Downpour [P12]

Lurching forward, Kestrelflight bursted across the battle field, a leaf bundle if cobwebs in her mouth. "Stormstar!" She shrieked, unbundling the cobwebs and placed them on the wound.

Baldwin gasped with pain as he felt paws smack down on him, the blunt force causing him to get hit into the mud. "Your false demons... They're powerless!" Baldwin screeched, slowly regaining his paws. "You'll die! They'll die! Your Clans will die!" With that, he swung his paw forward and let his claws graze Nightwing's muzzle, catching some whiskers as it whisked by.

Baldwin used Front Paw Strike, dealing 14 damage and using up 10 stamina.

Melisende yowled in pain and shuddered, but kept her paws wrapped around Froststar's head. "N-no...!" she choked out. She could feel her strength beginning to ebb, but she still didn't move to escape. "You're wrong... You don't know what it's like..." she hissed. There was no way she was going to let this... this... barbarian tell her these things. She knew nothing!

Melisende used Upright Lock, doing 20 damage and using up 25 stamina.

Emicho tumbled backwards from Raccoonheart's attack, her previously pretty fur and features slicked in mud. She shook her head, trying to concentrate. This wasn't the end. This couldn't be the end. "T-the..." Emicho choked out, glaring at Raccoonheart with all her hatred. "The... gods... will... reward me..."

And with that, she leaped into the air towards Raccoonheart, eyes flaring menacingly with anger.

With strength that was admirable, and even impressive when considering his age, Urban thrust his legs up and kicked the two cats off. With that, he regained his paws and stared at the two, amber eyes flaring. "You know nothing." he rasped, sheathing his claws and settling down, sitting and wrapping a white tail around his paws. With the rain pouring down, it was easy to see the muscle underneath his fur.

I do not have much time left, now.

A smile slowly grew on Urban's face. This was a completely different demeanor than just moments ago...

"The Deomilites will die. I will die. You will all die. StarClan will die. But even if you win and live... Do you think that this war is over?" Gently, his eyes closed. He looked like a peaceful elder right then, enjoying Greenleaf's rays.

Raccoonheart quickly meet Emicho with attack by jumping toward her too, but tackled her to the ground. Without pausing to think for a moment, the deputy sunk her teeth into the she-cats throat, and waited for Emicho's life to leave her. After standing there for a moment the gray she-cat let go of Emicho, and let her body slump to the ground. "Where are your gods now?" She spat at the body before her, glaring at the she-cat, with her blue eyes that seemed like ice, one last time.

Raccoonheart was just about to go find someone else to attack when a shrill shriek came upon her ears. She froze in fear when her mind finally processed the words that were being screeched. The deputy started searching frantically for her mate, she froze, once again, once her eyes laid upon his dead body. Her mind couldn't even comprehend what was happening until she felt Kestrelflight race by her. After Raccoonheart snapped out of her trance, she raced over to her mates body, and sat down next to him. "Stormstar.. no..." She whispered under her breath, shock in her eyes.

Emicho yowled as she felt her attack get intercepted, and her eyes and mouth shot open when she felt teeth dig into her neck. This couldn't be happening. Killed? Just like that? No sound came out as her mouth moved, trying and failing to make words.

"They... they're... waiting for me..." Emicho finally choked out, blood bubbling from the wound on her neck before she went limp and her eyes glazed over, staring lifelessly up at the sky.

Walter looked down at the body of the WindClan leader with a look of triumph, pausing and giving prayer to the Gods watching - satisfied in the revenge of Peter and all those who were taken by this heretic's paw. Distracting himself with his head bowed, he hadn't seen Flamestar return - falling out of the sky and landing on him. Walter let out a shriek. Before he could formally react, the tom felt a sharp pain in his neck and fell limp.

Sagestar luckily felt the lesser impact, easily stopping himself from skidding across the rock as the two of them were tossed off. The gray tabby gritted his teeth, "You all really are insane. Your rogues. Your Gods. Everything you know, it all ends here. This war is over." The ShadowClan leader made another leap, barreling into Urban. The tom stuck close to the elder, snapping his jaws several times at his neck until the deed was done.

