| Enro wasn't particularly listening at Elden, but simply staring at the food.. Until of course the older man held up the knife, shaking it slightly. "Well how will we carry out our destiny if you kill us all, hmm?" Enro asked, a sly smile splitting his lips as his gaze drifted towards the pheasant. ______________________________________ Art credit to Grey. |

| Akila glared at Elden, as he threatened them. She reached her hand to her side and removed her dagger from it's sheath. She brought up the dagger in held it in front of her. "I don't think it would be wise Elden." Akila said, staring at the blade she held in her hand. She placed her dagger on the table. She slowly reached and got some soup in her bowl. She took an amount the would be enough to give her energy for a while but not enough to stuff herself. After she placed her bowl down in front of her again, she took a spoon, and started eating not caring what the others did. She had food, and she was happy. ______________________________________ "끝나지 않은 이 소설의 페이지 마지막까지 함께 채울래" Tigerstar ✦ Blackpaw ✦ Owlcall ✦ Harespring ✦ Ravenfall ✦ Otterkit Windclan ✦ Thunderclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan Leader (Tier 5) ✦ Apprentice ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 1 ✦ Kit Reaper's Beans | Plotting Pages | Heartchart |

| Yvara noticed Elden's reaction, and could tell that everyone was as ravenous as her. She stood up, smiling. "Here," She said, grabbing the bowl of goat stew. Her job at the orphanage included serving, and this came naturally to her. "Those who want goat, lift up their bowls. I'll make sure there is enough for everyone." her cheery smile didn't fade, although she was tired, hungry, and a little irritable. Not to mention, she yearned t sate her curiosity about Helgi almost as much as she did her hunger. ______________________________________ |

| As soon as Yvara basically said that she was going to serve the food instead of letting everyone try to grab every scrap they can, Garai instantly held up his bowl. It wasn't like he was trying to make sure he got food, but he was starving and he just couldn't help himself. A little bit of pink color filled his little cheeks, but he still looked straight at her as a slight smile crawled onto his own face. "I will have some, if you don't mind," he told her with a lightness in his voice and somewhat pleading, dark chocolate eyes. He wasn't trying to be impatient, but he really wanted to cure this growling and constant ache that was settled in the pit of his stomach. It felt unnatural. It was too weird. Granted, he was pretty sure everyone else felt the same way. |

| Tova raced up holding up a small bowl, barley a hand length was it? her green-blue eyes looking up with begging mercy "Me aswell, please..." she asked weakly, her belly grumbled loudly and a bit of her pants and shirt was torn, her red hair almost thrown all over the place like a tornado. |

| Holding the pot by the handle, she scooped some soup out, and dropped it expertly into Garai's bowl. She smiled brightly at him, and turned to Tova to fill the girl's bowl, still holding her smile. She put the pot down on the table once more, and picked up the other one; it was filled with leeks, potatoes (Eira better eat this, BFF >_>), and sliced carrots. She poured some of this in her own wooden bowl. "Anyone for potato and leek?" she asked sweetly. The smell was almost too rich.

| Silya hadn't really paid too much attentionto the old woman who had approached the table, instead leaning over and resting her head on the table, she stared at the kitchen longingly. Go faster, faster... Her stomach was starting to pain her. When their food was finally brought out, she near felt like diving into one of the pots of soup.
"Eight against one. You really wanna try that?" The tree elf smirked and grabbed her bowl, standing up and raising it high. "Me, please!" ______________________________________ |

| Koa raised his bowl, a big smile on his face. "I'll have some." he spoke up, looking expectantly up at the Tribal. He'd often done this back at the Croft Orphanage; Yvara always helped out with the kitchen and the meals. It felt comforting to have at least one routine thing left. His thoughts drifted back to Silvershrine. Before the attack, the Wavefolk boy was dying to get out of that place. He hadn't even been paying attention to the graduation ceremony. It was funny how you only missed things when they were gone. Everything was different now, though. None of it was there, now. None of the people there, either. The only things there would be the smoldering remains of the city and its occupants. Croft, the churches, all those merchants who never failed to hilariously stomp on the cold hard ground in fury when they discovered that half their goods had been stolen. Iceport, Broma, the Redlands... The life of a rebel soldier was one that Koa had often fantasized about, but those were dreams that were never supposed to come true. It was a harsh reality. While he had been graduating and becoming an adult, he was still a child inside. Koa had kept together as Silvershrine burned and the heart of the rebellion crumbled, but it was just a facade. Maybe he wasn't just grown up enough to quite grasp the gravity of their hopeless situation. The others had teased about their destinies and the contents of their packs. Destiny. He often wanted to be a hero. But the Wavefolk didn't want to become one this way.
Some say riches cannot bring fulfillment, Child of the Waves. This is only half true.
These thoughts were fleeting, though, over in a heartbeat. But they left a stain that slightly dampened his mood. He gave a small sigh and let his mind wander to other things, namely the meal that had been prepared for them.
The aroma of the food, by the gods, it was heavenly. Anything would have smelled good when you were that hungry, but it was hard to keep seated. It was a good thing Yvara had stepped up when she did, or there would be as many orphans in Iceport. He looked around at the others, noticing that Serana was conspicuously missing. Surely, she had to be as hungry as the rest of them. He considered bringing it up, before his eyes rested on the pheasant again. It was her loss if she didn't show up for the meal they had all paid for, and more for the ones who had bothered anyways. It was concerning, though. Koa shook the worrying thoughts away. Right now it was about the food. ______________________________________ ‹‹ former site administrator ›› pm me |

