Morningpaw's Border Patrol {Open}

Ooc: Anyone can join. It's mainly for Morningpaw's Border Patrolling Training, but I want to try something a it more real...Like in the books. It might make things more interesting with more people.

Ic: Lionstar waited at the camp entrance for his new apprentice, Morningpaw. Today,she was going to go on a border patrol with him and perhaps some of the other warriors. He looked around, trying to spot a warrior free for a patrol.

Morningpaw had the most unusual night of sleeping without her mother. It had at first been thrilling, but after she woke up from a nightmare, and had no warmth and loving care to sooth her back to sleep, she had stayed up all night. Of course there were other factors, like how she was too excited about training and what it would be like.

Nevertheless the kit was partially drunk-tired and partially excited out of her wits. All together the making of a down right eventful day. Bouncing up to her mentor the apprentice excitedly poked her with her tail, "What are we going to do today? Huh, huh, huh?"

"I'm going to take you on a border patrol, so pay close attention. This is an important lesson." He replied sternly, flicking the tip of his tail. "If you don't learn how to properly patrol, an enemy could sneak in without you knowing."

Well, the leader certainly had a different outlook on this than Morningpaw. In fact, the kit suddenly didn't feel as energetic, but more-- meh. The apprentice nodded willingly, urging her mentor to go on. "Oh," The young cat mewed, "That's not good!" Eyes suddenly wide and fur suddenly sticking straight up, the kit scanned the area around her, but seeing as the had yet to leave the camp, all she saw was a few warriors finally waking up.

Mosspelt emerged from the warrior den and walked to the cats, "Would you mind if I joined you two on a...border patrol?" he guessed

"That would be great." Lionstar gratefully replied. "And yes, this is a Border Patrol. Morningpaw's first, actually." He confirmed.

Embershade padded out of the warriors den. "Mind if Swiftpaw and I join you on the border patrol?" She asked, having already heard some of the conversation.

OOC: If so, I'll PM Swift...

Ooc:I would just like to put it out there, that this is Morningpaws FIRST ever lesson. I don't mind maybe one more cat joining, but I would like to keep it small.

Morningkit looked at all of the joining cats and narrowed her eyes at them. Sizing them up, without them possibly knowing it, unless they were trained in reading body language of course. The kit bounced up to them, purring and dipping her head out of respect.

Ooc: Keep in mind that it's nice to benefit others as well, since Kip's apprentice needs a Border Patrol as well. It may be a first time, but a full border patrol doesn't mean you won't get trained...

Ic: Lionstar nodded and waited patiently, tail curled around his feet. "More the merrier, I suppose. As long as their isn't too many cats." He chuckled.

Ooc: I'm sorry if this is rude, but I'm not trying to not "benefit others". I wasn't saying that I didn't want Swift to join the topic either, so don't think that, I was saying that I didn't want this to be a HUGE topic where I got behind and left out of the topic because everyone is posting without me, while this was initially Morning's training topic! (Trust me, something similar has happened!) I also realise that Morning will be trained and that's not what I'm trying to say. I really don't want to start an argument, but I wanted to clear the air, because I feel like you misunderstood what I was trying to say in my earlier post. And also, PLEASE don't think that I don't like the border patrol, actaully I think it's quite a lovely idea! c:

Morningkit was nearly jumping out of her skin while waiting for her mentor to get started. When's this gonna' start?" The apprentice asked, with wide eyes beaming up at the leader. Because she was so excited for the longly aticipated first training that she would nearly explode must she wait any longer!

Swiftpaw yawned as she came out of the den but seeing the cats beginning to gather added new energy to her paws. She would get to see the outskirts of their territory today there were so many things to see and do that she couldn't wait.

"Mornning! How are you Morningpaw?" Swiftpaw asked as she sat down next to the apprentice.

Ooc: It's alright X) I was just trying to reassure you that this topic is dedicated to your training, and I'll make sure you won't get left behind, so no worries! :)

Ic: "As soon as Embershade gets Swiftpaw." Lionstar purred in amusement. The apprentice was so bouncy and excited. Which was a good thing, as long as she didn't get carried away. But he was sure she would focus when they got outside and her energy was released.

Then he noticed Swiftpaw padding over. "Oh good morning Swiftpaw. You're just in time for a Border Patrol." He explained.

"Should we leave now?" Asked Embershade. "I can tell Swiftpaw is getting excited." She smiled.

MOsspelt sat and watched as his old apprentice and her apprentice joined them. He just sat quietly not wanting to get left behind.

Swiftpaw smiled and realized that they were about to go out into the forest and her excitement was just about to boil over.
