep up, it'd be good practice for her tracking. That's how he tried to rationalize it, anyways.

Ic: Mistpaw came out of the water, watching Reedheart run off. She flickered her ears. His scent would be covered by the water. But the water wouldn't dry so quickly, right? She flicked off the water from her paws and set of after him. She got lost for a moment. She called after him. "Reedheart?" she flickered her ears for movement or sounds...