| And then they all ate and had a grand old time satisfying their day-long hunger. - - - - - There wasn't even a discussion about visiting Gromm's to meet with Helgi. She was strange, but any help that the adventurers could get would be welcomed. After they ate, they all walked to the merchant's store. It was made of a dark wood, like the rest of the town. Inside there was a shaggy looking dog strutting about, and a woman behind the counter. She was young, plain, and inviting. Her blond hair was chin length, and parted at the side, and her face was unremarkable like the rest of her. Her blue collared shirt and skirt made no difference. She obviously wasn't Gromm. Most of the merchandise was stacked on shelves. There was a shabby collection of books on six shelves towards the back, and precisely folded peasant's clothing towards the front. There was a short row of robes beneath the clothing. One was elaborate and blue, embroidered with red and a pale shade of lighter blue. Next to that was a simple green robe of the same design, a worn, belted brown dress and a white healer robe with yellow detail. The top shelf of the one with the clothing had several cloaks; a black one, a white one, a brown one and a blue one. Strangely, these four robes and cloaks were of the exact size needed by the mages of the group. (for the sake of simplicity this is attributed to destinyyy ;D) Of a similar phenomenon, there was two sets of steel armor that would fit Tova and Garai nearly perfectly in the smithy next door. . . and Koa, Akila and Silya would find three pairs of leather armor. (teh profucy teh gawds tehy did it!!!1) Dear Helgi was standing in the back, holding a book entitled Tyranny of the Witch-Queen; it was written by a rebel five years ago, detailing the history of the Voadan Empire and its uprising. She has since mysteriously disappeared. She watched as the group walked in, and waved them over. "Ysolde, dear, I'll take care of them," Helgi said to the girl behind the counter. The dog barked at them. Ysolde looked embarrassed and took the brown, scraggy looking mutt in a room, and shut the door. It cried a bit but eventually relented. Helgi waved her arm at the merchandise. "Anything you might want on your adventures." she smiled, her faint wrinkles becoming more distinct. She looked only forty-five, though she was fifty-six. Her hair was graying but still had a shock of black. Yvara looked at her, mouth agape. "Are you sure? That is . . . very generous," she breathed, staring incredulously. "Don't even try to decline this old woman's offer," Helgi said, putting her hands on her hips. Her expression softened. "I remember what it was like just starting out. You could be in town a month before you scrape up enough coin to even buy a sword. I always help out the adventurers. It gives me great pride to do something with all my wealth, and donating to the community can be done any day. It isn't all the time you get a fine group of warriors and the like coming through Iceport in need of help." She winked, holding up a thick purse of coins. There had to be at least five hundred. And something told Yvara there was more where that came from. The young witch didn't argue. She gave a slight, respectful nod and looked around. Her green peasant clothes were old and worn, and very dirty from the forest. She fingered through the shelf of garbs. She looked curiously at the bottom shelf. . . there was a brown and black robe. She didn't know it, but this was the traditional wear of a witch. Helgi grimaced when she saw Yvara unfold the thing and look at it, but said nothing. Ysolde and Helgi shared a look; they both probably wondered what that robe was even doing in the shop. Yvara picked it up, and scanned the store again. Helgi looked at her curiously. "You're a mage, then, girl?" She said. "Sorceress? Enchantress? Healer?" it was a challenge, and Yvara saw right through it. "Something like that," she said, wondering why Helgi asked. She fidgeted uncomfortably. Helgi eyed her, and gave Ysolde a sideways