"Hmph. Naive."

Urban stumbled backwards from Sagestar's sudden hit, and his amber eyes glazed over as he felt Sagestar's teeth dig into his neck. A killing bite.

"Death and life have contended in that combat stupendous; the Princes of life, who died, reign immortal."

Urban stepped back, blood pouring from his neck, the smile fading. Another step back, and another, until he hung dangerously over the edge of the Great Rock.

Another step.

A flying spinning blur of white, he fell down and down until he landed with a loud splash, sending a spray of mud up. Then he was still, laying beside the bodies of Amalric and Godfrey.

Reedheart stared down at Thierry, hate burning in his stomach. "You're weak. You're pathetic." he growled. "It's not as easy as killing innocent kits, is it?!" he yelled. The stories of the rogues slaughtered at Twolegplace burned brightly in his mind.

These were not cats.

They're not cats. They're not cats. They're not cats. he repeated in his mind, until the hesitation washed away and Reedheart craned his neck down, clamping his jaws around Thierry's neck until he felt blood rise into his mouth and the cat's struggling stopped.

Froststar coughed quietly, blood bubbling up in her throat. The ground was a dusty brown and a dark red, painted with both the leader and the commander's blood. The air around her was thick with the scent of blood and death, and she couldn't hear anything with the heavy ringing in her ears. Was this the end? She pondered, strangely calm as she began to close her eyes. She would accept death, and leave it to faith to bring her back.
She was completely unaware of the events going on around her. She didn't see Urban fall, she didn't see the brutal attack against Stormstar, or her warriors fighting. Her whole world, her whole life was focused on this moment. The end, it seemed. Or at least it felt like it. Froststar was aware that she would come back, but that didn't make dying any less painful.
The dark, cold grasp of death seemed too strong to fight off, but a sudden spark of fire lit in her heart. Her eyes flew open, and time seemed to stop as the calico looked up at Melisende. She drug her back claws sharply into the she-cat's stomach, ripping out bits of fur and skin. She gave the cat a look of pride, lifting her chin slightly and narrowing her eyes, though she said nothing. She wouldn't allow herself to go down without a fight.
Then Froststar waited for the end.

Froststar used Belly Rake, dealing 20 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Silvershade grinned widely as she saw that the notorious leader had fallen, along with the majority of his halfwit Deos. She then looked closer at the three bodies next to eachother- one was not a Deos. Or atleast, is no longer a Deos. She never noticed his death as she was too busy going batshet crazy killin shet and lowered her head in a small dip of gratitude, and raised it once more, padding over to a nearby warrior, eyeing their wounds and then looking back at her own. She herself hadn't been hurt too bad, but her leader sure was much worse off than her, she noticed, as she saw her battling one of the halfwits. "Is it over?" she asked quietly, surveying the bodies strewn across the ground and the remaining Deos dropping like flies.

With a dark, unnatural glint to his emerald eyes, the gray tabby watched as Urban stumbled back - bright red staining the snow white fur of his neck, before slipping back and plummeting down the Great Rock. He said nothing, simply padding to the edge and peering down, to be sure that the elder one was finished. The tom dug his claws into the ground. He was dead. The cat that had killed Amalric. The monster that had them driven out of their own home. It was over. Sagestar killed him.
The ShadowClan raised his head back and let out a yowl, sounding over the harsh winds to announce the victory - the death of their so called prophet.
He should've felt better, maybe happy even for this sweet revenge, but he felt nothing. And as his gaze traveled past the still body of Urban, resting on a familiar golden pelt, only one emotion finally came to rise. Grief.

He looked at Lionstar for but a split second, saying nothing and jumping off the great rock, landing unsteadily on the ground. Sagestar walked up to his friend side, "Amalric...?" He meowed in wonder. Maybe the tom was alright. He was strong, maybe he'd survive this... though, in the back of his mind - passing the two other bodies, he knew it was a lost cause. In pain, he shut his eyes.