glance. Her expression changed, all smiles again. "You can change in the other room. Don't mind Brogvir. And just give Ysolde your old clothes; they're good for nothing but a fireplace now." Yvara swallowed, but nodded. She took a the brown cloak from the top shelf, and also boots from a different shelf. She entered the room, and shut the door behind her. The dog's ears perked up, but he put his head back down. Apparently Yvara wasn't interesting enough for him. A bit self-conscious (she didn't know why; it wasn't likely Brogvir was going to tell everyone), she stripped off her clothes and leather shoes. The robes looked a bit complicated, but she managed it alright. The dress itself was dark brown and simple, falling to just below her knee. Her sides were bare from her waist upward, leaving Yvara feeling exposed; she tied the black cord around her waist. It had two silver shards hanging from it. The chest-line of the dress plummeted too far for her liking as well. Why did she pick these robes -- was it too late to change? . . . if she did, she would face the embarrassment of either walking out there in this or walking back out in her filthy clothes, and she wasn't sure which was worse. And strangely, she felt comfortable in this. Which disgusted her. Folded within the dress were a few accessories; or at least that's all they were to Yvara. Two black cloth wristbands she fastened on her arms. She laced the brown boots up after she finished the dress; they were tight, but walking in them was easy. The Tribal had the faintest idea that this would be cold in Frost, even though she was going to leave to the Redlands soon. . . and the cloak she had taken didn't provide much protection. It was a very dark brown, almost black, and fell to above her ankles. She wrapped it around her shoulders and concealed her exposed sides and chest. She wasn't yet comfortable. When she walked out, she looked quite alluring, really. Her legs were showing despite her attempt to conceal them, and she had tied her hair up with a strip from her old clothes she tore off. The hood of the cloak was down, allowing her red face to be shown. She turned her back, looking only at the shelves. --- And to describe most of your starting gear. Also; Yvara will pretty much wear these robes (which are the robes of the Coven the Witches of Moraine; they are the most ancient and powerful coven in Fourstone, and make their home in an isolated region of the plains of Mistrial.) throughout the RP. You guys can always change eventually. Elden's robe, if you couldn't tell, is the blue and red one. It is an average sorcery student's robe, and flows to his feet; there is a bit of a shoulder shawl type thing that connects to the rest of the robes. Deep red accents the blue in a flashy, intricate design. He gets a dark blue cloak as well. The basic design looks a bit like this, but no cape, and blue and red. instead of gray and black. Eira gets a simple healer's robe. It is white and accented with gold. I can't really describe it so you can come up with whatever. D| Enro gets something similar to Elden, a college apprentice uniform, but his is black accented with green. Koa will get something that looks like it is from Skyrim. You're open to interpret the uniform however you want; in Fourstone it is just a simple bit of light armor. Silya can go with something like this thing from some game called Guild Wars, or just anything leather-related. If you do with the image, simplify it; darker browns and greens, no stripes, jewelry, etc. For Akila, you can go with pretty much anything. I don't want you wearing assassin armor right now, but light armor like Koa's or Silya's can work. Or you can make a variant of the two. Anything leather. Garai and Tova will pretty much have this kind of armor, except no helmets or loin-cloths. If you two would rather have something more simple to start out with, we can move towards the iron direction, and have variants of these armors. Weapons will come next~ woo. ______________________________________ |

| Koa smiled widely. Helgi really was too kind. He grabbed one of the leather piles, turning towards the room that Helgi had motioned to. He waited patiently outside the door, and had to do a double take when Yvara had stepped out. It was... well... he tried not to think about it, slipping into the room as silently as possible.
The Wavefolk boy held the leather armor up, and it unrolled in front of him. Various pieces of armor fell to the ground, landing with a soft sound. He looked it over carefully. Koa grew almost giddy as he shed his dirty and wet robes. Alma bless you, Helgi.
Koa stepped out, decked in the light muddy-brown armor. Well, light relatively speaking. For Koa, it weighed somewhat heavily on his shoulders. No matter, though. The Wavefolk walked forward, the hood shading most of his face but failing to conceal the smile. ______________________________________ ‹‹ former site administrator ›› pm me |

| Well, first Eb was rather confused, since that link is a butt and didn't show, so she had to google it. Now, though, she's disappointed she has to simplify 'cause that outfit is fabulous~. Ahem. Anyways.
The young, mighty adventurer leaned up against one of the shelves, lightly gripping her stomach with her arm and banging her head gently. 'Ugh... I ate way too much...' She mumbled to herself. She eyed the others leaving to change and, with a big and heavy sigh, forced herself to stand up straight. Okay, girl. You could do this. Just keep your pheasant and soup down, try not to move too quickly, slip into some uncomfortable looking armor and then you'll be good to go~
Ahaha... Haha... Ha... Near about to keel over, she walked past Koa and grabbed the first suiting pile she saw in one quick motion, muttering a small "thank you" to the old lady as she walked by, locking herself in the room for a few moments before shedding most of her easily worn, muggy clothes. The Tree Elf had searched around the room for a few moments. Well, if this was a clothing store's dressing room, and formal in the least bit, then there had to be a - ah, there it was. Hidden away under a tarp was an old, mirror... That isn't to much to ask for, right? Or maybe she was just lucky to find one. Shaddap. It was dusty and had cracks, but it'd do.
With a short huff, Silya stared at her reflection in the mirror. She looked terrible. Her hair was loose and a big mess, her skin covered in dirt, and blisters on her feet - It'd looked as if she'd slept out in the snow and had walked for days... Which she did. Terrible. So terrible. Out of a bit of habit and love for decent appearances, she tried to wash some of the dirt off with her old robe and let down her hair; combing through the black locked with her fingers and tying them up tight again, braiding in the middle; pulled over her chest so that they near hid her elfish-ears.
Finally, she got around to taking out the armor itself, holding it up in front of her and giving it a small inspection. Her dark eyes glinted as she muttered quietly the first word that came to mind, "Cool~." It was nothing fancy, that was for sure, but it had a simple and rebellious look to it. Just as she suspected though, this was not good for her settling stomach. It wasn't bad, really, she just needed to choose the right times to binge. The main piece of armor was almost dress-like, and rather confusing for her to put on. Was this a bra or part of the - no that was to hold the; wait, was it for your shoulders or your knees - ? What were these straps for - maybe... no... - Did this outfit thing have a manual? This was worse than trying to solve a puzzle. Admittedly, trying to slip on the outfit the wrong way, Silya had fallen and fell near flat on her face. "Ow!" She yelped, before suddenly remember that the others might hear her through the wooden walls. "I'm okay, I'm okay~!" Silya called, glad they couldn't see the awkward position she was in, nor the red flush in her cheeks. She scrambled back up and took one more deep breath. Okay, clothes. You're going down.
Finally, she managed to get the outfit right. A leather dress with straps to hold pads, protecting her shoulders, and reaching down just past her mid-thigh. There were some extra bits of bands she found interesting as well, slipping the thinner one on one arm, the other being a messy, long-sleeve glove. She kept on the small choker she had been wearing before. Her favorite part, though, honesty had to be the boots. And no, it wasn't the oh-so beautiful color or anything; or the fact that they were strapped so high - they gave protection to her knees as well. Honestly, it was because - no matter how small - the heels gave her a slight height boost. And that just made her day. The most confusing part, though, were the random belts that she ended up just strapping around her stomach - they looked like they could be used as a holster, but she didn't dote too long on it.
All-together, while it wasn't completely amazing - and she was certain she could look better in different colors than this - Silya quite fancied her new appearance, doing little twirls to see herself all around. She still had the appearance of someone younger, not to be taken seriously, but this showed off more of the woman that she actually was - aka; let's clad her in skin-tight armor, throw her arms and a lot of chest out there, and some legs for the luls. Bam. Cute and smexy, in a bitter-sweet sort of way. That's what she thought, at least. Dudes, don't kill her mojo. loljkcrushit./shot Nah, her look wasn't that wonderful - pretty average, actually. You know, cheap - n00b equipment. She'd just have to watch herself bending over. /shotagain.
Lolanywayyssss~ Enough stressing that shet, it got old fast.
What she learned from this experience;; 1. Screw Fashion, it was far from her forte. 2. Don't stuff your face before trying to appease the morpg community with *coughcough* legit, rib-crushing armor. 3. THESE COLORS MADE HER FEEL LIKE A TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Elf... A Tree-Colored Elf... I suppose that was the point.
Silya waited to put on the robe until they went outside, stepping back out of the room with a look of extreme accomplishment on her face. ______________________________________ |