The two she-cats were weak, surely. Melisende was surprised, almost impressed, that she was still conscious. Melisende gasped in pain from Froststar's attack, but it only proved to anger her further.

"T-time to... die...!" Melisende choked out between gasps. With that, the white she-cat sunk her teeth into the RiverClan leader's neck. Melisende held on for just a moment before loosening her grip, sliding off Froststar's body and panting heavily. Finally.

Froststar let out a short, quiet gasp as her world spun. She was vaguely aware of a sharp pain in her neck. Claws? Teeth? She wasn't sure anymore. She was cut off from the world, drowning in her own blood. She tried to breathe, but ever breath was replaced by a trickle of blood running down her neck. The calico's fur was coated with the metallic liquid. The white was stripped from her fur, and she looked like a battered heap of roses and shadows. For a moment she laid there, a peaceful calm draping over her like a blanket of snow. Her body was going cold. Icy blue eyes began to glaze over, but before that she caught one last glance at a blur of grey fur far off, near the great rock. Relieved that Sagestar was alive, the she-cat closed her eyes. She could go now. He was safe. She could go.

Froststar took her final breath, then her world faded away.

It was a strange thing, having multiple lives. Each one felt like your last, and you never knew when you could stop breathing. Forever. It was a suspenseful push and pull motion; you pushed yourself over the edge, and yet somehow you were pulled back. This is what happened to Froststar. She closed her eyes in the real world, and woke anew in the spiritual one. The calico looked around as Fourtrees materialized around her. Her head was a foggy mess as she tried to piece everything together. She looked around. There was no blood. No cats. No violence. Silence and peacefulness wrapped its tail around the clearing. Froststar sighed in content, taking just a moment to forget about the world. A cat stepped up, and she immediately recognized him as her past mentor. She jumped up to her feet in surprise. "Minnow-"
"Froststar. We don't have time to chat." He began curtly, taking no time for greetings. "You must return. Your battle isn't over yet, my apprentice." His dark green eyes grew soft, and a ghost of a smile appeared in his eyes, yet never reaching his face. "Take 'em down, alright?" The past deputy winked, before the world around her twisted like blood in water, curling and turning and washing away.

Lionstar blinked, looking at Sagestar in surprise. But it quickly disappeared, and instead, he bowed his head respectfully to the tom before leaping down the Great Rock along its side where it was safer. He looked around the gathering before raising his chin and tail high, claws sheathed and blood coating his body from the battle. He'd leave Sagestar to look over Amalric's body...For now, he would deal with this.

"The battle is won!" Lionstar yowled loudly, yellow eyes glimmering with triumph. "Urban is dead, and unless the remainder of his allies wish to perish beneath the clans' claws, I suggest you leave while you can. This war is over, for the clans have risen victorious!"

Feeling his claws just miss her face, Nightwing hissed with rage, and twitched her wiskers to rebalance. "We will not die. Generations of our ansesters have entrusted the forest to our clans. We will never give up. Your group will perish, and the clans will return home." A smirk appeared on her face as she heard ThunderClan's leader call out. "Also, it seems like your leader has died." Turning around, the deputy let out a cry of triumph. Pride shone in her eyes, and one thought crossed her mind. We get to go home now!

Flamestar looked up, blood coating most of his fur. How many cats has he killed today? At least it didn't give him the sick feeling that he got when he killed Icestream...These cats deserved to die. He leaped up onto the same tree branch he had attacked Walter from, except this time he stood on the edge, in clear view of the rest of the cats. He followed up Nightwing's triumphant cry with his own, but his claws stayed unsheathed, just in case.

"We have won!"

Silvershade let out a yowl of triumph. "We are victorious, and you halfwits are powerless without your joke of a leader!" She pranced over to where the leaders were gathering, and the fighting cats were now finishing off their opponents-- she was almost there, until she spotted a pile of matted orange, black and red fur. It looked strangely like.. no, it can't be. She paused for a moment in realization and screeched. "Froststar!" Of course, all dem kitties were a mile of matted bodies away from her, so of course dey couldnt do shet.