| With a pleasantly large amount of potato and leek soup sloshing in her stomach, Eira trudged after the group towards Gromm's, her once white boots covered in dirt and snow. Her clothes stuck to her with snow and sweat and mud, with dirt smudged on her cheeks and arms. More than anything she wanted to take a bath, or at least wash some of the dirt off. As the entered the store, Eira smiled at the woman behind the counter and fought the urge to run up and pet the shaggy dog. Her childish thoughts were inturrupted by the woman. "Ma'am, your help is greatly appreciated. May the Four bless you." She bowed a little, eyes shining. The teen wouldn't have minded arguing against it- the kindness was to great, but she realized how much the group needed it. So she bit her lip and forced back pride, smiling at the woman before looking around at the clothes. She trailed her finger along the robes, until her fingers ran across a soft, silky fabric. She stopped and grabbed it, studying the dress, a flicker of a smile settling on her lips. She looked around, and instead of going to the dressing room, found the restroom and ducked inside. The blue eyed girl locked the door and turned to see a large bucket of water. Eira looked down on it and sighed softly at the reflection, the girl staring back at her with innocent doe eyes, that held back a profound sense of sadness. Her skin was pale and lacking scars or blemishes, making her look more like a child than she wished. Pink lips, a small nose and rose colored cheeks didn't help, either. She looked younger than she was, and aside from the dirt, she looked unaffected by the past events. And she hated it. Looking away, Eira peeled off her clothes, balling up the brown pants and white shirt. She was hesitant to get rid of her gloves, but they were ripped and tattered, so she tossed them aside as well. Her purple cloak was in her hands, but it was dirty, wet, and ripped. Reluntantly, she dropped it on the ground, averting her eyes. She used the clean water from the bucket to wash away the dirt from her body, and ran her hands through the matted brown hair on her head. Finally, she slipped the white dress on, peering at herself curiously. It stopped a few inches her knees, and the fabric was fairly light. The sleeves flared out, large at the ends, coming above her wrists. The hood on top was rimmed with white fur, and there was gold trim all along the dress. On the bottom, there was cuts, where underneath golden colored cloth could be seen in triangular cutouts. The belt was golden yellow, and she tied it loosely around her waist. Her dark brown hair fell in elegant curls down her back and in front. She had also grabbed another pair of shoes, new white boots that stopped below her knees. All in all, the outfit was simple and light, and it somehow gave her another air of innocent and purity, while also a vibe of maturity and wisdom. She looked less like a child and more like a woman, and she smiled slightly at the young woman in the rippling water one last time, before walking out of the room. She looked at her feet, a small blush rising to her cheeks. OOC; Basic design of Eira's robe, except with yellow instead, and minor changes. cx ~ - Spoiler:

| Elden took down his clothing: a gray and blue sort of apparel. It looked nice, so Elden took a swig from his bottle and went into the other room to try it on. He undressed and all that fun stuff and redressed into it, feeling more like a nobleman though liking his old clothing better. Whatever, he'd get used to it. Opening the door to rejoin the group, he took a long drink. "I look great...huuuh?" he asked, stumbling a little bit as the mead took effect. He buttoned up his collar a little more, and stood next to the group to let the next person change. ______________________________________ i used to administrate but the man tore me down

| Akila was very well satisfied with her meal. She didn't stuff herself knowing if she did her stomach would hurt. She looked at Eira as she trugged through the snow. A look of concern crossed the Redlander's face as she watched her friend. Akila felt relieved as she entered the shop. She hated the snow, and the cold. She preferred the warmness, and sand of the desert. Akila looked at Helgi, and gave a slight glare. As she heard about the free merchandise, her glare softened. She still didn't trust the women, with all her smiles, and free stuff. Slowly Akila left the entrance, and started browsing some of the merchandise. After a bit of looking she finally found something that fit her taste. She removed the black leather outfit from the shelf, and went in the room to change after Elden. The redlander looked in the old mirror that sat in the room apparently. Wow she looked kinda bad. Her hair was messed up but that was about it. She removed her old cloak that was tattered and torn, and threw it to the ground for no reason. She found this awkward a bit.. Changing in some strange room yeah kinda weird. She looked at the black leather clothes she had grabbed and laid them out. She removed the rest of her clothes, and put on the other ones. The pants were fit her well. They were thin, and light. She put on her shirt that went down to the middle of her thighs. After that she put on the little jacket, hood thing. She looked at her self in the old cracked mirror, quiet satisfied with the outfit. She was about to step outside when she remembered that she had to put boots on. She grabbed the black boots, and put them on. Hopefully she wouldn't feel the snow through her knee high boots. She tore a cloth off her old cloak and tied her messy hair up. After one final look, she finally stepped out and join the others, the hood shadowed her face, but she held a slight smile that was hard to catch. She looked around and went over to join Eira, looking like the complete opposite of her. "I like these clothes.." She said to her friend. ooc: This is what her outfit sorta looks like but black and some minor changes ouo - Spoiler:

| Tova walked in behind the group, looking around she had heard the old lady had said but didn't respond, then somthing caught her eye looking at the iron armor she smiled with glee, grabbing the armor she walked into the cream-white room after akila had went in " This looks about right..." she sighed, closing the door behind her she carfully took off her torn ragged, wet clothing and put on the light layer of the armor first then the actual armor, it made clanging noises when it hit and tore apart her clothing and shoved it in to prevent it, also made some sort of 'camoflague' she moved in a circle slowly looking at her armor " This looks nice. " she smiled and walked out. |
